The hotel and staff were lovely .. Claire who did breakfast was lovely and very attentive.. would definitely stay there again
The room was a little cold but they did put extra heaters in there

Location and comfort
No bath mat in room and you had to ask at reception
4.5 / 5.0
The room was plenty large enough, uncomfortable
Unfortunately the heating went off in the evening as about 8 o'clock and came back on in the morning about 7 o'clock Tuesday. As I stayed it was very cold in the evenings on the first night I could've done with extra blankets or duvet or the heating put back on

Comfortable bed
Quite noisy outside bedroom in carpark. Breakfast a bit disappointing and room small for the price.

Lovely and comfy room
Very noisy until the pub closes, not ideal with a 7 months old baby that had to go to sleep at 7pm but understandable

I was locked out of the room and the night porter failed to answer the phone on numerous occasion so i had to stay at a friends house instead even though i paid over 100 pound to stay in the hotel i couldn't gain access too.

Several stays here. Comfortable, well located, quiet in general and convenient. Good bar area and can highly recommend Church Inn for food opposite.

Local to where I needed to be
Room 3 was really hot. I think it was above the kitchen.

Wonderful inn and pub. Nicely renovated and clean. Amazing service from the staff. Great British hospitality. Breakfast was very good with nice variety of freshly cooked to order options. Lively spacious pub with great food and drink options. Lots of parking. We will definitely be back and highly recommend anybody looking for a place to stay.
Nothing it exceeded all of my expectations

Very friendly & helpful staff. Nicely decorated rooms. Comfy bed. Very clean. Lovely fluffy towels. Good choice of food at breakfast & dinner menu. Fish & chips were fab. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.
No information re WiFi although didn't affect my stay..

Friendly staff
Room number 8 too small and cramped. Stayed here before in a bigger room which was OK but did not like this room at all. Noisy near kitchens. A noisy extractor or something going all night. There was a large floor standing fan in the room which just got in the way. A poor night sleep. Breakfast wasn't great either. No smart TV access. Only freeview channels. Sadly I don't think we will be back again.

Great room, very clean, modern style. Great food in the pub, very good value and good menu. No air con in the room but a fan was provided. It was hot that day and night.
Water pressure was poor so took an age to run a bath in the late afternoon, but it was a little better in the morning. As it was very warm at night we had the windows open but as our room was on the front, we got all the noise from people outside the pub. Avoid rooms 6, 7 and 9, they are on the front. Apart from those two points it was a great stay.

comfortable and clean accommodation.
The rooms are above the pub, so it can be noisy until midnight at the weekend. a large vodka and a comfortable bed and I didn’t notice!

Very good lots of it

Good parking
Noisy ( it’s a pub so we shouldn’t be surprised ) - tiny room and tiny bathroom - breakfast not too bad but I hate condiments in sachets when I’m in a hotel at £160 all in

Staff very friendly and accomodating
We booked for two nights but left after one. The property has a vermin issue in the loft which means that the entire night was spent listening to the creatures scurrying arounnd in the loft nibbling away at various things. We spoke with the staff the following morning and they confirmed that this had been an issue "for years". At £150 per night, this is not a cheap place to stay and the vermin issue is simply unacceptable. We would never return there.

Huge, lovely comfy bed. And the bar downstairs :)
Nothing we didn't like, would definitely stay here again if we came back to visit nearby.

Rooms well thought out and the bed was very comfortable, we slept very well. Both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
Both dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were both very tasty and cooked as asked plenty of choice.
