Had a wonderful time exploring the island and the rental was everything and more than expected.

We have travelled to many islands in the Bahamas but this one has moved to the top of the list. Robin made it easy for us. The car she includes is essential and we travelled all over the island. The villas are central so you can go North or South or just stay home. The sea view is hypnotic and to fall asleep listening to the waves is delightful. The locals are wonderful and the food is great (lots of calories). We will be back. You do not know what you are missing so pack your bags today.

Mike and Robin have a little slice of heaven on Long Island. The location provides magnificent sunrises each morning, right from your screened-in porch. Alternatively, about a mile down the street you can catch sunsets on the ocean on the other side of the island. We enjoyed a peaceful and quiet vacation and explored the whole island - thanks to the car that comes with the house rental, that was a nice bonus!

I never got to meet Mike and Robin, but Nicky was the perfect hostess, balancing helpful with not being intrusive. I brought mosquito and no-see-um repellent and never needed it because the breeze was ever-present. The "lagoon" was delightful to snorkel, the sea glass hunting was the best I've ever experiened, morning sunrises were perfection, and because I purposefully booked my trip to coincide with the new moon, the stargazing was incredible - seeing the milky way every night was icing on a perfect, relaxing, much needed vacation. Having a vehicle was such a nice perk, and everyone on the island was so nice!! I admit, I did not go anywhere except Deans Blue Hole and the obligatory meal at Max's (both deserve the hype), so clearly, I'll have to come back and explore the rest of the island. Getting an appt at the Simm's clinic for the (US required) antigen test was simple, quick and easy. I recommend buying the voucher from the Ministry of Tourism before you go. I've traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, and normally have a "too many places to see - I don't re-visit" policy, but Bahama Dreamin is THAT good... Enjoy!!!

Bahama Dreamin was a beautiful place to stay for vacation. Robin was very helpful with planning the trip and my cottage was so clean and nicer than I dreamed it would be. It is a great centralized location to explore the island during the day (with the included car) and then come home and relax in the tiki hut by the ocean each night. I will definitely be back!

Robin and Mike proved to be great hosts from the moment we booked the villa. Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly. Robin proved to be a wealth of information, don’t be afraid to ask! She was there when we needed her and absent when we didn’t. We enjoyed talking with her, she is so sweet. The villas are beautiful, well thought out and have everything you need for your stay. A perfect couples getaway

Can't say enough wonderful things about this property! Gorgeous view from a huge screened porch! The Chimney Rock formation is breathtaking! The villa itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for a perfect stay! The owner, Robin, was very sweet and helpful. She helped us arrange a fabulous boating trip with Captain Marvin. An added bonus is that they have vehicles that you can use during your stay!

Best vacation by far. Excellent location with breathtaking views. Owners were welcoming and gave us valuable insight on where to go and what to see. It’s nice to go to a place where all of the locals know each other. Definitely get the vehicle when you stay, it’s worth it. We will definitely be back to stay here to share this experience with our adult children and friends. Plenty of space with separate quarters upstairs and down for privacy. We can’t say enough good things about Mike & Robin, truly appreciate their hospitality and letting us stay in their wonderful home.

Bahama Dreamin was exactly as advertised. Beautiful location, excellent accommodations, many amenities that made our stay enjoyable. Excellent snorkeling right in front of the property (with daily visit of a resident curious barracuda!). The covered deck overlooking the ocean was used every morning and evening. Central location made visiting each end of the island easy. We were only renters during our stay which was nice. If all four units were booked at the same time, it might get a little crowded but there is so much to do on the island it could also be a benefit to share your experiences with others. Will definitely return to Bahama Dreamin when visiting Long Island again.

If you're looking for peace, serenity and raw beauty, look no further than Bahama Dreamin. Overlooking scenic Chimney Rock the views from the Villa are simply stunning. A constant Atlantic breeze, abundant sunshine, friendly people-- what else could you ask for!! The villas are clean, spacious, and well appointed with everything that you could possibly need. The free car rental was a welcome added bonus. Sit on your own private screened in balcony, by the fire pit or at the thatch covered cabana located halfway down the staircase to the beach. Kayak, snorkel or simply enjoy the majestic views and listen to the endless waves lapping at the shoreline. Unwind. Dead man's Cay is centrally located on Long Island with easy access to the North and South-- allowing for easy exploration. The vibe of this place is tremendous with friendly locals, zero crime, great places to eat and people to meet Don't miss Bahamas Dreamin. Robin and Mike are terrific with tips on restaurants, boat tours, swimming with the pigs (make sure you ask for Marvin Cartwright as your guide), fishing excursions, directions---anything you might need. This is a home away from home! So comfortable, clean, modern and the views are spectacular! Great location mid island and the car that was included was essential. Robin was a great host and gave us all the info we needed on the best of everything on the island. Can’t wait to go back! So lucky to have found this gem.

We just had the best vacation at Bahama Dreamin. The unit is huge for a one bedroom, and immaculate. The views when you come home from a day of island visiting are perfect. For us, it was the best place: central, affordable, spacious, and clean. We absolutely loved Long Island. We went to a different beach every day and were alone. Every day. A boat trip with Marvin was spectacular! Ask about it, he is a gem. We went to the sand bar and it was the most beautiful beach I've ever seen, and we've been to many islands. Stayed for 17 days in Feb 2019. Breathtaking view every morning from screened in porch with reclining chairs. Owners just built fireplace seating area for guests to gather at night. Overall fantastic place that comes with a car. Robyn and Mike are also top notch people......

What an amazing week we had! The views from the villa are amazing, the snorkeling in front of the villa was better than anticipated, and the beach under Chimney Rock was super cool. Access to a car made this trip even better...the day trips to beaches around the island were unforgettable. Be sure to get to the Columbus Monument and snorkel Columbus Cove (below the monument). Galloway Beach, across the road from Dean's Blue Hole is a hidden gem - I wish we would have gone back a second time and stayed longer! In typical Bahamian fashion, there were a few bumps in the road with luggage and other issues, but Robin handled everything promptly and efficiently! It made the trip an even better experience. When we return to Long Island, you can be sure we will be back to Bahama Dreamin' . Until next time!!

Wonderful time on Long Island, friendly people, safe environment, great beaches and snorkeling,

We landed at Deadman's Airport...Robin was there to greet us .. From then on it was one "wow" after another ...The views from the villas are spectacular .... The villa we stayed in ...pink place on bottom floor was awesome .. So clean .. so inviting ...It felt like we were staying in a Five Star Hotel ... Believe me when I say that this place and Robin and Mike are all 5 stars !! The snorkeling out front was nice ...a little choppy at times but when the seas calmed down it was nice to just snorkel right from the villa .. The villa location is very central to stores, gasoline and restaurants ..We had a Toyota Highlander for our vehicle and we never had a problem ..Keep in mind, if you had to rent a vehicle like that it is VERY expensive !! I would highly recommend this property and experience to anyone who enjoys the ocean and a quiet island..We love snorkeling and we found places that Robin suggested and they turned out to be great ...CORAL GARDENS is one place ...just make sure the seas are calm ..Dining ... wear a bathing suit / shorts and go to Max's Conch Bar .. or the Forest 2..Max's is the place to chat with the locals. .. Don't pass this property up ... AWESOME

Besides the amazing beaches are the gracious people who live and vacation on LI. Robin could not have been nicer. Having a car made exploring the island a breeze and coming home every night to our villa with the incredible ocean views was like being in paradise. Will definately be back!

Stayed at Bahama Dreamin Jan.24 through Feb. 14 and had a wonderful time. The villas are nice, clean, with plenty of room to move around and be comfortable. A nicely equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. The screened in porches with gas grills are a nice touch especially on the windiest days. Beach towels, road cooler, and more provided by the owners. Plenty of dvd s to watch in the evenings after winding down from a long day of exploring the island. The villas are centrally located between Clarence Town and Salt Pond making it easier to visit the local establishments many times as everyone does. The "loaner" vehicle was an added benefit for our stay, we used the Jeep Wrangler and it got us all over the island without any problems. Great place to stay for your island adventures.

It’s Monday morning and I’m “Bahama Dreamin”. We just returned from two weeks on Long Island and an amazing piece of paradise at Bahama Dreamin. This was our third trip to Long Island with a group of eleven. Bahama Dreamin provided us the ideal accommodations for our group. We rented two of the two bedroom units and one of the one bedroom units which gave everyone the perfect balance between family time and some private space. Bahama Dreamin is located at the center of the island which is great. It is close to Deadman’s Cay airport which was really appreciated when our children’s flights home were delayed due to weather. Robin kept us informed of flight updates and provided assistance in an alternative option to Nassau. Bahama Dreamin is on a beautiful beach on the Atlantic side of the ocean. We snorkeled and speared a huge lobster the first night we arrived. Each day we went to another beach on Long Island. The cars that are included are a huge bonus when renting from Bahama Dreamin. The jeep and large SUV’s allowed our large group to explore the entire island from North to South. The units are beautifully decorated, clean and as comfortable as home. We cooked meals most nights for eleven in one of the units and had everything we needed. The large screened porches overlooking the ocean provided the perfect spot every morning for coffee and a spectacular sunrise and then an evening cocktail hour listening to the waves. Our group included four grandparents, grown children and our three year old grandson and four month old granddaughter. Robin arranged for Cena, her caretaker to babysit everyday which was amazing. Bahama Dreamin provides an excellent layout for everyone from seniors to children and I would recommend it for all ages and group sizes. We have been traveling to the Bahamas for over 20 years and have visited many different islands. Long Island is our favorite. It has the most beautiful, isolated beaches we have seen. Robin and Cena helped arrange fishing trips and introduced us to many amazing people. Cameron Knowles provided the experience of a lifetime by sharing his lobster adventures with my husband. Robin and Mike have created the ultimate setting for others to experience the beauty and restfulness of Long Island. We are already looking at the calendar to plan our next trip. Until then, we will be “Bahama Dreamin".

All was great at Bahama Dreamin. Spectacular views from the front porch, fun jeep and comforts of home inside. Long Island is small enough that you can explore end to end and see beautiful scenery, eat great food and meet interesting locals. Whether you are lounging by the water or fishing the flats Bahama Dreamin and Long Island are a perfect fit.

Everyone, Honestly, OMG was the first words out of our mouths! From the initial drive onto the property we were impressed with the view. Chimney rock with the aqua blue lagoon and back drop was amazing. Fell in love instantly. The soothing crash of waves and spectacular breeze was comforting as we stepped out of the car. The villa was better than advertised! We were not sure exactly what we were getting initially and ended up very pleased. The private screened porch was large and the view was lovely! The breeze on the porch was relaxing and felt heavenly. The kitchen was great, the living room was really nice. Overall we felt right at home. The decor added a nice warmth and beach like feel. Loved the shower too!! Everything was well maintained and clean upon arrival, it looked pretty much brand new. It was so quiet and peaceful on the property which made for a truly relaxing vacation. Those of you that enjoy the peace and quiet, non-resort style crowds, and love to explore, this is the place for you. The vehicle was such an added value! We are explorers by nature so having the freedom to jump in the Jeep and see the entire island was perfect for us. The central location of Bahama Dreamin made travel to both ends of the island feasible at any time of the day. Robin was awesome! She gave us great advise with finding the perfect sunset and snorkeling location (right on the property is hard to beat). She was VERY fast in responding to questions pre-arrival as well as once we were onsite. Excellent customer service. We both would highly recommend this property to our family and friends. Honestly we already have! We would totally like to let everyone know about our great stay at Bahama Dreamin. We went for 2 weeks to celebrate our 30th Anniversary in February of 2016. It started with Robyn picking us up at the airport. Showing us the area and answering any questions we had. The car she lent us was extremely handy so we could find awesome beaches, did some fishing, snorkling and just relaxing. The accommodations are very up to date and is equipped anything you'll need. The view was also amazing and kept us in awe the hole time.

Robin's & Mike's Bahamas Dreamin is really a dream. The location is perfect. From the porch you have a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Lagoon is only steps away from the door. The house is clean, well maintained and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The car comes with the rental and is a great asset to explore the island. What a great place to get away from it all! get away from all the hustle and bustle - unwind to the ocean seas lapping on the shore of a white sandy beach ! surrounded by beautiful rocks jutting out of the sea - what a breeze - balmy breezes all day and night -- no need for the air condition, peaceful, calm serene............ you will leave rejuvenated, refreshed and revived. Ocean Villas is a home away from home...........lovely premises, clean, pristine, comfortable and affordable ! I cannot wait to get back for another visit!!!!!!!!
