Ocean and Coastline Views

Wake up to the sounds of the ocean and the warm tropical breezes as you begin your vacation in paradise. This ocean side, spacious 3 bedroom/ 3 bath, 2 story condominium offers non stop views from sunrise to sunset.

Hale Kai Okona 4 is beautifully decorated and welcoming. The main level offers a lovely living area that flows seamlessly to the ocean front lanai. A gorgeous teak table accommodates six guests ....enjoy meals.... watch the colors of the sunset....or appreciate the spectacular star gazing in the evenings.

The living area, with a wall of sliding glass doors, boasts comfortable seating options, and a large TV with a Bose speaker system. And once again those Ocean Views!

The kitchen / dining area provides an option for indoor dining. Gather 'round the teak dining table with seating for 4 or converse at the casual bar seating at the kitchen counter.

The well-appointed kitchen is furnished with cookware, and a variety of appliances for your comfort and culinary creations.

The main level offers a Guest Suite with en suite bath. This Suite can be configured as two twin beds or converted into a King Bed. Just let us know your preference. This lower level guest room also has a back door for optimal cross ventilation.

There are two additional Guest Suites on the upper level. The Master Suite faces the ocean with direct access to a private lanai. This upstairs lanai is a gracious get away with panoramic ocean views. Relax outside on the circular daybed or curl up with a good book in the Adirondack chairs. This spacious Master boast a California King Bed, comfortable seating, a television, a large en-suite bathroom with dual vanities, and a jetted tub with a separate standing shower.

The second upstairs Guest Suite, with en suite bath, has plenty of room for a California King Bed and a separate sitting area with television and its own separate air conditioning system.

All three bedrooms are connected to the central air conditioning system and have ceiling fans to allow for individual comfort throughout the home. This vacation home has a separate laundry room on the main level next to the Kitchen.

Begin your vacation at a nearby "secret beach" just a short 3 minute walk along the shoreline. This cove is often visited by sea turtles and provides a perfect setting for relaxation and swimming.

Hale Kai O'Kona is a quieter, private, 8 unit condominium complex, located on Alli Drive at the 2.5-mile marker, just north of the Living Stones Church. This vacation home is a perfect balance of ocean serenity and proximity to restaurants, shopping, galleries, and all the excitement of Alii Drive in Kailua Kona.

*There is 1 assigned parking stall for this condo. The visitor parking is for Owners only and strictly enforced with towing. There is street parking available but it's tight and not ideal.

Please be advised: Our properties require a three-night reservations deposit which is non-refundable 90 days prior to check-in. We then require the remaining rent due and non-refundable 90 days prior to check-in. During Festive Season our properties require a three-night reservations deposit which is non-refundable 120 days prior to check-in. We also require the remaining rent due and non-refundable 120 days prior to check-in.

In the event the reservation is canceled by the Guest for any reason, a 5% administrative fee will be withheld from all rental funds received at that time except in the instance of Force Majeure. Hawaii general excise tax GET (4.712%) and transient accommodations tax TAT (13.25%) are added to all rent and other charges received by the Owner. (17.96%)

Incredible location. The place was easy to get to and right on the water. Gorgeous sunsets from the patio(s) were incredible. It was clean, and spacious, and had just about everything we needed for a very successful vacation. There were a few dirty dishes, and the water was turned off in one of the bathrooms, but these were minor issues easily overcame. The host met us on check-in to make sure we got settled in and was very responsive anytime time we needed to reach out. The automatic gate for the parking area broke one of the days we were there and was operational by the next morning. There was parking outside the gate along the wall so not really a big deal. Overall, we really enjoyed the home, the location, and the amenities. We would rent here again for sure! Thank you!

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this facility. We have been in #1, #6, #7 and now #4. You can’t go wrong with any - if they are being rented. When I dream of going back to Hawaii (have been going for 30 years), this is the spot/view that I dream of. It just doesn’t get any better than this view. The townhouse was exactly as listed and the pictures were all very accurate. Very comfortable and, well stocked with everything you need. Great beach chairs, etc… and we left an umbrella for someone else to use. Quiet spot (except for the waves) with regular viewings of whales - in March. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants the best spot on the Big Island. We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property and our adventure on the big island, and would definitely return with our family! The 2 lanai’s were amazing for starting and ending each day and we ate every meal outside on the lower lanai 🌊🏝. We also appreciated all of the amenities that were included with the unit (beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc). We were concerned, at first, about the separate payment process direct through island resort properties, but rest assured it is legitimate and the team was very prompt and professional throughout the process. Even though there were a few dated aspects of the property (e.g A few older appliances and fixtures), it did not hinder our 5 star experience at all. We also really appreciated Tracy’s responsiveness, helpful tips and support throughout the stay as well. If there’s any doubt, know that this is a very special unit with A/C, central island location, spectacular sunsets and direct access to some beautiful lava tide pools and sea life 🐢🦀🐚🌅
