The pub is very popular with plenty of parking. It is only a few miles from the Ribbleshead viaduct and the old station. The room was spacious as was the en-suite as well as being clean and tidy. The eveing meal was good as was the cooked breakfast.
There were no issues during our stay.

Staff really lovely, bedroom comfy and clean coffee & tea tray fantastic. We had an evening meal bit disappointing that few things off the menu but what we had was lovely. Breakfast bit of wait but we'll worth it piping hot and great produce. 2nd visit will definitely be back. Thankyou.

Lovely location, lovely staff, comfortable room, easy parking and free pub quiz to boot on a Monday night, which was fun. The menu was part of the Country Village Inn chain, which is more than reasonable. However, two gems were the excellent ham given in a light bites meal and the ice cream offered, which was the superb English Lakes variety. Breakfast was spot on with a good selection of full English and continental offerings. Maps on the wall were a nice touch as were the lovely complimentary Country Village Inn handmade shortbread biscuits. Well run operations. Compliments to all involved.
The only criticism I can make is that the room was clean with the exception of some attention to detail like light switches, dusty shelves and one or two not so clean cups and cutlery.

The breakfast was excellent, and cooked to order, being presented lovely and hot....how we like it!
The location of the Wheatsheaf is second to none for walkers, and families alike. Very friendly staff, and service.
Only quibble was that the shower cubicle was "snug".

Great location for our explore of Gordale Scar and Malham Cove in Yorkshire Dales NP. We enjoyed the pub downstairs for a yummy dinner and dessert plus breakfast the next morning.

The hotel is well situated for walkers and hikers in the Dales. It is also a good village pub. The beer is good and the atmosphere is all you would want from pub to use as a stopover. The staff are all friendly and seem to enjoy their work. The welcome was first class. The bedroom itself was clean and tidy with plenty of storage
Unfortunately the bathroom was not particularly clean and the shower not forceful. My biggest complaint was the food,, if they lost their frying pan they would not have been able to serve anyone, , we could not find anything on the menu that was either fried or microwaved. Breakfast was no better. The overall look of the hotel was a bit run down. Jjust needed a lick of paint to help it look more presentable.

Lovely room, very comfortable and stylish. Great service from all staff.
Only thing that would’ve improved the stay would’ve been air con in the room, but there was a fan.
