It’s close to other places, and from window you can see the sea and very nice sunset
Everything is old and dirty - I would like to suggest the owners to do a little renovation and replace many old things with new ones

The beds are super comfy, the property is clean, staff super sweet, cool travelers and middle of Amed. Honestly one of my fav hostels. There is even breakfast included in the already very friendly price. And if you wake up early you get to see the sunrise from the top floor.

Maybe the best hostel/dormitory I have stayed in during my 4 months trip in Southeast Asia. Comfortable and quiet beds with big draperies for privacy. Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff and with breakfast included. The value for money is very very good.
The only thing I would complain about is the Wi-fi. The connection is quite poor.

Hostel con mucho encanto situado frente al mar.
Todo estaba muy limpio, el desayuno en la terraza de arriba con vistas era maravilloso, camas cómodas y espaciosas.
Mucho ruido de gallos y tráfico desde las 6 am.

The ladies of the stay is humble. Arranged us the pickup and drop with correct price. Left early from the place as we had sight seeing planned. But suggest people to stay two nights Atleast to enjoy the Amed beach area. The owner gave us Apple, banana and eggs, which we are highly gratitude.

Autoshop right next door, expect loud metal work at 7am

The dorm rooms are the best I've stayed in. Very clean and all of the beds have a thick curtain for privacy and blocking light. Lockable storage for all beds.
Central location with the incredible Jemeluk beach just across the road.

The family there is the loveliest. They helped us get a boat to Lombok, booked a taxi to get to the port, and took care of us throughout our whole stay. We also booked a snorkeling tour with them and Dharma took us on a fishing boat for 3 hours and showed us some amazing spots where we got to see a turtle, lots of fishes and even a ray, finishing with a wonderful sunset. The room was clean and big and everything was confortable and functional. The best part of the building is the rooftop where we got our breakfast every morning. You have a magnificent view from there (specially for sunrise).

So chill comfy and safe and homey
Hot within the dorm with one air on machine couldn’t breath

Fantastic dorm, concrete beds so no wobbling when someone else gets in, really comfy and curtains. Overly good AC!! Really helpful, and can sort anything for you, including bikes and laundry, great stay
Wifi doesn't really work

We really liked it. The family is really helpful and nice and arranges everything you need.
There is very good snorkeling right in front of the house.
The street in front of the house is sometimes noisy. But we were fine with earplugs. :-)

Really love it, the view, the bed, the staff, the location, also the hostel was so clean, the lockers were big enough for my backpack and my suitcase
I enjoyed my stay here

Nothing really , it’s pretty dirty everywhere around.
There were ANTS in my bed AND everywhere around. Also If you look at the global reviews there is a party almost every night RIGHT next to the hostel where it’s impossible to sleep. If seems like the music is inside your room.

I loved how big the room was. The location was also great.
The matras was a bit old which made me sink in a hole. I heard from other backpackers they had the same issue.

This place really exceeded our expectations! The family here was incredibly friendly and helpful! My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it and would definitely come back!
They also had the best prices for taxis and other services, and they're incredibly honest! My friend was supposed to have left for the airport a day earlier while I was going to go to Manggis the following day. The mother gave us the fairest price for taxis to both places on both days, but then when she learned that my friend was going to delay her flight for a day, she offered of her own volition to give us a refund (since I had already paid for cash for both taxis) as she suggested that we combine taxis because my next location was on the way to the airport. Who does that??
On top of that, she even came with us on the taxi and with my friend all the way to the airport because she was concerned just in case my friend couldn't communicate with the taxi driver as he doesn't speak English. She went hours out of her way (~5 hours or so) just to make sure that my friend felt comfortable taking this taxi to the airport! We were shocked by the kindness shown to us and very grateful for a wonderful stay with this family.
Moreover, this room had the most incredible views! We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets the entire few days that we were there. We could enjoy from the swing on our private balcony or just pull the curtains aside and enjoy the view from the bed. There is also a beautiful rooftop view, which we enjoyed during breakfast; in the evenings you can see many stars from the rooftop as well if you look at the mountains behind.
We highly recommend staying with them. Thank you again for everything!!

the room and the bathroom were very big!
The view from the rooftop is amazing, especially for sunrise.
don’t hesitate to stay in that hostel.

amazing location directly across from a good snorkelling spot. very nice staff. comfortable dorms and really excellent private rooms. great value all around definitely. good social vibes in restaurant area too with some other travellers. breakfast is very tasty. moto rental available, snorkelling gear, shuttle services.
wifi a little unreliable. toilets being in the dorms was not our favourite.

The room was big, the AC worked great, rooms and bathrooms were clean. The bed was comfy with curtain for privacy. Wifi worked perfectly. The locker for bags were huge, which made it comfortable to keep my stuff there. Breakfast was also delicious.
You can also do laundry and rent a snorkel there. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.
Would definitely recommend- everything was perfect!

The lady who owns the place is very kind. For breakfast you get to choose a meal out of several options. Located right across from 2 great snorkelling places. Room has stair style to go up stairs (not ladder). Very worth for the price you pay.
Past travellers ate in the room which can attract small ants. Nothing else

Clean and carring!
All good for the price.

the vibe is homey. very comfortable, beds with light and charging socket, rack and hooks as well to hang your things. towel and breakfast included. need any transport services and they can help. great view on their terrace. free water refill!
the only thing that isn’t great is the wifi. but everything else was absolutely lovely. this is my second time back and I’ll always come here when visiting amed

The layout of the rooms is the best I've seen in 8 years of staying in hostels! The bed frames and stairs to the top bunks are made of concrete so no squeeky squeeky! There's a generous amount of space within the room and the lockers are huge - also made of concrete. It's a very clean, quiet hostel yet a great place to meet people, the rood terrace creates a space for being alone or hanging out with friends over food or drinks. Brilliant place with lovely staff!
Honestly, nothing! It's ticked all the boxes for me.

The location, the kindness of the staff, Ketut was so nice and helpful, the delicious breakfast with complimentary fruit, the view from the rooftop while having breakfast, the beach in front of the guesthouse where you could snorkel, scooter rental, snorkeling gear for rental, arranging transportation, the fact that there is a convenient store and restaurants nearby, comfortable bed, AC, good wifi, clean showers and toilets. you guessed it, I loved staying here :)
everything was perfect

how friendly the family were, the location is amazing - right across from the beach - best view from terrace, short walk to yoga &food - best fish and chips right there (sama sama), the breakfast is AMAZING with so many options included in your price, the beds were very comfy, cleaned daily. honestly one of my favorite places in bali, the accommodation and the village.
the wifi wasn’t that great.

I love that they offer a second cuddle pillow. The dorm has tons of space, AC works great as did the hot water.
I only wish the bed lights in the dorm had a softer yellow light instead of the white, but that's really not a big deal

Super clean, well laid out rooms with plenty of space. Delicious free breakfast included in the price, good value for money. Good location within walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, dive schools and beaches if you don’t want to rent a scooter.

Stayed here for the second time. A nice place to stay with a good location and very friendly staff. The rooms are basic but they have all you would generally need including a desk, closet, drying rack for your dive gear etc and are cleaned daily. Lovely view from the balcony and breakfast area too. Great value for money.
