Beware of Dining Room. Overt Racism .. non advertised partition of buffet based on honors#

The desk staff were nice and courteous along with the cleaning staff. Who did a wonderful job keeping our room tidy, and well stocked with the extra towels we asked for.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with our recent dining experience at your hotel. On the first morning of our stay, our friend went down for breakfast ahead of us and was told she couldn't sit in the main dining area. Instead, she was seated at a table just outside of it. When we arrived and provided our room number, we were informed of the same policy. During the booking process on Booking.com, it was indicated that a 15% discount on food and beverages was available to guests, applicable to all food and drink at the property. Upon our arrival in the dining area, the waitress informed us that we could not use the buffet and directed us to order from a separate menu. The following day, we were presented with our bills before even receiving our food. This was peculiar, as none of the other tables had been treated this way. My wife found this offensive and addressed the issue with the manager on duty. My wife and her friend are African American, and I'm white. The whole thing really came off racist The manager acknowledged the mistake and apologized, assuring us that 10,000 honor points would be added to her account and that we would be allowed to access the entire buffet for rest of our stay which we did but felt uncomfortable after the whole ordeal Unfortunately, we were apparently lied to by the manager, and we have yet to receive the 10,000 honor points promised for the disrespectful treatment we received. We have stayed at many Hilton properties and have never encountered this treatment, and we have a very bad taste in our mouths for future bookings with Hilton. Also, The Hotel and Booking.com need to do a better job informing clients of how the dining room and it's continental breakfast / hot buffet work and is billed . Booking.com makes it sound like it's just a dining area where you'll receive 15 off your bill booking thru them. When in reality there is 3 different options. 1.

Die gute Lage, dass man sehr viel zu Fuß erreichen kann. Buffet war ausreichend. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal.

Wir waren 5 Tage da und es gab keinen Kleiderschrank, in dem man die Kleidung rein legen konnte. Nur 2 kleine Schubladen für die Wäsche.

Great, would definitely be back

The location was perfect and accessible! We walked to a majority of the city’s touristy spots and restaurants. The staff were so courteous, kind and well mannered!

The blankets seemed a bit thick compared to the air conditioning in place! Made it a bit warm!

Excellent accomodation with generous extras

Room was spacious and very clean. Nice to have coffee pods as well. Staff very friendly and let us check in early as we just came off a cruise. Really appreciate that. Thank you 🙏🏻

Clean, new and modern hotel in a great location.

Hotel is in a great location just 10 minutes walk to Barangaroo restaurants and the waterfront. Nice and new and clean, small hotel. Everything was as it should be however, the rooms and bathroom are quite small. I would recommend this hotel only for someone wanting to sleep or for work, not the sort of hotel where you'd have a romantic break away with a luxurious spacious room. Parking was across the road in Wilson park for $50 per day.

Drop off. Unlike some of the bigger chains, there is nowhere to park and drop your bags - no pull-in area. You are left either to go across to Wilson Parking and trundle your bags through the multi-story carpark and across the busy road (which is what we did) or if you're super lucky there might be a parking spot on the road (unlikely).

Rude staff and highly inconvienienced

Rooms were clean

I had requested an interconnecting room/ rooms on the same floor upon booking several weeks before attending and after arriving, we were greeted with very judgemental impolite staff who initially stated there was only one room then once realising there was a second, put us on seperate floors nowhere near each other. They said they were booked out even though online it was not booked out. We had to wait an hour and a half for a single serving of fries and once again dealt with rude staff. There were also minor inconviniences such as waiting for the salad we ordered for forty minutes and then being told it was unavailable as well as only having robes in one room then asking staff for robes in the other, being treated in a judgemental manner. I booked this for my birthday and as I am younger I felt as though I was treated as less important.

Bed was harder than concrete. For the money the amenities were below par. Some 3 ply toilet paper wouldn’t go astray. Room was small. Room service was non existent. $40 a head Breakfast was terrible.

If the bed was actually comfortable, this would have been close to perfect.

The location was good, staff very professional and helpful and the breakfast each morning was full of variety, well presented and tasty. There were also nice touches to make you feel welcome, like gifts to acknowledge lunar new year.

The bed was really uncomfortable with a massive dip on one half of the mattress and lumpiness on the other half. Very hard to get comfortable. Also the air conditioning in my room was not consistent. Finally room service menu choices were very limited.

Great stay at a lovely hotel.

Beautiful appointment in room. Very comfortable bed. View of the freeway which was perfect for us as we watched our son compete in the Sydney Marathon and he ran right past our window. Very exciting! The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting all areas of the city. Darling Harbour just moments away and easy walk to George Street and everything in the central tourist areas.

Nothing all great. I couldn't fault our stay at the hotel. There is no valet parking option but the carpark is right across the street. We didn't dine at the hotel so can't comment on food but the restaurant/cafe looked lovely.

Nothing, it was a horrible experience.

Everything. The staff were rude, I was over charged than they advised they’d refund it and I was than double charged again. We had a random man walk into our room with a key and when I contacted the front desk they hung up on me.
