About this house rental
Our home was built in 1923, and recently renovated top to bottom. We worked with architect Steve Perce of BLDG Collective to open and expand the floor plan, and to make a true indoor / outdoor, family friendly space that is bright, modern, clean, and comfortable. Our home was recently featured in a local design magazine, for a story titled 'Great Spaces.'

The center of the house is the kitchen / living area, which has huge sliding patio doors open to a large, grassy backyard complete with dining patio, gas grill, and lounge chairs beneath tall maples that provide shade in the summer. The covered front front porch is a great place to sit and have a cold drink in the evening. Hardwood floors, Carrara marble, and original artwork are throughout the 3000 square foot space.
There is an office with full bath on the main floor that is a peaceful, sunny place to work or read. It can also double as a 4th bedroom. Just let us know how you'd like the beds arranged and we'll set it up in advance.
The house was designed and built for our family of four, with occasional visits from friends and parents. Upstairs, two kids rooms with a twin bed each share Jack + Jill style bathroom. Three joined wooden doors from the original 1923 house provide privacy for the master suite, (also upstairs) which has a king bed, and a spectacular 12' wide, floor to ceiling window that looks out at leaves, sky, and the sunrise. The master bath has dual sinks with Carrara marble, a glassed in thermostatic rainshower, and a Duravit soaking tub also with a leafy window view. There is a roof mounted, ducted swamp cooler that brings fresh, cool air to each of the three upstairs bedrooms on warmer evenings.
There is a new 6 person hot tub on the back deck.
In the basement, there is wall-to-wall carpet and a kids' playroom with two more twin beds. The basement stays cool in the summer. Our guests that stay in the basement use the full bath on the main floor. There is also an AppleTV with a projector and sound system that is great for watching movies.
The house is a beautiful 10 minute walk from Downtown Boulder, and the shops and restaurants of Pearl Street. Our neighborhood is very walkable, with sidewalks, gardens, historic homes, and tall, beautiful trees. We also have bicycles in our bike shed to get you around town via the world class network dedicated bike lanes and paths. There is a public pool (Spruce Pool) two blocks away, which is a great place to take kids on hot days.
If you want to spend time in Boulder hiking, riding, walking, lounging, or eating delicious food, you can do it all from here, without any need for a car.
FYI: Boulder zoning regulations limit us to rent to a maximum of three individuals who are unrelated to each other. Families have no such limitation on renting. We give you this information upfront to avoid inconveniencing both you and us, and we thank you for your understanding.

Fantastic house with everything we needed and a great sense of style. It was also the perfect location from which to explore the Boulder area, and walking distance to town was a huge plus.

Its a great house but more than that the owners are super accommodating...always checking in to make sure your needs are met. We stayed a month and it was simply amazing. Great neighborhood, great neighbors just overall perfection.

We loved staying in this beautifully decorated home in Boulder. We came for our son’s graduation from CU Boulder and it was the perfect house for our family. The backyard was great for outdoor seating, dining and relaxing, and we could walk or bike easily into town for restaurants, shopping, etc. There were bikes available for us to use which was an added benefit.
The furniture in the home is really nice as well; contemporary and artistic as well. The owner was great about responding to any questions we had. We would love to stay here again in the future. I would highly recommend this home for a family visiting Boulder!

This was a perfect home for us. Great location, wonderful neighborhood. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. The light is spectacular and come find the rainbow. The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

We stayed in the house for a week and felt really at home. The house has a lot of charm to it, with lots of love for detail and great interior design. The location is superb, close to town, and in a very nice road. Everything work perfectly well. The owners are very friendly, and even sent us something we had forgotten back to Germany. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed staying in this lovely house. Our daughters loved to play in the very large back yard and play. Everything we needed was provided, the house felt new, and the kitchen was excellent. Pearl st mall is 5 minute bike ride and a lovely 20 minute walk. I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Boulder.
