It was warm and welcoming on a freezing night. Dinner and breakfast were good. I loved the tiles in the bathroom. The walks leaflet was a great suggestion and we enjoyed a frosty walk.

Lovely old hotel in a quiet little village. Restaurant food was good but we were overcharged for supper due to a mix up with the staff. We were asked to pay £33.55 extra the following morning when it should have been £15.15 !
Bedroom was very small when I paid £10 extra to get a better room. Bedroom needs updating, see photos.

It has lots of character, the beer was lovely and our room was great. We stayed in the King room and it was very comfortable and large too. The bed was great, super big and the mattress quite firm, which we like. Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to try out the whirlpool bath but it looked very impressive. Our sleep was undisturbed and we didn’t hear a peep from anyone else in the other rooms. Breakfast was tasty and arrived quickly. From our room we had a view over the garden which looked lovely, with plenty of tables and chairs and I’m sure must be nice to enjoy a drink in, with the summer sun. The staff were also really friendly & helpful.
We only stayed for one night, as we were attending a funeral, but we’d certainly consider staying for longer. Thoroughly recommend.
There wasn’t really anything we can think of.

Really clean room and an excellent breakfast. Staff helpful and really friendly.
Our room (number 7) appeared to quite near the extraction fan for the kitchen so really difficult to get to sleep until this had been turned off.

The bathroom in our room was in need of a bit of TLC

Wonderful, warm welcome and staff accommodated our early arrival, all 6 of us!
We felt valued and that all efforts would be made to make us feel comfortable.
It was a lovely setting , a few miles from our wedding venue but staff organised our transport willingly. There was that home from home feeling and you cant ask more than that.
No complaints.

Very friendly staff in the bar and at breakfast.
Fantastic view from the room.
Great location.
Clean and comfortable room/bed.
Not all advertised items were available at breakfast.
No cold meats, cheeses, pastries and on one morning no yoghurts.
Breakfast was good otherwise.
As the pub is predominantly a restaurant, due very much it’s location, the bar shut quite early.

Nice pub lvly beer garden
My partner needs a disability trolley fir walking . There was only steps from the bar area down to the beer garden . She struggled with the steps. Needs wheelchair access.

Beautiful location . Really helpful and friendly staff. Good vibes and great food. I had a really great time and the hazz band was fantastic. Its gets quite busy as they do a great roast dinet. THE village is very scenic and we will be coming back
I didn't like having to leave

The place where it is in Worsten is beautiful. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
It's also a lovely little eatery and pub with a wide range of drinks and the food sounded lovely.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing and we both ate all of it. Sausage was particularly delicious.
Nothing. Nothing at all!!

The room was very spacious with a view of Pendle. Heating was ok. Plenty of tea, coffee sachets and milk. Fresh biscuits each day. Comfortable bed. Range of lighting. Good size bathroom with shower and bath. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo. Good choice of traditional or continental breakfast. Dining menu was extensive. The choices we made were very good. All staff we met were obliging.
We had a small problem with the bath; the plug would not work. Also the window blind was damaged and after pulling down could not be raised again. Staff when informed set about the first problem which was solved but apparently the damaged blind had been around for some time.
