Start of eindig hier je trip, geen minpunten

Vriendelijke mensen, wij landen snachts om 02:00u en ze hadden een pickup voorzien en er was iemand om ons te ontvangen. De kamers waren tiptop in orde en het ontbijt was lekker en op een rustige plek!

Heerlijk verblijf om negombo te ontdekken

Het is een mooie accommodatie met zeer ruime kamers en een groot en comfortabel bed. Ook heeft elke kamer een paar stoelen voor op het balkon om op te zitten. Wij reisden met een baby en ze hadden een fijn babybed/cosleeper. Airco werkte top, royale badkamer. Bij aankomst werd een sapje geserveerd. Het zwembad is heerlijk om even in af te koelen. ‘‘s ochtends wordt er een uitgebreid ontbijt geserveerd buiten bij het beekje. Lokatie is dicht bij de hoofdstraat, net achteraf waardoor het toch rustig was.

Angenehmer Ort zum Ankommen

Schöne Lage im grünen. Super Frühstück, Nah zum Strand. Ideal zum Ankommen. Wer sehr früh landet und so früh ins Zimmer möchte, sollte ggf. eine Nacht früher dazu buchen. Dann kann man direkt ins Zimmer. Wir kamen um 7:00 an und verständlicherweise war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig. Wir haben die Zeit genutzt und uns den Fischmarkt in Negombo angeschaut . Der Fahrer (Nuwan von Serendib all Island Tours), den das Hotel nach Dambulla für uns gebucht hatte war super, sehr angenehm, sprach gut englisch und hat uns unterwegs einiges gezeigt.

Die Zimmer waren ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und ein paar kosmetische Schönheitsreparaturen im Zimmer würden die Zimmer wieder aufwerten.(z.B. kleine Löcher in der Wand )

Beautiful calming oasis and great value for money

I only stayed here for the afternoon/evening before my 3am flight, so I can't give a detailed review. However, I found Serendib Village Guest House to be a lovely calming oasis in Negombo and the owner is lovely too. My room was huge and included a sofa and big bathroom with a really good shower. There's a large terrace to chill out on, as well as a pool area and garden. And, if you're an animal lover, you'll be right at home here - there are dogs and cats everywhere. The place was also fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend and stay here again :)

Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and great location

Really quiet location, but on walking distance from all the restaurants and the beach. Really friendly people with an amazing breakfast next to the water. They really made sure everything was glutenfree for me.

We werden verrast door een prachtige kamer. De meest lieve mensen en geweldig ontbijt. Dit staat toch als een van onze beste verblijven van onze reis. Heerlijk zwembad maar binnen 5 minuten bij de main road met cafés en restaurants.

Ze zijn ontzettend gastvrij. Ruime kamers en badkamer. Fijn zwembad. En heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt aan de lagoon

Fijne, rustige accommodatie met veel groen en ruime kamers. Grootste pluspunt is het heerlijke en uitgebreide ontbijt! Prima, warme douche. Locatie goed, een paar leuke eettentjes op loopafstand, evenals het strand. Fijn plekje voor 1 of 2 nachten.

Veel muggen doordat er zo veel groen was. Schoonmaak kon wat beter. Matig onderhouden kamer.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Hebben erg goed verblijf gehad. Lekker om bij te komen na lange vlucht. Ligt op loopafstand van de hoofdstraat waar lekkere restaurant zijn. Ontbijt is geweldig. Heerlijk zwembad. Alle medewerkers aardig en zeer behulpzaam Prima taxi voor ons geregeld naar de volgende plaats.

De rustige locatie, sfeer, vriendelijke eigenaren die graag willen helpen, lekker verfrissend zwembad, heerlijk, zeer ruim ontbijt! Bonuspunten dat deze mensen zo goed zijn voor de dieren!

Havre de paix

L'hôtel est un havre de paix, proche des commerces et de la plage. Les lieux sont très propres et le personnel est aux petits soins pour les clients. Le petit déjeuner inclus était excellent et un tuktuk m'a été arrangé afin de partir très tôt le matin pour l'aéroport Je recommande vivement cet établissement!

Een klein paradijs, jammer dat we niet konden blijven

De kamers zijn lekker groot, compleet met een zitbank en salontafel. De accommodatie ligt op een rustige plek en is compleet met een zwembad, geschikt voor kleine kinderen. De plek waar je ontbijt ligt idyllisch aan het water, omringd met veel groen, waar je allerlei vogels kunt spotten. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als er een mankement in de kamer is, wordt dat onmiddellijk verholpen. Tours en taxi's zijn tegen schappelijke prijzen te regelen. Dit is een klein paradijsje, dat we iedereen kunnen aanbevelen.

Great stay. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

Peaceful, good size room. Pool area, breakfast by the river. Saw water monitors, kingfisher, and lots more whilst eating breakfast. Food was amazing. Easy walk to beach. Staff friendly sky and helpful. They do have lots cats and dogs.

génial car petit hôtel charmant réservé pour notre première nuit

tout était très bien, l'hôtel a beaucoup de charme, le petit déjeuner au bord de l'eau, la chambre près de la piscine.

pas d'eau chaude pour nous avec un bébé (mais ce n'est pas ce que je retiens car l'endroit est vraiment très mignon).

Prima hotel voor een nacht

Prima kleinschalig hotel. Grote kamer (wij zaten bovenste verdieping), groot bed, goede airco, riant en lekker Srilankaans ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Op loopafstand van restaurantjes. Goede keus voor een goede prijs. (Zwembad hebben we niet gebruikt)

Leuk verblijf in Negombo met prima prijs / kwaliteit verhouding

Prima ruime kamers met airco, goed schoon en ook een ruime schone badkamer. Voor de kamer een heel ruim balkon waar je heerlijk kunt zitten met uitzicht op de tuin. Zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt in de tuin aan het water (wat er overigens niet heel fris uitziet). Vriendelijk personeel! Dicht bij winkels en restaurants zonder dat je in de kamer het lawaai of de drukte merkt.

Waterdruk van de douche was minder. Na een nacht goed geslapen te hebben wel wat last van onze rug, waarschijnlijk door het zachte matras.

Exceptional breakfast in the garden. Lots of wildlife in the canal next to the dining area. the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is well located in a back street only a few miles from the airport.

Schöne kleine Unterkunft mit kleinen Mängeln

Eine schöne Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Besonders das gute Frühstück am Kanal ist hervor zu heben. Man kann gut die Tiere beobachten (z.B. Warane) und den Vogelstimmen lauschen. Zum Strand sind es wenige Minuten.

Das Badezimmer hat einen unangenehmen Geruch. Das Wasser ist morgens kalt und hat wenig Druck. Kein Kühlschrank, trotz in der Beschreibung angegeben. Alles in allem kann man aber die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen
