AWFUL not worth £69 I have paid £20 in a YHA and had a lovely clean bed and great stay.

I paid £10 more for this room than the previous guest house which gave me a double bed white clean linen 6 pillows of quality an ensuite bathroom and breakfast. LSO guest house was filthy carpet bed linen old duvet nasty one pillow, carpet dirty, surfaces dirty, bathroom shared with the room next door. No breakfast - AND I HAD LITTLE BROWN BUGS AND ANTS CRAWLING ALL OVER THE BED, DUVET AND PILLOW. I tried to stray and clean them up but i could not lie down to sleep. I left at 1:30 am and drove the 4 hours back home to England. Awful and very noisy from the pub downstairs.

Location Host Spacious room.

Too many lirtle faults Unattractive, dirty entrance..Faulty tv controls, Faulty door lock. Toilet paper shortage. Double glazing of windows no longer sealed. Curtain useless. I know this is rated as 3 stars but.........

Everything in the room apart from the T.V very old. Decor awful. Cushions on bed very uncomfortable and need replaced as all lumpy. Bed squeeked every time you moved. Wallpaper hanging off ceiling, damp in corner of room near windowin bedroom. Windows dirty. Curtains stained. Bathroom was a mish mash, poorly decorated and maintained. Not worth £99 at all. Is a £50 room at the most.

Superb

Staff member greeted us upon arrival and provided us with extra coffee and milk and some bedding for the dog. Bed was really comfy and the bar downstairs was friendly and good for dogs.

Only thing I didn't like was the noise from the road in the morning. It wasn't too loud but I would have preferred not to hear it.

Do not stay here!

No breakfast, room stank of air freshener, no hot water for the 3 days i was there, there is no staff on site to talk to, no toilet paper in the communal bathroom, extremely poor hotel!

The place was dirty, food left in cupboards from previous guests, a complaint was made but nothing was done. The place is dated and the management terrible. When a complaint was made to booking.com the manager said the room was left dirty when it was in fact dirty on arrival and a video made to prove it. It was also very overpriced. AVOID!!!!

Cheap and cheerful, but could have done without the other 'guests' in the room.

Great location very near to the train station. Member of staff was very friendly and clear on facility locations and checkout process.

Room 32, a couple of fairly severe issues that are the main reason for the overall score: 1. cold water pressure for the in-room sink was poor and stopped entirely at some point in the evening, 2. caught half a dozen bed bugs on the bed closest to the window (see photo) although neither bed showed visible signs of infestation and neither guest appeared to suffer from bites overnight.

Had to book at short notice, grateful to find somewhere to stay, reception stayed open for us

We were able to bring our dog into our room at short notice. Big room and space for us all.

The red walls could be toned down. Hall smelt of smoke despite notices not to smoke. It was very warm.

Avoid at all costs. If the owners think this is acceptable, what are their hygiene levels at.

The exit

It was dirty, sheets dirty, peeling paint, ceiling half papered, sticky carpet and very basic for the price. I would not want to pay even £10 to stay there again and goodness knows what bugs I’ve picked up in my luggage.

Absalutly nothing to like about this place. We didn't stay walked out within 30 minutes. Toilet was filthy with no hot water.

Nothing to like, dirty, smelly, it gives the impression it's an inn with a log fire, it's not this is a doss house for homeless ppl.

Cleanliness. I have no idea why a reputable company like booking.com has a hotel like this on it's site. The room and shared faciliities were filthy, slept on top of the bed fully clothed.

The cleanliness of this place was shocking. Everything was ingrained in filth, nothing had been cleaned for a long time. The bedding smelled nasty and my friend and I who also had a single room slept on top of the bed.

Actual room was cold. Heater didn't work Shower head wouldn't stay im holder. No hot water in morn. Noise from nxt door in middle of night and usage of shared bathroom noise was not acceptable
