Soberbo !

Rapidez e simpatia no atendimento via telemóvel no momento em que chegamos ao local assim como um generoso upgrade por parte do dono que nos disponibilizou a estadia num melhor quarto/apartamento sem custos acrescidos. Bonito, calmo e confortável local para puder descansar e descontrair. Quinta com boa paisagem, apenas com uma pequena degradação em termos do caminho entre a entrada até ao estacionamento.

Apenas um pequeno reparo que quando chegamos ao local reparamos que o mesmo parecia já não ser utilizado a algum tempo e nesse sentido apresentava alguma sujidade mas nada de extraordinário.

Beautiful place, bad service

the place is beautiful and the house is big

First of all there is no one to receive you, so we were kind of lost because we didn't received a message or a phone number before we got there. We got to the place around 17:00 and the lady that cleaned went home a few minutes after...with no towels for the pool. If you need something during the night you have just hooking, so you'll wont get an answer In the next day we asked for the towels for the pool and a crib. Maria answered that somebody will give us. We ce back around 16:30 and again, no towels, no crib and no one to talk...so the.place is amazing but if you need anything you'll wont get it. Also a bottle of water would be nice.

Beautiful setting but really just a room, not a deluxe apartment.

Beautiful setting and the friendliest dog ever.

It was incorrectly described as a deluxe apartment; it more like a large room. If that's all you want then its fine. It was lacking in apartment features (eg no cooking facilities of any type, only 1 chair in the room, only a small desk unsuitable 2 people to use, no plates or bowls for even simple food consumption.)

This is a beautiful quinta with extremely helpful owners who managed to solve my mistake when booking many rooms for a group of 10 people. They were super flexible and found another beautiful room (for free !) They offered us also great wines from their cellar (again for free !) And they helped us with a lot of other services and local advices. Next to quinta there is fabulous bakery you can get excellent breakfast so if you are not into cooking yourself, you have always a way out. And they have a great pool.

The Place are beautiful, The room is good, but the service doesn't exist, nobody help you.

The bed, the bathroom.

During the week I staid there, just the last day had TV Cable and Wifi. No have washing machine for clothes If you have any problem, nobody stay there if you need something. During the week, nobody clean your room, The towels were always the same.

Excellent host. Attractive setting. Public transportation near by. A great benefit considering the alternative of driving in sintra

Gorgeous stay in Sintra!

Everything was perfect. Beautiful property. Comfortable beds and rooms. Gorgeous furnishings/decorations. Close to beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay! Will certainly repeat in the summer.

Sad sad experience!

Bed comfortable. Room with AC. Outdoor is beautiful with a nice view over the valley.

1. Location on google map was wrong. Access to the farm, through the gate, was a puzzle with no one picking the phone. 2. Room is not what I booked. I booked a Luxury Apartment with private "seating area" and other amenities. I was surprised with a room with a bed and a chair with no side table next to the chair for a cup to be placed on. 3. No coffee machine. No breakfast. One cannot cross the property walking to the coffee shops (they consider it private access) so you will have to take your car and drive around the farm to go to the main road to reach the coffee shops. 4. Sad communication: When I tried to communicate and meet the hosts (who live on the same property) to show them my booking, I was ignored. I eventually gave up and simply asked for a simple side table for my cup. I was then told "it is what it is". They live few steps away and wouldn't bother to come to see you and listen to you. 5. I objected to this situation as it was weird and unprofessional, so I was told I am "free to go if I don't like it" and will be refunded. Two months later, I had to complain to Booking.com about not receiving a refund (they kept ignoring my messages although they asked for my bank account details). Booking.com sorted the issue immediately following reviewing the messages. PLEASE make sure what you book is what you get.

A lovely, homely retreat!

We stayed at Quinta Pedra Firme with our sons (12 and 9) in August. We had a large two bedroom, two storey property, which was spacious and comfortable for us all. Paul and Marie were very welcoming and helpful, and we really felt like we were sharing in the calm and beauty of the whole property. The pool was a hit with the boys, creating a highlight each day after time spent exploring the area. The weather was incredible, allowing us to enjoy trips to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Praia das Maçãs (although the sea is FREEZING, even after a very hot summer!). We also enjoyed a couple of great meals at Ribeirinha de Colares, a short walk from the property. Highly recommended.

Some very minor improvements to the property would be a plug for the kitchen sink, washing up liquid (to negate buying a large bottle for four days!), and an airer to dry clothes - but these were minor inconveniences.

Nice place with charming hosts but improvements should be made

Spacious rooms and nice pool charming hosts

the deluxe suite for 2 is located at ground floor between other houses. Unless you pull down all curtains, privacy is limited. Despite a ventilator, the bath room is damp due to its location in the middle of houses. There is a faint smell of moisture that goes up to the bedroom. Minimalistic furniture in both 4-person family room and deluxe suite. No dish washer, no place to hang wet towels or swim shorts,… Cooking only works if you do the basics. The description says washing machine on demand, but that is not true. You need to find on your own the laundry service in the village nearby.

It was a lovely stay in a great location, apart from being rudely awoken on several occasions.

Lovely spacious apartment, nicely furnished and appointed. Friendly and helpful hosts. Nice garden and pool area.

We were woken up both nights of our stay around 1:30am and then an hour later on the second evening, by garage doors and clanging gates, extremely loud talking and laughing right outside the bedroom window. These were not other hotel guests but (I believe) family and friends of the hosts.

Best stay ever!

Hosts were amazing, and the little dog Jack was super cute and friendly! Honestly this was the best stay I’ve had anywhere and I’ve travelled a lot.

Overpriced let down

It wasn't straightforward to find the precise location but when we finally arrived, we were Initially impressed with the 'feel' of the place. The initial 'show of attention' to detail made the subsequent 4 night stay quite irritating. There was minimal attention to detail. Room wasn't made up at all during out stay. I cannot understand why a room with a toilet/shower was called a 'Suite'. Nowhere to put things - no surfaces. Kettle included, but no consumables. Had to plug the kettle in on the floor after unplugging tv ... Don't do tv anyway. The door to the room needed a good hammering before it opened. The shower door didn't fit. Nowhere to hang dressing gown or own toiletries when using facilities. Nice puppy left us a present on the stairs one evening and wasn't cleaned up until late moring. Car park a fair slog from the room. We didn't dare use the swimming pool as it was too cold, but we would not have used it anyway because it looked a bit dirty.. Air con was very good. Room looked nice. Bed comfortable. Lovely views.

this property was nothing short of amazing. the hosts are professional, passionate, engaging, and beyond helpful. it is the most beautiful property with a lot of heart and soul pouring out of every detail! we were sad to leave, and are very much looking forward to returning!
