What was not to Love about Villa Pietra Santa? The view was spectacular from our balcony, the breakfast was Amazing and the Staff were beyond exceptional! They made our stay amazing! We loved being in a quiet area away from all the madness of the center of Positano but close enough that we could walk to and from . Trust me, the walk is worth staying here and it seriously is not very long. I am telling you, this is the place to stay because you will get to do everything you want to do in Positano but have the best night sleep too! Well worth the money !!!!!
Seriously? There is nothing I didn't like!!! This place is SUPER clean and you really have everything. THERE IS NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!! IT IS AMAZING!!!!!

Great view, enjoyed the spa on balcony
The distance from the main area

VPS is a hidden gem in Positano. The property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained by the family that owns it themselves. It is very clear they take pride in offering an exceptional stay from the delicious daily breakfast that is brought to your room every day to how clean and comfortable the rooms are. Christian was lovely and always in hand to deliver what we needed or requested. The location is a 10-15 minute walk out of the city center but is exactly why we chose to stay at VPS. You still get the gorgeous view of Positano (which is breathtaking) but you are away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded downtown (especially when the ferries bring visitors from other places for the day!) We always enjoyed retreating back to VPS after a busy day to sit on the private balcony and watch the sun set. Would HIGHLY recommend and would stay again on another trip to Positano!!!

This intimate property is family owned and run and they are LOVELY. Onsite and so very helpful! It is a dramatically beautiful location, and a bit separated from the louder in-town lodging choices, but still a pleasant walk into restaurants and shops.
I cant think of a negative. Truly.

This accommodation was amazing! We stayed 3 nights in July and loved it. It’s a 10 minute walk to the main Positano beach. I originally thought this distance would be a negative, but the main Positano beach is crowded, touristy and expensive. The location of this property was 100% better than staying in the crowded centre. The other main positive was that the amazing restaurants that are a 5-20 minute drive away will send a car to pick to hip and drive you home for free. This isn’t possible for the hotels in the main centre as there are no roads for cars to get through, but this location allows for it. Family run business and all the staff were informative and friendly.
Nothing.

Our room was exceptional, as was the lovely Breakfast cart that was wheeled in each morning. Antonio, his brother Christian, and Mama were so welcoming I thought I was in my family home!!
Nothing - all was perfect!!

Everything, the staff, the room, the private balconies with the most incredible view. And a short walk down steps to a private beach.
Absolutely nothing

This property is stunning. the location was lovely. the views were spectacular. the family who owns it were so welcoming. would absolutely recommend over and over again.
the only complaint would be the crossiants were completely burnt in the morning. still 10/10 but would have loved a delicious crossiant

The view was amazing from our own private terrace. Breakfast was custom ordered and delivered to the room to be enjoyed on the terrace. The self serve espresso machine was a big hit for this traveler. Anna and her sons were excellent hosts who also guided us to some fabulous restaurants.
Coming from the US, one needs to appreciate the road system on the Amalfi Coast and understand that pedestrians, scooters, cars and busses all use the same, narrow (1-2 lane) road in ways that can appear chaotic.

Loved the private balcony with hot tub and beautiful view, lounge chairs and table and chairs for eating breakfast and relaxing with wine
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The croissant was the best I ever had!
It’s about 10 minutes walk on the busy road with no sidewalks

wonderful, clean, astonishingly beautiful views. breakfast was the best I had in my life.
not so great how to get there, but this more on behalf of Costa Amalfitana roads than the hotel itself

Beautiful location. Room was very nice, with a terrace and working hot tub. It was wonderful to sit in the hot tub and look at the stars as there is a retractable sky cover. Great facilities with a lovely rooftop sitting/lounge area. Parking on site. And the view was wonderful. Breakfast is included and delivered daily. It was delicious.
Nothing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Property was beautiful, clean, comfortable. Views from the balcony were stunning. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. A full breakfast, delicious and on time each day. Bed was comfortable and jacuzzi on the balcony was so relaxing. Also love the private path to the beach (lots of stairs so beware). Location was perfect for us. Close enough to walk to town but removed enough to be private. Very very happy with our stay here.
Only feedback is to invest in new TV's with smart apps. Remote didn't work and no options to watch anything other than Italian news.

Amazing room with a view and jacuzzi.
Sill priced on the high end even though it’s a little walk outside the city

The hotel is amazing, we stayed in the helios suite. The best view of positano bay, amazing balcony hot tub and awesome room.
Loved the room service cocktails, reasonably priced and always came with Italian snacks.
Be sure to go down the private access steps to the beach, great experience but be ready for a hike back up! :)
The hotel could not improve but the location is 10 minute walk from the top of positano bay. As it is at the top road, if you are wanting to go to the bottom of positano bay and then back home later its quite a treck, we did ~15,000 steps a day, we didnt mind that but some with accessibility issues would struggle.

We loved the view from our terrace, the room was exceptionally clean and well presented. Breakfasts were really good, we enjoyed eating outside with a wonderful view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The owner and son were so pleasant and helpful that we felt very much welcomed and at home.
Some have mentioned the walk from restaurants but we welcomed the opportunity to walk off our dinner, it wasn’t too far, about 12 mins walk and the benefit of being slightly out of the centre of Positano meant it was quieter there.
We have great memories of our visit to Villa Pietra Santa and would definitely stay there if we returned to Positano.
We found the bed a little harder than we are used to, so perhaps a mattress topper option would be good.

It’s not that near from the center

Loved free breakfast. Staff was super friendly. Biggest issue was that the beds were really hard. Views were amazing. From Helos room.
Location isn’t. The best. It’s not far from the port but it’s not close. Took about 15 minutes to restaurant and and shops by foot

We came in "shoulder season" and the town, unbeknownst to us, essentially shuts down on 10/31 for the season....we arrived 11/3. Although most of the popular places were closed for the season, we were still able to find places withing walking distance for dinner...even a place that delivers. The accommodations were beautiful and helped offset the bummer of cold rainy weather we had. This was far and away the best accommodation we had during our entire Italy trip. The staff was always cheery and pleasant to interact with.

Incredible views and I loved the bath on the balcony. We had our delicious complimentary breakfast each morning on the little table out there.
Was terrified of the walk down to the beach, but that's most of the island so not much can be done about that!
