It was different to walk through a store to get to the hotel lobby, but none the less, it was nicely decorated, there was a kitchen for use and the check-in/check-out process was easy. Our room was simple, but nice with a little balcony; the bathroom was clean, but the hot water was not hot enough; and the mattress was very comfortable. Daniel is a good host and will address any of your questions or concerns. The bread of the breakfast was great. They even stored our bag while we passed the day.
This hotel is a great place! It is in a not so great location, as far as noise and activity go. The location is convenient to the main square and most everything else. It just happens to be quite noisy, so sad to say, we did not get a very good night's sleep and that is the reason for the less-than 10 rating.

Very close to colectivo stop and main plaza. Clean, spacious private room at super price. Fantastic breakfast.
The main common area could use an update.

Breakfast was super good. Nelly and Erica were both super lovely and helped me to feel like home. I received help to find a long term accommodation in the sacred valley and anything I wanted to find there. I highly recommend Apu :) People are very chill and the hostal is on the main road.

das Personal ist unglaublich nett und die Atmosphäre familiär, man fühlt sich direkt gut aufgehoben und wie zu Hause

Excellent, very helpful staff. Absolutely amazing breakfast (thank you for best sandwiches, ladies!), great location and lovely vibe, full of arts on the hostel walls. Truly recommend.

Sheets and blankets weren’t clean. The whole building smelled like smoke. The other guests were extremely loud until 3am

The room was nice.
It’s full of young kids (all from Israel) making music untill midnight, where it was actually supposed to be quiet after 10, there is nobody controlling the music and we couldn’t even sleep. smoking and clubbing kids downstairs

no hot water in the shower

Delicious breakfast (Sandwich, fruits, pancake, juice, coffee). Comfortable bed. Nice view.
A bit noisy (next to mainroad, party/loud guests downstairs until 11/12 pm)

Very hard to communicate with staff, no effort made to quite the group of people in the art/music/meeting room. Notice up to allow chats until 11pm, however still noise right up to 2 a.m. Walls are paper thin, can hear absolutely every movement from rooms at either side and out in the halls ways and corridor and traffic passing on the main road. Location is good as its close to centre of pisac, but not great regarding traffic. Beds were uncomfortable, and found the rooms very cold during the night. Stayed last week in Nov, when evenings are that bit cooler, but woke both nights with the cold with no option of extra blankets. Meant to stay 5 nights but changed booking to 2 nights and changed our location. I would not recommend, regardless of the cheap pricing, better hostels for an extra 3 to 4 Soles a night. I was in a room 3 stories up with a big suitcase and no help available or offered. Also this is not a hotel, its a very low budget hostel.

I like the idea of the property, but execution is terrible.
That it would be quieter to sleep on the street (& probably more comfortable too). I’ve stayed in many, many hostels all over the world and this is the noisiest place I’ve ever stayed at with the most inconsiderate guests.
If you like smoking weed and staying up making a lot of noise into the early hours of the morning, this is the place for you!
3.7
The breakfasts, the artwork in the place, the communal spaces and the opportunity to do art.
No ventilation in the smoking area that was the art/music room.

Location was great.
The kitchen was very dirty and disorganized. There was clutter of things everywhere in the lobby area. My room was next to socializing room where there was music made and I could not sleep at all despite my several warnings. Also people were so loud till late hours in commom areas and there was no staff authority to control the situation. There was no water at all, I could only brush my teeth with bottled water. Hostel gave my 50% money back because I rented a private room as I was very ill but no response were given to other guests who were affected from the water. I was unforfortable eating the breakfast because the kitchen and staff hugiene was low...

Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of fruit and juice, vegetables and eggs.
Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful.
Bed and bath were clean and comfortable.
The noise level was horrendous inside the facility. People were talking loudly and it echoed. There needs to be a quiet requirement starting around 10 pm, at least no later than 11 pm. I could not sleep with the loudness of the people talking. I finally had to go out of my room around 11 to complain to someone about the noise they were making. It still took 20 to 25 minutes for the decibel level to get down low enough to sleep.

The place is beautiful. The ladies who are cleaning and preparing breakfast are very nice and welcoming. There is a "gallery" room where you can paint.
When I arrived my room was occupied from others, so I had to stay for 1 night in another room. Even though I had informed them that I'm gonna checkin a day after. But anyway this was the least. It was OVERLOUD all days no matter time. I couldn't sleep even with my earplugs on. I booked the place for 16 nights but on the 5th day I left running. The previous night I slept on 5am because there was loud music and people screaming. I had to call the staff and tell them that I cannot sleep. There was a sign that after 11pm everybody should be quiet, no music etc, another sign that the kitchen is closing at 11pm. No rule was being followed. That led to a feeling of disrespect and of personal violation. Also, I hit my head pretty hard at some stairs where the ceiling is too low and there is no sign for warning. I'm still suffering a mild concussion. While I was checking out, still dizzy and in pain, I told the manager about my accident (using google translator because she couldn't speak english at all) and she..laughed! The "gallery" room is being used as smoking area too but there is no enough ventilation or even windows that can be opened, so the odour of smoking was reaching my room. Also there was no window in the room, only internal window viewing inside the hostel. The bed was uncomfortable, I had back-pain every morning. It should be presented as a Youth Hostel, so the future guests have more specific expectations. For me it was my worst experience as far.

location was close enough for an easy walk to the plaza. I think the staff knew why I had a bad experience and didn’t charge me for the 1 night I stayed out of a 3 night reservation.
I checked in after multiple days hiking without a shower, so that was the 1st thing I wanted to do. but there was no hot water and the staff said it would be fixed “mas luego.” Well, later the cold water went out too so there was literally no running water at all the day I was there.
I can empathize a bit for mechanical issues, and probably wouldnt have left this review if it was just that. But for whatever reason around 7-8pm the hotel hosted what I could only describe as karaoke for 8 year olds. keep in mind this multi story place is all centered around an open atrium/lobby, so even in my closed room on the 3rd floor I could hear every word the staff was loudly saying to each other, as well as their screaming kids that hung out in the lobby. But this karaoke thing was unreal. it was a group of kids loudly singing along to horrible pop music. I could have some patience until 9, maybe 10pm at night but this went on PAST 1AM! I dont know why they even kept kids up that late! but literally every word and every scream pierced through the walls and the music was blasting like a nightclub with horrible music. I was SO tired from my hike and having camped for 3 days, but I still didn’t get 1 minute of sleep until I downloaded an app on my computer to blast white noise and drown out the sound.
The staff yelling back and forth to each other across the lobby was bad enough, but I have no idea how they thought this karaoke thing would be acceptable. I assumed they might have debated how bad this was, but I have multiple audio recordings taken on my phone from my bed that sounds like I’m in the middle of a children’s concert.
I packed up at the crack of done and checked out of the hotel even though I didn’t have a place to go yet. the staff didn’t charge me for the night so i appreciate that, but I would have paid anything for a normal nights sleep, running water, and not to ruin an entire 24 hours of my trip.
