This newly remodeled condo is a pure delight. Enjoy sweeping ocean views from the kitchen, living room, dining room, and primary bedroom. With tasteful Hawaiian artwork throughout and an ever-present ocean breeze, being in this home is a constant reminder of how truly magnificent Hawaii Island is.
When entering the home, you find yourself in an open formatted living and dining room area. With plenty of seating space for the whole family, enjoy looking out at the ocean or flip on the smart TV to watch your favorite show.
Flowing directly from the living room is the newly renovated kitchen. Complete with ample storage space and all of the gadgets one could need, it is the perfect spot to put together a small meal or a gourmet feast. We enjoyed our stay at this property which was just like advertised. We especially like that it was right on the ocean, slept every night with windows open falling asleep to the peaceful sound of ocean waves and relaxing comfort of the ocean breeze

We had a great time here! We enjoyed the beautiful ocean view in the mornings and evenings and the sunsets. Close to manta ray viewing location. The master bedroom has great views and air conditioning. Kids did complain about the car noise. Guest rooms only have fans. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect fit for our family. The kids loved playing in the tidal pools just in front of our building. Parking was great. Beautiful view and enjoyed waking up each day to watch the surfers. Very clean.

Our ocean view & small beach was great! We enjoyed watching surfers.Loved the ocean breeze & sunset was awesome. Liked watching the tide pools which had some turtles, yellow fish & lots of crabs running about. A turtle visited our beach for a short rest & dolphins could be seen from balcony. Unfortunately the noise on the street side made it hard to sleep. Talking at all hours & traffic noise. Would be nice to have quiet zone as people on street don't
realize how loud they are. The condo was very clean & comfortable beds.

The condo is super clean, very nice, and has the most amazing views. Beds were comfortable and kitchen has most everything you could need. Watching the surfers every morning while eating breakfast was awesome too. We also loved that one of the bedrooms had twin beds for our kids. Great location as well, not far from the airport or any shopping needing done. Would stay here 100 times over!

This unit was nicely decorated, had super comfortable beds, provided coolers for picnic lunches on the go. I would highly recommend. Not sure how recently it was renovated as cracks in shower tile and rust on cabinet hinges were visible. Several outdoor grills need maintenance as most have 1 or more burners out of order. Back of both bathroom doors are dirty or stained.

We had another great stay at Kona Bali Kai, this time with 3 generations of family members. This was our first time renting this unit and we found it just as pictured online. It was well stocked with appliances, kitchen basics and beach supplies! We had a few minor maintenance requests and were contacted by the property management company before we had a chance to reach out ourselves. They were very prompt in addressing our request!Overall we were very pleased and would definitely rent this unit again.Mahalo.

My friends and I loved this condo unit. Morning coffee on the lanai was actually one of the highlights of our trip. We could hear the gentle waves and sounds of people enjoying the small beach right below the unit. Watching the palm trees, birds, and surfers was very relaxing. Parking was a breeze and the unit was easily accessible. We also took advantage of the free bus (trolley) that made stops right across the street. There is a delicious poke place attached to these condos and a quaint coffee shop within walking distance.

The property was updated, clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location right on the water. There is a small clean beach area available below the unit to sit, sunbathe & watch waves come in. We enjoyed coffee while watching beautiful sunrises and early morning surfers. Parking was convenient too for our rental vehicle. It took about 30 min to and from the KOA airport. The kitchen was beautiful and we cooked in for several meals. Right down the street there was surfing lessons, lots of shopping and restaurants. We went out to the northern island area for hiking, zip line and horseback riding. The harbor is closer for boating excursions. Overall we had an epic vacation!

Everyday we set on the lanai and watched the waves, surfers, and just enjoyed the beauty of God's creation. This property was perfect for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with supplies needed for our trip, soap, trash bags, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent pods, pots, pans, baggies, basic seasonings salt, pepper, bath towels, pool towels.
We made one service call for batteries for the remote (we requested the wrong size) and replacement of a soiled towel. Management responded promptly. Neighbors were nice. Front desk was scarce. I would stay here again.

Not sure you can get any closer to the ocean without camping on the shore. If you want to hear the ocean waves at all times of the day, then this is the place. The condo was clean and just like the description. Worked perfect for our family of 5 and Grandma. It was conveniently located in Kona. We visited the whole island and it was no more than a 2 hour car ride (one direction) to the National Park, Hilo, Green Sand Beach & Black Sand Beach. Beach out front is a little lava rocky so bring water shoes. Loved the kitchens & grills to make some of our own meals each day. The road is a little noisy at night in the one room with twin beds without an air conditioner but that would not stop us from staying in this rental again.

This was a fabulous vacation stay. Our balcony looked over the ocean and we got to enjoy watching surfers every morning. There were turtles right below us an the beach only a walk down the stairs away.

We had a wonderful stay at this Bali Kai property. We were a party of six adults and there was plenty of room. The place was clean and well-appointed with towels and basic necessities. They even provided beach chairs and an umbrella, which came in very handy! It was also great to have a washer/dryer so we were able to pack fewer clothes.
We loved watching the surfers every morning from the lanai, and the sunsets were absolutely spectacular! We used the condo BBQ a couple of times to enjoy steak dinners with crashing waves as our backdrop. Truly breathtaking.
One of the three bedrooms did not have A/C, but the weather wasn't too hot in January, so it was just fine. This may be a consideration in the warmer months.
The property managers were very responsive to all our questions. Check-in was super easy which was great because we arrived after midnight due to flight delays.
I highly recommend this place!

Everything was perfect! We traveled with a group of six and the condo had plenty of space for us to socialize as a group and to find spots to get some alone time. Everything was easy, check in, out, and communication. We needed an extra parking pass and a different pan, both were provided quickly and easily. The condo was supplied with good quality basic supplies and plenty of towels. The unit was recently remodeled and its stunning its modern and beautifully decorated. Every morning I woke up to magnificent sounds of the waves and ended our evening to the sky showing its splendor with a sunset. You could literally walk onto the lanai or out to the back beach and be in paradise, you dont have to leave the condo grounds and have the perfect vacation. The beach is literally your back yard. The coral/rocks are sharp so be careful when walking swimming right out back. A couple things to be aware of is: you will walk up three flights of stairs, the elevator is on the other side of the complex so your option is the stairs or a long walk from elevator to unit. I was frustrated by this the first day, by the end I was grateful for all of it, including the stairs. I could never find the outside faucet to rinse off, but never asked. This unit is gorgeous, the view is magnificent, and the beach is your back yard.
