The suite was covered in dust and build up. The blinds had thick dust on. Mould around the shower and bath. Ripped wallpaper in the bathroom. Bed looked like a child had made it. Hot tub smelt of sewage water and steps was filthy to get in. Stones in hot tub and felt slimy on the seats. Receptionist was polite. Since contacting owner Phillip was rude and unprofessional. Not apologetic and very unhelpful. Claims he tried to speak to us at Breakfast but no gentleman over than a chef came out to speak to us. Very judgemental and unsupportive. Refuse any compensation or to deal with the situation as an adult and be respectful to his customers. Don’t recommend and so unapproachable if you have any issues. Light bulbs hanging out of sockets in bathroom and hallway.

very nice location and lovely ideas for the swimming pool and hot tubs
cold water in the morning so couldn’t have a nice freshen before leaving, because we was trying to sort out getting hot water, we was still in the room at 10.30 and the cleaning stuff banging on the door stressing us out

A private little corner of Norfolk, none of the lodges overlooked each other, beautiful gardens.
Nothing.

Loved the charm of the location and garden. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool was lovely. The staff were very welcoming. A very relaxing stay.
The Hotel is on the pricier side in the region. And everything other than the swimming pool is an extra charge, including breakfast.
4.2
Staff very welcoming in a very rural setting, breakfast was well cooked and staff very accommodating.
Very tired looking with miss matched furniture, hot tub smelt and was very cloudy so would not use it, I certainly thought it was overpriced

Both myself and partner stayed for just the one night. Everything was just how we expected it would be.
Check in was very easy. Dee Dee greeted us at the car. We were shown around the Walnut Suite and had the evening dinner menu setup explained to us. A great selection of local food on offer.
The private hot tub was a great addition.
Evening dinner service was served quickly due to the one sitting setup.
Slightly more privacy for the hot tub at Walnut suite would be good. Overlooked by the next suite and possibly from the outside seating area if you were using the tub during daylight hours. This is just a minor negative.
