About this house rental
FULLY RENOVATED yet FULL of Historic Charm and Character
Old world charm fused with new world style and comfort make this historic Santa Fe casita the ideal destination for your journey to "the city different". This well appointed 2 bedroom, 1 bath casita was built in the 1920's and was loved by the same family for four generations. On a native voyage to Santa Fe, we strolled up the historic Eastside just off Canyon Road and fell in love in 2017. We have kept the charm and culture of the original home with a fully renovated kitchen and bath to allow for comfortable accommodations while staying true to the charm of Santa Fe. The classic adobe architecture and original hardwood floors welcome you into the open living room with a Pottery Barn leather sleeper sofa and then continue into the dinning room with seating for 6. A breakfast bar with 2 additional seats looks into the fully renovated kitchen stocked with all the comforts of home. A master bedroom with a king sized bed and a flatscreen TV offers premium furnishings and beddings to ensure your comfort. The second bedroom offers a traditional casita experience with a full sized bed and cozy spaces, no closet but hooks and a luggage rack for convenience. The bathroom contains brick flooring, original new Mexican tile work with new world plumbing fixtures. The oversized rear garden is truly the star of the show complete with a large Chiminea (Mexican clay chimney) is furnished for year round enjoyment of Santa Fe's unprecedented sky in a private oasis just off the bustling historic plaza and celebrated Garcia Street.
Parking, although a premium in this central heart of Santa Fe, is provided for 2 small cars or one large vehicle.
Although rare with adobe construction and a very desirable year round climate. Central air conditioning, new furnace and new plumbing throughout was also installed in fall of 2021 to further ensure your comfort.
A secured wifi provides (although you are likely miles away from the stresses of daily life!) the convenience of staying connected while exploring, checking out and checking in during your trip to this exceptional location in the heart of the "land of enchantment". We look forward to sharing the magic of Santa Fe with you!

The only thing wrong was the heat. It was very hot and they need to have overhead fans in bedrooms and living room.

The house was perfect!

This east-side casita has a lot of personality and the back yard is very, very beautiful. The second bedroom is a bit short on space and has no closet, which means you have to use the closet in the master bedroom (just so you are aware). But there are many positive things that offset this. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. The location is quite good. With that said, some people may find they need to drive to the plaza, but some will be able to walk it. Canyon Road is quite close to the casita. In general, many residential areas in Santa Fe can be challenging to walk in because many streets do not have sidewalks, but as long as you do not have mobility issues, it is a pleasant place to walk around in. You do need to be careful however. The cars speed by, probably faster than they should. The furnishings of the house are lovely and very Santa Fe. Parking was no problem for my Subaru. You do need to wheel the garbage bins across the street once a week. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would return there.

This home is impeccable- the authentic adobe casita is a 15 minute walk to the Plaza & 10 minute to Canyon Road . We stayed there here on a girl trip after the balloon festival & it was perfect in every way! We’re coming back to this wonderful city & would definitely stay at Stacie’s adobe s again . The owner was extremely friendly to give us suggestions on what to do & where to eat !❤️

This very cute casita was equipped with everything one could think of for the perfect stay. Much attention was given to cleanliness which for me is paramount for making any place a comfortable stay. This definitely gets high marks! It was located on a very quiet street in a very nice neighborhood and walkable to downtown. We had fun relaxing in the fenced in backyard for coffee in the morning and with a cocktail after long days of sightseeing. The area is so beautiful with so much to do that we already know we will return and would definitely rent this gem again.
Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!!

This property is in a quiet neighbohood. Walking distance to the plaza. The backyard was a great place to relax. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Check in and check out were easy. We will plan to come back next time. We have often stayed in the small hotels around the plaza. The convenience and privacy of this home is preferred.

My husband and I travel to Santa Fe twice a year to visit family. This is one of our favorite casitas for location, backyard patio garden, host communication, parking, and cleanliness. If you are looking for a 2-bedroom, I recommend this VRBO.

We enjoyed a long weekend in this lovely cottage. The location couldn't have been better, we hardly needed the car. We visited Canyon Road, plaza, and the farmer's market in the Railyard district all within walking distance to the rental. The house was fully equipped with nice amenities, backyard was nice to relax in a beautiful garden. Manager was extremely responsive. We will definitely return!

Our second stay at this beautiful Santa Fe historic casita. So well appointed and close to galleries, plaza, and most importantly The Tea House!!!

We had an amazing 5 day stay in Santa Fe! Adorable, artistic "casita" walkable to the Plaza, Canyon Rd, museums, restaurants, etc. House was perfectly clean (I have high standards!), and with great Southwest vibes/character. Stacie was super friendly and easy to work with and accommodated our need for an extra night with ease when our flight was cancelled. Hiked Picacho Peak (great views!), Dale Ball North, and took day trips to Taos and Bandalier. The snow capped mountains and trails were gorgeous. It was, in all ways, a fantastic and memorable stay! Thank you!

Convenient location, cute little house. The second bed and room is very tight for two people and would probably be better suited to one.

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Fe with this property. The check in process was easy and seamless. The location is walking distance to the plaza and market. There is also food trucks right down the street for coffee and breakfast burritos. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner and the fireplace made it so cozy and special. The house also has plenty of extra sheets, paper towels and toilet paper. Overall, 10/10 and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Santa Fe!
