The hotel facilities were very pleasant. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a nice shower and a balcony. The bed was also nice and comfortable. Service was good and staff did a good job. Air conditioning worked very well (and we needed it for the summer heat).
The location. Despite seemingly in a great location, it just did not work for me. The hotel was hard to access even using our rental car. There is no easy or practical way to access the beach by walking given the hotel is on the highway and you would need to cross it every time. We had to use the car every time. In addition, the proximity to the road made it a bit noisier in the room but not particularly bad.

This was the worst hotel experience I ever had! Super unfriendly staff, not helpful, Wi-Fi did not work in room, they charged extra for getting the room at 1pm! Even though it was ready and I could not sleep at all! Because it is directly next to highway and soo loud!

The bed was fine and the AC worked pretty well after awhile. It was convenient to the major highway, and had off street parking that seemed safe. Although the staff spoke little English, they were patient with the fact that we speak little Spanish, and were not short with us or impolite. The safe actually worked, which we have found to be unusual in this State. The hotel was clean and overall nice in appearance, but was not actually functional.
we thought that we had booked a king room with an ocean view, but were originally given an interior room with twin beds. They failed to tell us that the hotel had NO WATER SERVICE (no running water, no toilets, no showers) until after we paid our bill for three nights. They said that the city was doing work in the water lines, and they could not tell us when it might be restored…maybe the next day, maybe not. We were too tired to look for another hotel that night after driving over the mountains from Oaxaca City that day, so decided to sleep there and we booked another hotel for the duration. They moved us to a room with a king bed and a supposed ocean view (in the second floor with peaks of the ocean around buildings) “at no extra charge”. The room was extremely noisy from road traffic, and we would have had a hard time sleeping if we had not brought earplugs. We asked that they at least bring us more bottled water, which they never did. After we had gone to sleep that night, we got a call from them telling us we could now use water. We left the hotel a bit after noon the next day to move to our new hotel, as we had already paid for it. They told us that we would not a refund from them, that we would need to ask Bookit. It is also worth noting that the pool had scum on it, that we were told that we could not use it unless we showered first (which we could not do, obviously), and there was nobody manning the spa or bar. The on-site restaurant was defunct. The hotel seemed to be a previously nice place in a spiral of decline, which is sad for them. That said, I would recommend avoiding it until these serious issues are resolved.

close to the beach
sheets were dirty, torn, only one roll of toilet pepper, shampoo was empty, the balcony wasn’t clean (someone left a diaper on the balcony ), the AC was dripping water on our belongings and the bed.

We liked the Skyview pool area.
Really disappointed that the wifi does not work in all rooms and that the TV had no cable functioning - the staff seemed like the no cable was the standard situation.
The pool and the glass surrounding the pool needs serious cleaning.
The majority of the hotel staff did not speak English even though it was reported that way. We used Google translate at check in and when we had questions that day. At check out time no receipt was offered nor available when asked. After we checked out and asked for the. receipt did people who spoke English appear but they could not help.
The hotel had the bare minimum for a room but nothing special. For example it had a shower but no hot. water!
The patio area was dirty and used by pigeons.
The patio door did not lock - the lock was gone! Good thing it was a busy street - so less likely someone could break in!
We paid a premium for the studio patio. What a joke!
The Skyview pool area was nice but the person working there was very disinterested- music kept at loud volume even after we asked twice and we were the only guests at the area!
This is no spa! nor a hotel by Canadian standards!

Comfiest bed ever! Great hotel, lovely room, hot water and the wifi is decent for the area. Road is a bit noisy but didn't bother me - about a 8-10 minute walk to the best beach in puerto. Would definitely come back :)

Everything was great, the staff helped us and was very attentive, the room if comfortable and everything worked great, the bed is comfy although the pillows could use an upgrade
Just a couple of things, the shower has no pressure so it was really hard to bath, and our room was at the 3rd floor directly below the pool, in the mornings there was a lot of noise i imagine from the pool maintenance
9.0
- the room
- the infinite pool on the rooftop
- the location
- wifi not working properly everywhere
- the cleaning service not done, not putting water bottle after cleaning
- the shower can be better in terms of water management (heating + pressure)
9.0
- The location
- The room
- The view from the room/rooftop directly at the beach Zicatela
- The infinite pool on the rooftop
- Wifi is not working properly depending on the room you have
- You need to pay extra if you want to checkin before 3 pm
- It takes time to take your shower as the water can take a while to warm and the water pressure is low

The location and the room was very comfortable, it has AC and tv.
The cleaning lady opened my room once when I was inside. She didn't knock
Also the sheets and pillows smelled like moisture

Great price at restaurant friendly people at the lobby, the hotel don't let people in that they aren't costumers, Wich make me feel safe
The Suite had the curtain's in a bad condition, the towels weren't change one day, the bathroom sink wasn't wiped,, en the glass door looks tht wasn't clean often.
2.0
the pool was very nice, as were the beds
the fact that the walls were dirty, the ac didnt work, the bathroom sink wasnt even attatched so the sink poured all over the floor, the water was heavily sulphuric, the staff mocked other renters, cant use the pool after 9 pm, breakfast wasnt worth attending, and no restaurant outside of breakfast. the have a partnership with a restaurant a couple of miles away with a complementary drink(accessible only with a wristband that they only gave one of us so the other wasnt able to have a complimentary drink. we asked if we could get a refund and leave, Which they denied as we had already checked in, though we were never offered to see the room first

Modern boutique style, a shirt walk to the beach.
I recommend management to train the staff a bit more in costumer service and to clean the pool regularly.

A nice hotel
the rooftop pool was green, the windows from the pool were very dirty
9.0
the room was really comfortable with the AC and big windows facing the street. the bed was gigantic and very comfortable.
the bathroom had a slight smell of sewage.
9.0
very good location, everything very clean and the employees at the reception always willing to help.
2.0
Breakfast was good, made at the moment, the location is also okey.
The staff did NOT respect the prices and upgrades from booking.com
There is NO COLD WATER and the weather in Puerto Escondido is always above 38 degrees Celsius so if you are expecting to get a fresh shower after a long day under the sun is NOT POSSIBLE. The staff claims that EVERYONE takes hot showers in the HOT weather.
The water from the shower also SMELLED like dirt.
The change of room was not made by the staff and the shower was not fixed in the whole stay. They JUST DID NOT CARE :(
3.0
very loud on the main road.
7.9
The view from the rooftop is very good! And the staff is excellent. All in all, pretty ok for a 3 star hotel in Mexico. Thank you!
Needs a renovation. Fungus smell in bathroom.
7.0
super clean, they're always cleaning the place
cute rooftop, spent time working there
feels fairly new hotel
i liked the location cuz its far away from the loud music but walkable to the beach, bars, market
Fairly cheap too
the breakfast was actually very good. i had breakfast twice there (loved the entomatada) and its pretty cheap for what you're getting with it
the "rain" showers barely gave any water, i basically struggled to shower
smelly washrooms from sewers
not the greatest wifi or even signal

Nice place and practical. Staff is very keen on you having a pleasant stay. The bar should open until midnight (at least) Nice view from the pool!
A little expensive compared to the near hotels in town.
8.0
Really nice hotel with very accommodating staff and great facilities. They even offered towels for the beach, which we thought was wonderful. Great value compared to other places around.
It’s a small point, but the room was a bit damp.
2.0
Comfortable bed
The staff at the reception was rude, especially the lady, which barely knows English and is very aggressive. Room cleaning services was not the best, somedays they just didn’t show up. location is very suspect and on the main road.
2.0
Location was so so, right in front of the main road, but walking distance to the beach. still, you will have hard time to cross road a walk by dusty road
The room had no street windows, the smell of cockroaches in the bathroom. for 100 dollars - room were small. stuff was so slow with check-in, and force us to pay in cash.
just not a nice place to stay, expensive but simple.

Comfy beds and good view of the main road. Wasn't alot of sea view but you could see some water
We arrived to a really dirty room, the beds were made but the room was dirty. We asked them to clean it and they did. It was still very dirty. Some of the staff were nice tho
