The location of the property in Volterra is superb. Whilst an easy 5 minute stroll to the ample bars and restaurants, the property was in a very quiet location, within the medieval city walls, and within a 1 minute walk of the gate of the town. It made for a great place to relax and had easy access from the multiple car parks situated outside of the city walls. The property itself was furnished to a high standard, had everything you need, and was extremely clean. Both bedrooms had ceiling fans, which, along with the very old, thick walls, ensured a great, cool night's sleep despite temperatures in the 30s while we were there. There is no need at all for air conditioning. Ample window shutters kept the sun at bay, and nets at each window allowed for fresh air without the fear of the dreaded mosquitoes.

Perfect location with all you needed - even Tea😊
It would have been nice to have a fan. With temperatures over 30 degrees outside it was cooler inside but still very warm.

Great location (within the centro storico). Good layout, modern bathroom, loved the simple decor (no clutter/personal stuff (ornaments and the like). Everything was clean. Windows all had mosquito screens so could sleep with open windows.
There is no parking but Elena was very helpful with suggestions of where we could park for free.
Check-in and check-out were both super smooth. We stayed just one night but would gladly return.
Nothing !
