Oasis of calm and peace by the sea

Exceptional location by the river mouth of Piedras and the sea! An oasis of calm offering a unique opportunity to be in contact with nature. We stayed in the maloka (cabin) literally by the sea with stunning views. Accommodation very comfortable and we loved the fact there is no television so one can truly disconnect.

Bellissimo hotel a Los Naranjos a 5 minuti di macchina dall'entrata del Parco Tayrona. Situato su una scogliera che da un lato si affaccia al mare mentre dall'altro sul fiume che sfocia nel mare.. Ottima e raffinata la cucina gustata in una terrazza in comune con vista mare, camera meravigliosa , bagno privato, aria condizionata e lenzuola di ottima qualita'....E' una struttura dove ti puoi rilassare osservando la bellezza della natura.. personale molto gentile.... Beautiful location

The view from the room was exceptional, and the open to the sea was a unique experience.

The bed was too small, in our particular room, but I don’t think all were like this. The stairs down the the private bathroom were tricky at night!

Nice location but other things let it down for the price

Location fabulous, fantastic views, but cabanas quite basic

.. photos don't show it the photo attached review is taken from the door of the room .. that's it ! . The only photo of a room on booking.com is a room somewhere else .. Bed was on a platform with steep steps, nowhere to put a phone or glass of water near bed, no hot water in room, oh and you could open the locked door by putting your hand round the frame as the cabana is completely open in the front. restaurant menu limited and food very average , last night's prawns overcooked and steak tough, but eating in this is only option as nowhere else near.

Encanto in Tayrona-a Dream Hotel

the stay was exceptional, from a movie like room, and 6am yoga with the sunrise , to a pool in the middle of the forest and exquisite menu all day long. you can visit the partner hotels and spend the day, transport service to airport and tayrona, wild life everywhere around you. we stayed 7 days and would have stayed other 7.

Casi una constante en todas las propiedades de la zona es la falta de agua caliente. El ruido del mar es muy intenso. Dan tapones para los oídos. Fueron muy útiles

Sehr nettes Personal, aber kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Sehr freundliches und engagiertes Personal, das sich umgehend um unsere Anliegen gekümmert hat. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und hat gut geschmeckt und man konnte zwischen verschiedenen Frühstücksmenüs auswählen. Die Lage und Aussicht vom Hotel war super.

Wie hatten zunächst ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett direkt am Meer gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, es gab kaum Stauraum für unser Gepäck und da das Fenster direkt zum Meer hin geöffnet ist kamen nachts unzählige kleine Insekten in das Zimmer, die zwar nicht gestochen haben aber dennoch sehr unangenehm waren und alle Oberflächen übersät haben. Das Personal sagte uns dass die Insekten aktuell (unsere Reisezeit war Januar) aktiv sind, vielleicht ist es zu einer anderen Reisezeit besser. Das Bett war gemütlich, jedoch war das Moskitonetz umständlich anzubringen und hat beim Schlafen gestört. Einmal im Bett gab es keine Ablagefläche mehr, auf der man z.B. das Handy ablegen könnte. Am nächsten Morgen war alles etwas klamm vom Meer und die Insekten lagen tot auf den Oberflächen. Wir konnten am nächsten Tag glücklicherweise das Zimmer wechseln und sind ins Landesinnere gezogen. Zu guter Letzt ist der Raum nur etwas für Schwindelfreie, da das Bett eine Art Schwebebett war, das Geländer gefühlt sehr klein und der Eingang zum Raum hin ebenfalls Vorsicht bedarf, damit man aus dem Zimmer nicht rausfällt. Für uns kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Bei der Wahl des richtigen Zimmer ein unvergesslich schönes Erlebnis.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Unterkünfte im Haupthaus (Malokka) sind sehr schön. Das Essen ist hervorragend und die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist unglaublich.

Wir hatten die „Zimmer mit Meerblick“ gebucht. Diese sind nicht empfehlenswert, da sie vollkommen offen (starker Regen erreicht sogar das Bett) und durch die permanente Brandung sehr laut sind. Auch darf man dort keine Höhenangst haben, da nur eine kleine Brüstung das Zimmer vor dem Abgrund in 10 Meter Höhe schützt. Wir waren dem engagierten Personal (vor allem Erika) sehr dankbar, dass wir nach der ersten unruhigen Nacht das Zimmer wechseln konnten. Auch ist zu beachten, dass im November aufgrund der starken Strömung nicht an den umliegenden Stränden gebadet werden kann.

This is a beautiful well kept place.

The location was perfect. Right on the beach and next to the river. The staff were helpful and friendly the property is kept clean and in good order.

The restaurant has a limited selection and the food, although good, was not as good as the sister property next door. I can eat at the other property for lunch or dinner if you make a reservation. The bar was okay but it seems like you have to pay for your alcoholic drinks separately. (in the bar) This is a bit inconvenient. In my experience, one can give their room number and just have it charged to the room.

3 nights in.paradise

We stayed 3 nights in one of the lovely cabanas and enjoyed every minute of it. Such an extraordinary location right above the crushing waves! Surprisingly there were no mosquitos or other creatures in the cabana, probably due to the steady winds. The included breakfast was very nice, with ample choice. Dinners were tasty, with a large selection of dishes incl..vegetarian. Service was impeccable.

The cabanas offer only one type of bed (1 double bed). Not ideal if travelling w a friend.

Paradise!

Amazing experience spending the night in an open hut right in front of the ocean, and waking up to the sound of the waves! The staff is very kind and the restaurant is delicious, we had all our meals there and it was not a problem because we had so many options to try. Breakfast is delicious and you also have many options to choose from. I highly recommend this place!

The only downside is that we didn't have the opportunity to try the spa because it was completely booked when we arrived there. If you want to enjoy a massage I suggest you book your time in advance.

The location and the style of accommodation

Bathroom & bedroom on different levels which we didn’t spot when booking. Also, steps up to bed a bit irksome. The balustrade on the balcony seemed very flimsy from a health & safety perspective. All other areas very pleasant.

Superb

Wonderful location of the hotel in nature. Guests enjoy the company of parrots and many flowers. The beach is great but not recommended for swimming as there are big waves. For surfers it is very good. The food in the restaurant was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented.

When we checked in, I asked about any activities, but it turned out that the hotel does not offer any. River canoes or boats may be available.Surf rental...etc. When you book a room, you have to ask about hot water, because our cottages on the coast, next to the beach, had no hot water at all. You should be prepared for the loud noise of the sea because there are no windows. Personally, I really liked it, but my friends slept with earplugs :)

the location is just amazing. I had an open air cabin on the shore and every night I fell asleep to the sound of waves. the food is just amazing! the staff is nice and there is also the possibility to book a massage.

only cold water to shower. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here (in a cabin) during the wet season.

Beautiful. Tranquil. Remote feeling.

The location is perfect if you want to be on the water but not swim. The staff is great and it feels like a private property but not stuffy and arrogant like some nice places. Staff is kind and considerate.

Nothing really. Just too dangerous to swim.
