Holiday Inn Express is central to everything, the room was clean, well appointed and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The free breakfast is excellent and sets you up for the day, itâs pretty good value for money and in itself a good reason to come back đ
it would be nice to have a microwave in the room, also worth mentioning that parking is from a third party provider and costs $25/exit but considering it is in the city I guess that discounted rate is not too bad.
4.5
Clean, room has plenty of power sockets and mirrors. Free breakfast

Location was great
The noise from the nightclub thumping music until 5.00am

The music noise was unbearable.

Fantastic location. Short walk to the tram great if you have an event at the Entertainment Centre. Casino is walking distance as is Rundal Mall for your shopping.. Parking within close proximity. Exceptional team from front desk, food and beverage to housekeeping
Everything was perfect.

At the top end of the CBD, the Holiday Inn is centrally located near... just about everything. Theres shopping nearby at rundle mall, food from around the world near your doorstep and a short walk to Adelaide Markets and Chinatown.
The room itself is on the small side, but a good amount of storage. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. This room also has the best blackout blind I have seen in a hotel.
Big thanks to staff for an early check in, they were fantastic.
Where the toiletries are locked in for use near the sink.. for some reason there was shampoo instead of hand wash.. so i had to open the shower every time i wanted to wash my hands.. no big deal, but pretty inconvenient.
Also for those sensitive to light when they sleep.. if your partner goes to use the toilet at night.. that light is gonna shine through the patterned glass box that is your bathroom. Not an issue for me as a solo traveller, but it could be a deal breaker for some.

Close to plenty of shops and things to do
We had made a booking for two rooms and initially we were put on different floors. The staff were able to move us to be beside one another, however we were moved on to floor 5 near the hindley street end of the hotel. We were kept awake by a bar playing such loud music until 5am on two nights of our stay. We discussed this with the staff and noted that although the music isnât their fault the room was unacceptable, however they said there was nothing they could do which left us feeling stuck.

Very pretty hotel in the heart of Adelaide. Very fast to get to from the airport with the bus station just a few minutes away. Itâs pretty much close to everything of interest.
The room was nice too, as was everyone working here.
Breakfast was included and was good - I didnât specially loved the coffee.
My room was close to the elevator, it could get rather noisy because of people coming and going, but nothing too bad.
3.0
Accessibility to malls and entertainment area was fine. Transportation to different part of Adelaide was great. The staff were very helpful especially the receptionists.
We were not happy with the breakfast as we were given more or less the same thing everyday for the 6 nights we spent there and you don't have any options for something else. The cleaning staff needs to be trained more on how to clean as we were not happy with their standard of cleaning. None availability of a functional restaurant is also a negative as we had to keep looking for different spots to buy food which one could have conveniently done so if the hotel offer that service.

Great central location
Very friendly and helpful staff
Room 526 faces the back of a bar that stays open until 530am, playing music so loud that my room was vibrating
Could never seen to find the light switches for all the lights.

Disappointing that we paid $60 more a night than our friends with the same room type (rooms were side by side) noise was unbearable and we found it difficult to sleep
