Posizione ottima, a 10 min a piedi dal centro storico. Personale affabilissimo e molto gentile. Ristorante ottimo. Consigliatissimo.

location, friendly welcome, and big room with beautiful a fresco
the breakfast was really well below basic, not even a fresh croissant or fresh bread or juice made with real fruit.

the views, the size of the pool, the evening meals, convenience for day trips, everything about Volterra

First we chose a room without air conditioning, which was really a mistake in July. Fortunately, however, there were other rooms available where this problem was solved for a small extra charge. Breakfast was fine. Amazing tranquility and an awesome pool. Beautiful views.
The beds could be more comfortable (they are too soft and stretched out).

Location is good, just near the entry of city, parking was ok, breakfast was also ok.
There was no air condition, so is it impossible to sleep at night, there was no air. It is too humid. And the room and everything in there was old and dated. Price is high, so value is not good. Outside is nice, but everything inside needs renovation.

Everything about this hotel was spot on.
There was nothing about our stay here that we didn't like.

The surroundings we're very pretty (especially garden and the pool), the view from the room was stunning, the lobby was also good, altought in vintage style. From the city center its 10 minutes away by foot.
Our room was too much vintage to our taste, one of the matraces was laid out, the bathroom was older, the shower had to be closed by some sort of expandable doors which took the whole space of the bathroom out and after the door was put back the whole floor was wet. Also no A/C, and the parking at the photo looks big, but when you arrive, almost every place is occupied and you have to have big luck to find one free.

wonderful location in a very quiet part of the countryside. A great view.
inside the house it is unfortunately not well soundproofed and you can hear other rooms “distinctly

The staff was helpfull
The hotel is ok, but the bathroom is horrible and needs at least a shower stall. The shower was messy, cold and extremely uncomfortable.

The location is excellent, right outside the city gate. Easy to access. Rooms could use a bit of upgrading but they are just like the photos so no surprises. It’s a cheap and cheerful spot for a stopover.
Parking is down the street beside the hotel. This is NOT exclusive hotel parking but free parking for anyone which could make it difficult to find a spot during busy times. The light in the room is insufficient. There is one desk lamp and two wall sconces by the beds. One was not working properly and never fixed. The shower door leaks. No matter how the door was positioned in the bath, water still spilled out all over the floor. Breakfast was ok. Items were running out when we arrived at 8:30 and not enough staff to deal with table clearing and making endless coffees.

Check in was easy and room ready earlier than advertised. Location is excellent although Volterra is very hilly so a steep climb from the hotel to the centre of town. Parking easily available. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with good bathroom. Large swimming pool that was very welcome after walking about town. We ate in the hotel restaurant. Very atmospheric with good food and wine. External views were spectacular.
Room was a little noisy. Not sure if it was a central air con unit as we had swiched off our room unit. 2 Euro charge for pool towel.

Good location. Beautiful view. Walk into Volterra.
Rooms quite old and bathroom not up to modern standards and exceptionally small and tight. Who ever designed this? The WC is literally IN the shower !
Dear owner: Invest in new rooms, you can increase the room rate, have happier guests ( instead of only complaining guests) and you have a great hotel.
The ladies that work there not very happy / friendly.

We spent three nights at the facility and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff is very nice and helpful, the room was spacious with a balcony and the swimming pool is huge so it doesn't get too crowded.
The only thing we had an issue with was the shower door. It definitely needs to be fixed, but other than that no complaints.

Great location. Lovely pool with nice surroundings. Stunning views! Breakfast was tasty and good value for money. Room was a good size with comfortable bed and air conditioning.
The decor in the room was a little dated. However, very clean.

Rustic and tranquil setting ( excellent pool and facilities). Genuine family run.
Super Personnel and service. Passionately prepared and explained food from passed down old family recipes.
I didn't like having to leave when my 6 day's stay came to an end :) :)
