Soggiorno stupendo

Casa molto accogliente, pulita, in pieno centro. Il proprietario ci ha fatto trovare l occorrente per la colazione, la cucina era perfettamente attrezzata ed in bagno c ‘era tutto l occorrente, saponi e phon.

Perfect, comfy & clean

Booked for an overnight for a family event close by & it was exactly what we needed. Lovely space & very clean. Excellent value for money & central for amenities. Rooms were spacious & very comfy beds!

Comfortable apartment in Central Dumfries

Lovely clean, spacious and warm flat. Plenty of condiments in the kitchen. Also bread, coffee, tea and milk supplied. The beds were very comfortable. Lovely lounge with huge TV and 2 large sofas. Table and chairs with 6 chairs in the flat. Lots of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, crockery and glasses supplied. Easy to find rubbish bins outside the flat.

There was only one shelf in the oven which would have made it a bit difficult to cook more than one thing at a time in the oven. The shower head couldn’t be adjusted easily.

lovely peaceful area of Scotland, within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh and all their attractions. Dumfries itself,

Overnight stay - perfect for what we needed

Good location - parking was on the street but didn't see the parking permits till the following morning as we arrived extremely late but the owners had made all the beds in readiness which was greatly appreciated along with the essentials in the fridge which was very kind.

Parking permits needed to be more visible. We didn't notice them when we arrived, due to the lateness, until the following morning but not a deal breaker as had to be up early so hopefully no fines!

The apartment was very clean. A selection of books, DVDs and cards were available. Very comfortable with large sitting area and 2 large bedrooms. Having milk butter bread and eggs available was appreciated

The apartment was lovely and very comfortable,everything was catered for and owner was very helpful all the way through,we were there for a family wedding and it was so near to the event,I certainly would recommend it.

It was very much like home from home. All amenities were available. Very clean and to contact the owners were very easy.

I has a little trouble putting the key into the lockbox when I was leaving, but having contacted the owners it all got very quickly sorted.

Good budget accommodation for short stay

convenient, clean, inexpensive. nice touch to leave basic foodstuffs. convenient free parking so did not use parking disc provided.

some of the kitchen equipment was rather old and could be upgraded.

Great location. Spacious and clean. Perfect from families / couples.

Good communication from hosts. Easy instructions for getting the key and information about parking. Apartment is spacious, clean and well kept. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. Great location too. Would definitely stay again.

Very good apartment, loved the thought of providing bread, milk etc.

TV doesn’t work that well. The remote may need new batteries. Also no point in supplying lots of DVDs as there is no DVD player.

Comfy beds and a very practical location

The location was excellent. A lovely view of St Michael's Church and very close to shops. There was local parking available and the host helpfully left a welcome pack with milk and bread.

The table and chairs were extremely uncomfortable and with the sofa bed in use, there was little space to move in the sitting room. The TV was huge and could have been hung on the wall to free up more space. The front door needs additional locks: we were told that the neighbour was a drug addict and would have felt more secure.

The apartment was clean but tired. Average rather than superior . This rating for 2 staying.

Breakfast mediocre. Location okay. Superior not an apt description..

Originally we had booked for 5 but 3 of our party could not make it. It was definitely not suitable for 2 couples and a child as there was nowhere to sit down. Cleanliness of bedding etc to be complemented..

A reasonable stop for one night.

Self catering. Apartment was spacious, and bedrooms large.

Fairly difficult to find. Found the Jean Armlur statue easily, but the apartment pointed to the back of the statue. I would not consider the location as ' central'. A map of eating places, directions to the Town centre would have been helpful.

Really comfortable beds, cleanliness, food very kindly left for our stay. Close to the town. Would definitely recommend this place. Good communication too.

Traffic noise was bad but only in peak times. The seagulls were very noisy but that's nobody's fault.

Good place to stay when visiting the nearby 7Stanes sites

Excellent instructions to arrive, spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Shops nearby. Good location to visit the nearby 7Stanes MTB locations. Host kindly provided essentials including bread. Recommend the nearby restaurant "The Crumb" (booking essential)
