Nice stay !

- The staff is nice - The room was clean and comfortable - Good location at 5 minutes from the pier to the park

- the hotel is literally next to a mosque so you can hear the call to prayer, but they give you earplugs

Merci Norman pour ta gentillesse !

Norman, le gérant est adorable ! Et il donne plein de conseils, hésitez pas à lui poser des questions. Il y a un petit déjeuner gratuit le matin, très pratique. Les équipements sont pas mal : frigo à disposition, café, boule quies (pour le bruit du bar à côté)... il y a des tables dans le jardin pour se poser c'est très cool. L'emplacement est proche des restaurants.

Seul bémol, le matelas et les oreillers étaient très durs, donc pas très confortables.

Personnel très gentil et souriant. Câlins du félin de la famille en prime! Le petit balcon donnant sur le jardin était très chouette aussi.

Quiet near town center

Quiet space except during calls to prayer. Speaker from mosque next door is very loud. I got used to it, and found it ok after a day or two. Having balcony was great, but with doors closed room was very dark.

Trick to hot water for shower is to use after sun has warmed water so around 2pm I got lots of hot water. In the mornings or at night cold showers.

Nice Guesthouse with lovely hosts

Very nice Guesthouse with some lovely hosts, I very much recommend it:)

No AC so it was quite warm in the room but otherwise everything was perfect

Pleasant

Location, price and design

Too hot and a bit noisy due to it's proximity to the prayers, but that's just the normal thing given the area. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay 🤗

Nicely located friendly guesthouse

Nice option to stay at. Mosquito net well maintained, nicely maintained guesthouse, owner gives a lift to the bus station if you book minivan through him. Nice view of forest from the balcony

The property is very close to the mosque! As long as you can get back to sleep easily it’s ok and earplugs were provided which is a very nice thought! Could provide filtered water to reduce plastic bottles. Since Jan 2023 there are less trails in the park open to explore without a guide (which must be arranged in town). This was a shame but nothing to do with the guesthouse.

Nice retreat in the jungle

Decent accommodation in Kuala Tahan. It's near the river, where you cross over to the jungle. There is a lot of space around the property and it's quiet. There's large water bottles you can buy from them for only 2RM.

Would have been nice to have a warm shower, but wasn't a big deal.

The owners are super friendly! The room is really cute with a small balcony. The clamboo works good. Bed was great! Price quality is perfect

Bathroom is a bit small and uncomfortable. This place is next to a mosque. We didnt mind but you will wake up early haha.

Would stay again!

Colorful, friendly and easy to find. Shuttle to the bus when leaving, so no need to carry the luggage :)

When you open up the balcony doors, people in the garden can see nearly the whole room. There are hardly any people passing by but still not felt comfortable with this as normally I wear only underwear when I am alone in my room.

Exceptional

Fantastic stay in Taman Negara. Rooms clean, host lovely and a 5min walk into the little village. Would definitely recommend and stay again, great value for money.

quiet place with nice upstairs view over garden. family are very humble but to the point they tend not to engage. they will help with everything you ask them for though. morning mosque prayer seems to be a very scintillating voice, but the others are somewhat grating. prayers are short.

Superb

Same comment as previously. Everything was perfect and the place is beautiful and well decorated. You can leave your bags while trekking in the jungle. I do recommend it !!

Beautiful place, beautiful rooms, beautiful gardens !!! A nice homestay run by nice family. They allowed us to leave our bags at their place while we were trekking in the jungle. The room is confortable and bathroom is basic, has just what you need. Perfect location for a perfect journey.

Friendly, helpful family run place. Great decor! Just far enough from the centre to feel the peace. Don't be put off by the fact that it's next door to the mosque....the muezzin's call to prayer is short and sweet.

Good, basic accommodation

Good location, value accommodation, comfortable bed.

Once in bed, the fan does little to cool you down if using the mosquito net. Unable to organise guides through accommodation.
