First of all, a first-rate view of the surrounding mountains . Plenty of accessories available for kitchen, sleeping, and bathing. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Groceries, nice parks especially for the kiddies, tubing and rafting close by, not to mention Biltmore and Cherokee

This property was mostly great. The views are spectacular and the layout and accommodations are fantastic. The surrounding area is really lovely with a lot of interesting options for day trips. There were a few important things that could use some work or were disappointing:
- The grill did not work. This was actually a pretty big bummer as we spend a ton of time fixing a big 40th birthday dinner of burgers, kabobs etc., had it all ready to go, and then found that the grill was broken. We then spent a few hours trying to get it to work- switching out propane tanks. When I called the customer service line the gal was nice but ultimately just took note of it and didn't offer any kind of fix.
- That brings me to the next item that was a bit off. The kitchen stove was awful to cook on. The temp control on the burners is rubbed off so it's a bit of a guess what level the burners are on. There is no hood so trying to cook the burgers on the skillet was an oil nightmare. There are not enough glasses for each person to have one at a time. I'm sure they get broken over time, so this is more a note that it's likely time to replace some.
- The hot tub is also likely ready for a flush and refill. It smelled like seaweed/kelp.
All of that is to say that if the above were fixed I would 100% rebook. This place is truly great but if you arrive and plan to use some of the accomodations that you are relying on (like the grill) check as soon as you arrive to make sure there is time to fix.

Had an amazing time here! Great views plenty of space for all 10 of us (4 adults 6 teens) Would love to come back.

Not the easiest route to the top. The view was spectacular!
The house was a little outdated and windows needed cleaning. Bring your own toilet paper!

Secluded, and wonderfully cared for property with an amazing view.

I must say this house does have ATTITUDE, and a mighty good one! The views were fantastic to wake up to every morning! Loved the deck and spent a lot of time around the fire table! Watch out for the driveway! It is STEEP! Can't imagine how you'd get up there in the snow, but when you do, it'll be worth it! This is the kind of house where if you don't enjoy it, it's your own fault!

Once I arrived I did not want to leave. The home was cozy and had such an extremely extraordinary view.
I would recommend.

Such a comfortable place overall , we did not find anything at all wrong with this place, deck up and downstairs, hot tub, sauna room, living room downstairs as well.
Nice big kitchen with everything you need .
Steep driveway but it wasn’t bad at all. Your close to town which was nice as well
We will definitely look to stay here again

House has an amazing view of the mountains.

Best panoramic view ever!

We enjoyed our stay at Altitude with Attitude. House was clean, overall. I just wish windows, fans and under couches were a concern to homeowners. Looking out the windows at that beautiful view would be so much better if dirt wasn’t all in the corners of the windows. Good amenities, good space, great view!

Had a great time during the coldest weekend in January! The house was great and plenty of room to spread out on three floors. Siblings and spouses took on Cherokee with a concert and some gambling!

Love the cabin very nice setup unfortunately didn't like the height but other than that our vacation was very pleasing. Wonderful night view

Everything was great! Yes the driveway was steep but we expected and it and everything was good to go. I love that this house had some of the staples for the kitchen already there. The little things you may forget and leave at home. The home was comfortable. THE VIEW WAS AMAZING. There was plenty of room for everyone and everyone had a great time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Smoky Mountain National Park and all the great little towns around Sylva. Wonderful views from both levels of the deck. Very quiet neighborhood. Cabin was very clean with nice amenities.

This property is amazing and secluded at the top of the mountain. It is very clean and has beautiful views. We loved spending time on the the awesome deck with our group of six. The house has plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable.
We had two minor issues. The smart lock was not working when we arrived and had to call Vacasa to get in with lockbox. We ended up using lockbox for the entire 7 days. Also, for a stay of 7 days, there is not enough provided items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc.. and we had to make several stops to stock up. Other than these minor details this home was great. We would definitely stay here again.

The lodge was awesome! Plenty of room for everyone. Only problem was the driveway. We expected narrow one lane winding roads but getting up hill to park was a challenge. We were a group of seniors & the stairs to the basement & upstairs were tricky. (Only due to our age) i highly recommend this lodge to the tounger generation. The beds were extremely comfortable. Cant mention enough about the Mountain views.

We had the best time at this cabin! The 3 level cabin is roomy and is very spacious. The deck is so comfy with nice outdoor furniture. The mountain view’s are spectacular!! We highly recommend this cabin and can’t wait to come again!!

Gorgeous house with gorgeous views. Very clean, spacious, well stocked. We would definitely go again, however with a 4 wheel drive vehicle only. Our mini van stuggled to get up the driveway.
4.5
The driveway was an adventure, steep but you've just gotta commit and go for it!! All wheel drive vehicles did best but front wheel drive did fine. Everyone in the group absolutely loved the house and talked about going back!! The porch was the best for spending time together and enjoying the view. Plenty of room for a large group not to feel cramped.

Went there for the 10th anniversary and they completely ruined it, here’s how -
1. Code for the lock did not work, had to wait 30 minutes for the master key.
2. Hot tub didn’t work, called 3 times to fix, they promised to send someone but nobody showed up.
4.5
The house is great, needs maintenance. I notified Vacasa that the hot tub was not working Friday, the local people said they would send someone out, they never arrived. I contacted Vacasa 2 other times to dispatch repair, no one called or showed up. Clothes dryer is broken, keypad for entry does not work. Last time I rent a vacasa property, the third time I’ve had issues with Vacasa.

Beautiful cabin on a hill with a beautiful view. Our children loved the ping pong table in the garage and the extra seating area downstairs. Beds were super comfortable and the cabin was very clean. The starter/hotel sized shampoo/conditioner/soap was a great bonus. Would be 5 stars except for a few things- the driveway is VERY steep. It is paved, but would be impossible in ice/snow and dicey with rain. The true ‘log cabin-ness’ of the place includes wooden floors, walls, and ceilings. This is awesome, but not very sound proof- it was loud and if anyone was walking above your bedroom, you weren’t sleeping. Think Mast General Store floors. Small issues for an beautiful cabin. We’d likely stay there again- in the summer!

Pictures don't do it justice. Very scary driveway but we made it up.

And this one thing may not even be an issue for you, especially if you have a 4WD. The driveway was so steep! We couldn't make it up in our SUV. We are FL drivers so we don't have those kinds of skills. There is a second driveway that is below it which is less steep but then you have to walk up the driveway bc it's not directly near the house. And it's a steep walk up and down that driveway. The neighbor let us park on his property which was at the bottom of the driveway because we still didn't want to park in the second driveway because it was too steep for us. So we had to walk the whole driveway up and it was worse than some hiking trails that we did.
But the house is BEAUTIFUL! Better than the pictures. Views are amazing!!! It has everything you need. The fireplace, jacuzzi, and outdoor fire pit were my favorites. Everything worked perfectly. The kitchen had everything you needed, the house was clean, they had all types of books and board games. My son loved the ping ping and foosball table. There was amazing restaurants near by. Lucy on the Rye and Creekside Oyster House and Grill were so good. And mountains, trails, and waterfalls were all between 30 to 50 minutes away.
The downstairs area is a bit cold but they have room heaters. We needed 2 in the downstairs bedroom to sleep comfortably.
There were some lady bugs and stink bugs in the house but it didn't bother me too much but some in our party did not like that too much.
Overall I would stay here again.

House was a great value for all the features. Amazing views but definitely not accessible in icey/snowy conditions so plan accordingly. Road to driveway is very steep, but enough room to turn around on fairly flat driveway. Master shower is very uncomfortable. Not enough hot water to use the master tub. A little difficult to toddler proof, but doable. Other than those relatively minor items the house was a great rental and we would consider returning.

This house was very nice and clean for the most part.

The family and I really enjoyed this home! It was clean, had great amenities, kitchen was well stocked, and the view was breath-taking! It was located in a ideal spot, not too far from Gatlinburg (about an hour and twenty) and we enjoyed the scenic drive through the Smokies! We will definately be staying here again!

Beautiful home, poor comfort service.
Arrived at the house to only find the trash cans full of trash and the deck stacked with trash bags and Cardboard beer flats and boxes from the previous renters. Also, four propane tanks were empty. Contacted Vacasa by text and one phone call. I was informed that the team was on their way to take care of the trash and propane tanks. They never showed up. I was told to be patient or I could go down in town and fill up the propane tanks myself. Nevertheless, A beautiful house, fantastic views but shame on you Vacasa for poor comfort services.

This is our second stay at this cabin. We absolutely love Altitude with Attitude!! It’s so clean and has everything you need. Kitchen is nicely stocked and beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. It has mountain roads up to the cabin but that’s to be expected. Our favorite feature is the view!! It’s the best!! We enjoyed sitting on the deck by the fire pit and watching the sunset. There’s no doubt we will book this cabin again in the future!

We loved our stay at Altitude with Attitude! We spent a long weekend at the cabin with our adult kids and enjoyed all the amenities the cabin had to offer. The views from the deck were amazing and the fire pit added to the experience. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and bathrooms included plenty of towels. In addition, the cabin was conveniently located to area attractions including hiking, waterfalls, rafting, shops and restaurants. We look forward to our next stay at Altitude with Attitude!

Everything about this cabin was wonderful! It was cozy, clean, and very well stocked. The view is AMAZING, the beds are comfy, and everything is well maintained. It's very near the majestic Smoky Mountain National Park & Blueridge Parkway where you can hike and see beautiful waterfalls. It's also close to quaint towns with great restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!!

The home was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the views from the deck, and spent many nights around the fire. Overall, the home was very peaceful and facilitated a relaxing vacation.

Altitude with Attitude is a well laid out home for our group of three adult couples. The very steep drive leading to the house was a problem for a front-wheel drive SUV (warm weather and a dry driveway) but fortunately, we also had an AWD in our group so we shuttled luggage to the house. The house was clean inside but the outdoor spaces had significant pollen build up and spider webs in the windows but that was not a big deal. We were very disappointed that the hot tub did not work. We arrived as the housekeeper was completing her work and she told us that the hot tub had been acting up for some time and it should be replaced. Since we paid an extra fee for the hot tub, this was not acceptable. The service manager visited on Saturday, very quickly after my call, but there is most likely an issue with the hot tub control panel and could not be fixed. While VACASA has promised a refund of the hot tub fee, that does not replace the use of a hot tub for a 4 day weekend in the mountains. The views are spectacular and the weather was perfect, which added to the enjoyment of attending our friends' son's destination wedding at The Vineyard at Betty's Creek. What a wonderful wedding venue. Overall, the house, the weather, the wedding were all great experiences; just replace the hot tub please.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Altitude with Atitude cabin. Spacious rooms and breath taking views. We can't wait to plan our next trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! It was super clean, had everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of utensils. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was amazing! And the views of the mountains are absolutely gorgeous . We would definitely recommend! Thank you so much for the home owners for making our stay the best.
