The location is amazing, across from the old city. Walking distance from Gugenheim Museum and funicular. The contact free access is intimidating at first, but it works. Parking is available but only for smaller cars. Great restaurants all around. Meeting the friends in the city, we appreciated a big living room where we could socialise. Nice big kitchen with everything you need. Usually, in other apartments on our travel in Spain, we were greeted with snacks and wine, and coffee was available at least for first day, too, but nothing in this apartment.
Only superficial clean. We asked for a flashing light to be replaced, but they didn't manage in 4 days.

The view is great and the location can't be beat, right on the river and very close to old town, tram stop, etc.
Be aware that the apartment is old and worn and shows its age. Weird flickering lights, problems with the toilet, old furniture, a loud water heater, and just a general sense of things being kind of old and worn out. We also had problems with the electronic/electric door lock which a couple times would not open leaving us feeling locked in. In reality there was another door that you could open from the inside (to leave) with one of the keys, and it also was possible but difficult to turn the locking mechanism by hand with this weird dial. But it was very disconcerting to have a lock that didn't work some of the time from the inside. Also the lack of AC is unpleasant. Also both of the bathrooms have no windows and no fans, which is extremely annoying.

The location is absolutely great. Near the station, near the old town , 10
minutes from Guggenheim. Just ideal
Check out was a bit rigid about the time and no place to leave luggages

Location was excellent. Plenty of space. Right across the river from old town. Hosts were very nice.
The decor is vintage but not unexpected for an older property. However, I wish the kitchen was better stocked. There were a limited amount of glasses, mugs, plates, silverware.

Excellent location. clean and comfortable.

Location and view was good. Bed was comfy.
Friendly staff.
Pillow and towel was very well used. Incomplete kitchenware (pot handles were falling apart, pans in a bad state, no bread knife, kitchen knife, proper cups for coffee and juice in the morning.)
Heater wasn’t always on. Was told that heater is usually on from 6pm-1am, but we don’t have heater at 10pm. Landlord need to be reminded that heater is needed before heater is turned on.

Fantastic location and comfortable apartment with wonderful view.
The kitchen was not well equipped. The frying pans needed replacing and their was no spices not even salt or pepper.

Fantastic location, especially for exploring the old town

The location is the top selling point for this place. Along the river with a great view of the city passing by; just next to the bridge that connects the more modern part of the city with the old town. Just around the corner passes the very convenient tram that takes you to the mercado or the Guggenheim if you don't feel like walking. (but both are perfectly walkable as well). Parking in the building, at this location is great. It was a bit pricy, but that's the only negative.
The appartment is spacious, the furniture pretty comfortable. Decoration in line with the appartment's age...
Beds were pretty comfy, although...
...the rooms are pretty small (two out of three are). The bedrooms give out on a typical central patio. Other people in the building were very noisy; they talked loudly, and also nobody seemed to have mastered to open and close the blinders without waking up the whole building. Kitchen was sufficient, but could be improved. (we only had breakfast; as in Bilbao you want to eat out. A lot! :) )
All in all, I recommend!

Wonderful property! 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. Elegant place.
Maybe give a password vs. bar code on phone. One person lost the connection.

Fabulous location! Delightful interiors! Quiet, comfortable beds and pillows. Kitchen nicely furnished and the salon was relaxing.
Older home with few outlets for charging the tech, but the wifi was fast.

The property ticked all the usual requirements: it was clean, safe, quiet (despite its location) and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Location is excellent: the Old Town is just across the river; the New Town at the back; and a delightful river walk all the way to the Guggenheim and beyond. Restaurants, culture sites and bars are all to hand. It is a very walkable city though, if you are going to use public transaport a lot, then invest in a Barik card to save on costs.
Where and when to collect the keys was the biggest issue we faced. We did not know, despite several chase-ups, what the meeting arrangements were until just over 24 hours before arrival at the property, when our contact made himself known. This is not enough time in advance. Travel is stressful enough without having to chase up meeting arrangements just the day before travel. Much better and earlier information required. Our contact also had to rush off after a brief introduction so as to let other clients into their apartments. Perhaps, they need extra feet on the ground. The apartment is quite dark, understandably in order to impede the sun's warmth, though the lounge is bright, with a great view over the river and trhe Old Town

The flat is in perfect conditions. Definitely worth it, very traditional with wooden floors and perfectly kept. Very clean, all utensils needed were provided (towels, shampoo, kitchen stuff…).
The staff made it super easy to find the place and arrange the delivery of the keys. The location and views from the living room are unique. Highly recommendable as it is a flat that kept the “essence” of a traditional flat in Bilbao.
