it was very pretty and pool was big. set back beach is close. Good value so you get what you pay for. Food is adequate nothing to rave about.
there is not very much around only 1 shop in the hotel and one 10 minutes away. The town is 45 minute walk away. The “private” beach is not exactly private and the rocks are sharp and dangerous. better ocean if you walk up towards the town. No labels on any of the food and flies can often go towards it when it is left. Maids sometimes do not come and you must ask the manager who will clean up.

The food was really nice, all traditional Greek food and there was a wide range of dishes to choose from for lunch and dinner. Always lots of salad, feta, tatziki, stuffed vine leaves, plus rice/ potato and spaghetti dishes. Different meats, fish , meatballs, moussaka and vegetables. Baklava cakes are served in the evening, watermelon served twice a day. Everything is Greek food (so don't come and then complain if you want something else) and rotated. Breakfast was breads, fresh yoghurt, different jams, preserves, figs, fruit, chocolate spread, honey, muesli, cereals, milk, cooked meats and eggs, cold meats and cheeses and eggs.
The staff are very friendly, Nikos is attentive to his guests. He plays the guitar and sings sometimes in the evening (he's very good). Saturday night is Greek night with music and dancing and fire!
The resort is respectable, tidy and well laid out, it is very close to a private beach. The pool is very nice and clean, it has sun loungers for free. There is water on tap at meal times (we filled our bottles up) and taps in the room and fridges (you can drink the tap water btw). At the bar, there are soft drinks available, wine, beer, spirits like rum and gin. We also were made "*** on the beach" cocktails. Bar is open from 11am to 11pm. We were allowed to have lunch when we turned up earlier than our check in time and the day we left where our taxi was late afternoon after check out time, which is really lovely of them
There is a bus route that takes you to Kardemena Town from am to late pm. Hotel has the timetables, it also has bicycles you can borrow. It also can sort out car hire, and buggies, mopeds etc
There's car hire places everywhere. We found it quick to walk to Kardemena Harbour, about 25 minutes and a nice walk along the beach front. We then also hired a car. Driving around Kos and parking is pretty easy to be fair. This place is away from things, it's quiet, it's peaceful.
Well I saw complaints about loo roll, towels etc, beds not being changed. We had soap, we had loo rolls, we had towels. When I asked for more towels, we got more towels. I don't need someone to make my bed, I'm a grown up! If you want that, they are a little short staffed at the moment, so don't stay, not ask for clean towels or sheets and then complain after instead. I only wash my sheets once a week at home on my bed so it didn't bother me. But if you want clean sheets every day or your bed made every day for you, you need to ask or it may not be done. So not what I didn't like, but a warning to you if it will bother you.
The private beach for the hotel is stoney. But it has free sunbeds for guests which is great and has a fantastic view. If you want sand, walk up the shore a little and you get sandy beach.

Nice location
Could have been better cleaning & maintenance in the room.

Not worth your money. Badly run. Very rundown. Felt bad for the receptionist, having to deal with all the complaints from all the guests. Pool was murky. Rooms were never cleaned.. trash taken out 1 in out 7 nights stay. Aircon was broken and so was our fridge. Extra bed for our child was full of unprotected springs and a very very thin mattress. No one could sleep on a bed like that. So our daughter slept in our bed. What a mess of a hotel!!

The location is very beautiful, the beach is near
Unfortunately the rooms was not cleaned in a week while we was there, even the towels have not been changed, and it should not be called all inclusive, we have to pay for lot of thing.

views, swimming pool, some of the food
I’ve lived & worked in kos and is is my honest opinion….The only bar was at the pool. the lady who ran it in the day did nothing but moan about guests, said she was too busy said she had no break yet she kept disappearing & moaned about people drinking….we are having a holiday & paid for it! . i work very hard as a nurse & came for a rest, a few drinks & paid good money to stay & don’t want to listen to someone who doesn’t want to be happy in their job….there was no still water available at 32 degrees heat….was told to buy it! no tonic water available for gin (never in my life have a been to an all inclusive bar where i had to buy tonic water) no cocktails, no snacks. just 5 spirits, red& white wine on tap, beer & fizzy drinks available. no frappe unless you paid for it. a coffee machine & limited cake at 4pm that disappeared in seconds…was told one day i couldn’t gave any and it was gone!. no bins around the pool. cups & glasses or tiny (like school water glasses) The guy in the Evening was extremely friendly yet seemed frustrated with the limitations of what was in offer to give to guests. The hotel shop is extremely overpriced. there is one down the road to the left much cheaper for snacks, tonic water & still water! . Food in restaurant was ok….hit & miss with availability (spaghetti bolognaise was available every night) some traditional greek food was yummy. no desserts just melon or cake that was so sweet it hurt my teeth! breakfast & lunch the same every day. A bit like a canteen. More fresh seafood & meat would of been lovely. Everyone had to clear away your own plates. tables not wiped down. The room basic, i had already used little bottles of shampoo on my sink on arrival. had to ask for a fridge & no hairdryer(ask at reception) & told no double beds although advertised as double or single. my Bed had a big dip in it which made it uncomfortable. the bathroom smelt of drains.

We had a room at the top with a nice Beachview. Not many rooms have this view. The room was really big - a big plus.
The food was taken quickly - almost no food was available for breakfast. And probably for lunch and dinner. Very far from everything if you dont have a car. The staff do not care about anything..

The staff were absolutely brilliant so although they couldnt change us to one of the new rooms which at the height of season I understand they did above and beyond to help us during our stay. Niko and his family are so lovely and great fun, I think if you dont go in asking for crazy demands that they cannot possibly meet then they will always be willing to help. I reported a fault on my toilet and it was fixed within the hour. I mentioned hair dryer not working and reception gave us a replacement straight away, little things but it made for a stress free holiday. Thank you to all the staff at evripides we will return for sure!
They have some really new rooms with more upgrades to be done over the next two winters I believe but we were not fortunate enough to be in the new rooms so our room was a little tired but perfectly acceptable apart from really uncomfortable beds and only air con in our bedroom where we slept but our two boys were in a separate part of the room as it's a two room apartment and theirs had no aircon so hard beds and very warm at night wasnt great.
