Amazing value for money?

I read some reviews and got scared because people were complaning about the cleanliness and staff, but for us it could not be further from the truth! The rooms were very clean and the stuff was super super friendly. So I don't know what happened to the others, maybe they had the shared rooms or so. Yes the rooms were a bit outdated, but it's a 2 star hotel and you paid 30 bucks a night per person, what are you expecting people?

Other than that there were scratches in some places, and the AC was a bit dusty, nothing to mention.

What we needed

Great location that is close to attractions and public transit. Luggage storage service was appreciated. Clean bathroom.

The rooms really need some TLC (scuff marks and scratches all over the walls). Also, we were glad we only had carry-on sized luggage in the room.

Alright for an overnight stay or for backpackers but not long term.

Most of the staff were friendly and it was in a great location close to attractions, places to eat and to transport.

However the beds were very uncomfortable as was the ‘couch’. The partion between the bottom bunk beds was not put together properly. The bathroom was tired and the toilet seat was slightly cracked. The room wasn’t overly clean either. Not great value for money.

위치랑 가격만 보고 여기 왔어요! 가족들이랑 2박 3일로 멀리는 못가고 근처에서만 놀았는데 구경하면서 걸으니 금방 도착했었어요! 위치 깡패라서 주변 시장들 간단하게 구경하기도 좋았고 편의점, 이자카야, 식당 등등 다 있어서 여유롭게 구경 다 했어요! 도톤보리도 가까워서 금방 걸어갔다가 왔구요. 방은 좁다고하길래 이미 예상 했었고 욕조가 있어서 하루하루 피로 풀기에 좋았어요! 드라이기, 와이파이, 냉장고, 샴푸, 린스, 바디워시 다 있고 수건은 아침에 넉넉히 걸어두어주시고 어메니티는 언제든지 필요할때 가져갈 수 있었어요. 직원들도 친절했어요! 첫 일본 여행이였는데 너무 만족했어요. 다음에 재방문 의사 있습니다!

Fabulous location and value for money

The location was great. Walking distance to public transport, Dotonburi and the Denden precinct.The room had everything we needed, including a bathroom. The staff were really helpful and the restaurant downstairs served a fabulous breakfast for a reasonable price.

Convenient budget friendly quick stay.

The location was great, and for the price the facilities were acceptable. The breakfast was decent each morning.

The rooms were quite small and not much room for our luggage. The staff weren’t the most accommodating but that didn’t impact our stay. If you want a cheap stay this place is more than adequate.

Hotel dengan pelayanan baik di pusat keramaian Namba di Osaka

Kamar bersih, dekorasi kamar hotel dan lobby yang sangat menarik, kamar mandinya juga bersih dan fungsional. Lokasi hotel juga di pusat keramaian Namba, tidak jauh dari subway Osaka metro, Nippombashi station, mudah untuk bepergian ke manapun di Osaka. Ada kopi gratis tersedia di lobby. Fasilitas titip koper sebelum waktunya check in dan koper langsung dimasukkan ke dalam kamar kami pada saat kami kembali ke hotel untuk check in. Semua staff sangat ramah dan dapat berbahasa Inggris dengan baik.

Luas kamar sangat sempit untuk kamar 4 orang, sehingga kurang nyaman untuk bisa beraktivitas di dalam kamar. Harga kamar cukup mahal untuk ukuran kamar sesempit ini.

excellent

The location was amazing - right in Namba, but on a quiet-ish street, and the staff were very nice and helpful. Also, the breakfast was thoughtful and tasty -- there were 3 different menu options ranging from japanese to western to pick from each day. I didn't rent any bicycles, but that probably would be awesome. I liked my room, and the fact it had a desk. somewhere to sit other than the bed -- I always forget to look for that in hotel descriptions, so it's really my fault when i don't get it, but it's a nice thing to have in a hotel room after you've been walking all day.

It really was an excellent stay, so this is not a criticism - just something i noticed in different hotels across Japan - that would've been nice -- a smart TV. Not that I was in Japan to watch TV, and of course i didn't expect to find any english (except maybe bbc news?), so it's not a complaint, just an observation. It was nice in other hotels to be able to pull up YouTube and watch videos about the city or whatnot while I was getting ready.

Easy to find, accessible location. Friendly staff, nice waiting area with complimentary drinks.

Check-in was very smooth. The staff were extremely courteous. Room was cute & cosy, all the basic necessities were met. The sink took a bit of getting used to - was an interesting set up. Overall it met expectations.

There was a daily towel replacement service. However we didn't always require the new towels, so if there were a way to inform the staff that they were not needed it would have been good so that we could help to save the effort & water, etc.

Location

This is the second room I booked last min as the compact quad room is just too small for 4. Surprisingly was given the family room which I requested the night before when told was available after my night 1 in the compact room.

Disturbing

The location is good. Near to Den Den, Dotonbori and shopping streets.

The compact room for 4 is just too small. The 2 beds are less than queen size. Was told that the bigger room is only available after Night 1, wanted to pay for upgrade but was told to pay full price instead of top up. In the end, I made another booking and end up was given the family room and pay lesser than the original ‘top up’ amt.

Not the best value for money

Amazing location. Although caveat is that the hotel itself is in an alley easy to miss.

Rooms were extremely congested, rooms were not cleaned during our stay probably because one reception staff misled me about what I was supposed to do to get my room cleaned. He asked me for a date when the room should be cleaned, (which I gave him) and told me that rooms were not cleaned everyday, which I found odd. But I think the staff rely on the "Clean my room" magnetic signs that you can hang outside on your door. Also did not know what to expect with the staff on the reception. Some were friendly and cheerful, others a little busy with their own troubles, so I found it best to avoid them unless necessary.

Considering the price paid, the stay was satisfactory, but I wouldn't recommend it for a larger group.

The hotel's location and lobby were excellent, and the staff were friendly.

The accommodations showed signs of aging, and there was an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of kitchen oil, coming in from outside. The room size was a bit cramped for four people, though our discomfort was largely due to our misjudgment. I wouldn't recommend it for a group of four, but it could be suitable for a couple.

Good location, near to a lot of establishments and to major roads and stations. Room is just enough for 4 people

Great location

Location was fantastic. There were lots of restaurants and shops in the walking distance. The hotel building looked really cute from outside although the rooms were old and tiny. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

Great location in Osaka

This is a great, centrally located spot to stay in Osaka. While we were only there for one night, we were able to walk to many of the sights easily from the hostel, as well as bars, restaurants and great nightlife. I have an allergy to feathers and while the staff did not have any hypoallergenic options available, the staff did "make" a pillow for me out of a blanket and a pillowcase and brought up extra blankets for me to make sure I was comfortable.

A note here about the lack of hypoallergenic options - something to note to reach out to them far in advance if you have a specific need. Additionally, the room was really tiny...the smallest of our entire stay in East/South East Asia. But that said, if you don't plan to do much more than sleep in that space, it's a great option to stay in the heart of Osaka.
