For the money we were happy with the Accommodations. The host was very helpful, a lot of towels were provided which was nice. Easy access and parking, quiet neighborhood.

Place was as advertised. It was a short walk to many restaurants and activities.

Location could not have been better or easier to walk into downtown at night for dinner and drinks. Corner lot with private parking was great and plenty of seating and space for my wife, my daughter and me to be comfortable hanging out and working from here during the day. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Wonderful location, family and pet friendly. Beds are like clouds. Communicative hosts. We enjoyed ourselves.

Location was excellent for us. The beds were very comfortable, there was a good amount of space for socializing, and the house was clean. But note that stairs are narrow and fairly steep. With the only bathroom downstairs, it’s best to be steady on your feet. No coffee creamer or sugar but coffee Keurig pods were supplied. It is an old house so there are fun quirks but there is also some basic maintenance that needs to be done inside and out. Maybe because we were there end of season.

Old but clean and cozy home. The one bathroom situation takes some coordinating 😉 Beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great place for our Portland “home base” for our week-long Maine trip!!

Lots of room for a small family and close enough to walk to most everything in town. Highly recommend!

Loved the neighborhood and close proximity to downtown Portland. Host was very helpful and flexible. Made our vacation fun and relaxing.

This listing was very clean. Very quiet at night. Nice to have off street parking. Check in was very easy. All the places I wanted to go to were close by and easily able to drive to. It was very nice to have a book of recommended places to visit and restaurants to eat at.

We had an awesome time staying at Jason’s home. It was well decorated and charming. It’s really close to downtown Portland and unlike many homes it has its on dedicated driveway to park in. Jason was easy to reach and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Owner was very communicative and responsive leading up to our stay, and gave us all the info we needed. It was easy to find and get into the property, and everything was very clean and ready. We very much appreciated the easy “check out” and not being asked to clean everything and start laundry etc. like some rentals have started to require. The owner understood this was meant to be a vacation for us, and he went out of his way to make sure we were able to relax, tour Portland with recommendations, and he didn’t ask us to be our own cleaning service! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Stayed with my wife and 4 kids. I’d recommend checking out Ruski’s the first night if you’ve had a long day of travel. It’s just a short walk.

This is a no-frills place that made me feel like I had a more authentic Portland experience. It's an older home that is settling, so the floors are a bit uneven, and I liked that character! It had everything we needed - it was clean, walkable, came stocked with coffee, and the washer/dryer was a bonus. Jason was a very communicative host and the neighborhood was great. I'd absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the condo, the off street parking was so helpful and the location couldn’t be beat. The street is quiet yet close to everything, the bed linens were soooo comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Check in was super easy and the guides and maps provided were super helpful. All in all it was a very smooth and joyful experience. We will definitely be booking again should we return to Portland!

This is a great stay and ideal location to see Portland.

The location was close to everything, the property was clean and welcoming, and the host was very courteous. No issues whatsoever and he even let us check in early when we made it into town earlier than expected, all it took was a quick message which he replied to very quickly. 100% would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Easy walk to everything near by. Very comfortable beds and great communication from owner. Coffee pods and purified water were a nice touch.

Great and spacious place with all the basics you need for a comfortable stay. Location was close to downtown and within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants on Congress St. The off street parking spot was super convenient. Jason was a very responsive host.

We had a great stay. It was exactly what we needed; affordable, simple/basic place, but just enough comfort. And not too much stuff for our toddler to get into :) Jason is an excellent host and was very communicative. We also liked the neighborhood. Quiet but close (walkable) to local restaurants and a short drive to down town. We would stay again.

Hunkered down in late Autumn with a friend for a board/videogame marathon. The Wi-Fi speed was steady, and the dining room perfect for tabletop sessions. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bedding/linens. We got used to the small ground level bathroom, but we're two able-bodied people, so keep that in mind for larger parties or those with needs. The proximity to every restaurant, private driveway and cozy vibe more than made up for its quirks. Property manager was quite on top of checking in with us. Would not hesitate to book this again.

Nice neighborhood with easy access to everything. Enjoyed our visit.

The beds in this unit were quite comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked (but the largest pot could only hold 2 lobsters), the off-street parking was a real plus, and the location of the property gave us easy access to things we had planned for our trip to Portland. Jason was responsive to communication. Thank you . . .

Jason was very helpful and his property was very accommodating and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Walkable to restaurants and bars. Beds very comfortable!

Positives: Good location, three bedrooms, reasonable price.
Concerns: Trouble accessing unit, could not reach owner when needed, bathroom is on the first floor while bedrooms are on the second.

The house is great and feels cozy. There is only one small bathroom (as noted in the listing) and that can get tight with too many people staying. The host is *highly* communicative and eager to help if there are any problems. It is about a half-mile walk to anything much, but that is not much of a problem (and not worth getting in your car).
Overall, highly recommended.
(If you are dining in the area, I suggest you check out Boda for Thai food and Portland Lobster Company on the harbor. The host has a binder in the dining room with all his information and suggestions -- I told you he was responsive!)

Jason was incredibly welcoming and kind. The apartment was as described and a perfect distance for a walk down town or a very short Uber ride.
We appreciated how he made the check in/ out process so easy and reached out to see if we needed anything. Would highly recommend staying here or other properties he may have.

Property was clean and easy to find. I love historic old homes. This has a lot of character. My family enjoyed staying here and would rent again. The location is excellent for downtown Portland access.

West end stay
Jason was very communicative. Super easy check out process. Binder guide was awesome! Location was walkable to Old Port and Congress St. Floors were a bit funhouse-like, but what do you expect for 100 year old floors? Lots of room for our family and overall toddler friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Blueberry muffins!
Awesome location: exactly where we needed to be to enjoy gatherings and all Portland has to offer! Parking made coming and going simple, while walking was simple as well. Love that coffee and muffin at Becky’s. Thanks!

Portland Old Port
Easy access. Short walking distance to Old Port. Great food. Nice boat tour of area islands and bus tour of Portland.

Great location!
We loved our time in Portland! This property is very conveniently located and Jason was great to work with. The home is old but has all the modern necessities, including a smart tv, wifi, and comfortable beds. The only tricky thing to navigate is the downstairs bathroom. All the bedrooms are upstairs and the staircase is pretty steep. Unless there is someone with limited mobility in your group, I would recommend this property!
