A acessibilidade e prontidão em ajudar do Badr. Foi super prestável e fez-nos sentir em casa.

Beautiful, traditional Riad with pretty plunge pool and amazing fig and palm tree at its centre. It was cool even at mid-day in July.
Location made it easy to find main square: we never got lost! Plus there’s an Al Barid cash point very close by and some lovely calm shops and cafes.
Breakfast was processed not fresh eg instant coffee and juice drink, sugary yogurts, no fruit. Comes as extra for €5, so we chose to spend our breakfast money on fresh juice and great coffee in a nearby cafe. But I understand this is standard breakfast fare in the Medina and it was great to have the option and convenience of breakfast on site.

Staff/owner was very helpful and kind - nothing was ever an issue. Right next to parking area which made getting around very easy + was given a map and basic rundown at the beginning of stay so we were able to figure out where and what we wanted to do :)

Location was perfect, within the Medina, walking distance to all that we wanted and needed. The staff were all very nice.
The second floor, which had three of our beds, had quite a low ceiling. This wasn't a big deal but just something to keep in mind.
We did find two cockroaches in the bathroom, it wasn't a big deal, we are quite good with bugs and whatnot but I can understand this would be very off-putting for others.

Location was ideal, within walking distance of everything we needed. The transport from the airport was very handy as well, particularly given we were arriving quite late and also had delays. The staff were all very friendly.
Three of our beds were on the second floor which had quite a low ceiling. A few of us bumped our heads, nothing serious and it definitely didn't ruin our stay, but just something to keep in mind.

Very hospitable hosts, calm riad although in the middle of the medina, bon rapport qualité prix.

The location was excellent! The host was very kind and respectful. I liked the traditional paintings on the walls and the decorations in general.
I did not like to check out😀

Lovely Riad, beautifully authentic.
Beds were all quiet uncomfortable as the mattresses were so hard.

Central location in the Medina, walking distance to everything yet quiet alleyway so very peaceful at night. Also close to the taxi rank so not far to move with luggage and easy to arrange ongoing transport. Taxi shuttle service from the airport was excellent, they waited for over an hour as our flight was delayed.
Refreshing plunge pool and lovely terrace for breakfast. Beautiful decor throughout. essentially a nice place to come back to fro a couple of hours of relaxation in between sightseeing.
nothing.

Riad is very beautiful and calm, we loved the inner territory very much, it was so relaxing just reading a book near to the pool, eating oranges. Children even tried the swimming pool, but for me water is too cold (but it was March). The room is nice, children loved the "second floor". Nice breakfast, they served it earlier for us. Staff is helpful and they also offer free of charge one-way transfer (we came from train station).
WC-pot was not attached to the floor properly, they have a bath tube in the room but it had no plug, so only showering option.

close but not directly next to Jemma el Fnaa
light from the stairwell shined into our bedroom area

I was sooo skeptical of this place after reading some bad reviews that i almost cancelled the booking. But so glad i didnt. I was pleasantly surprised by this riad. Firstly the location was superb. Located in a quiet street. 1 min walk to Dar Si Said Museum, 5-6 min to Bahia palace. Lets not forget 3 mins walk to Mandala society for a yummy coffee and breakfast. 2 mins to all the taxis. So yea location gets a 10/10.
We tried the breakfast only once. It was ok. Its just that i am picky with my breakfast. But do try it once for a traditional taste.
The room was huge! We got a family room which was two adjacent rooms with ensuite. However got a little cold at night (February) and theres no heating.
The staff was friendly.
This place is not a scam as i read several people calling it that. Its a lovely place with great authentic feel of a riad. I almost felt like i was in my ancestral village home. Ofcource its not going to be modern but it has all the emenities. Just enjoy and take great photos.

The location was great, the breakfast was very good and the staff was available to anticipate it a little bit according to our needs. The room was large enough for 6 people. Good value for money.

Location is good. Close to the entrance with parking (we had a car) and inside the medina. Short 7 minute walk to the main square. We were allowed to check out one hour late, but nobody really rushed us, which was good, and to store our luggage at the riad till departure to the airport.
The room was tiny and very dark. After staying at other riads in Marocco, this was a huge disappointment. Payment was to be in cash, euros or dirhams, but no credit card.

Couldn't be happier with our pick!
The location is perfect. Close to a taxi rank, main pick up spots for tour trips, bahia palace and an entrance to a souk that leads you straight to Jemaa el-fna. Surrounded by many top rated rooftop restaurants, a spa, mini grocery shops and a exchange point on the way to the square.
The locals in the area were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Made us feel very comfortable and safe in a way.
The riads manager was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout! Couldn't ask for a better host! We thank you again.
The Riad itself exceeded out expectations. It's was simply stunning! Authentic architecture throughout. With spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Beautiful pool area on the bottom floor and exceptional roof terrace at which we enjoyed phenomenal barber breakfast.
We'd recommend this riad to anyone who truly wants to experience Marrakech and not break the bank at the same time.
Best holiday ever! We will be back!

The Riad is beautiful and comfortable, a quiet and relaxing place to stay even though it is in the middle of the Medina. It is well located, a 10 min walk tops form everywhere. The room was clean, and Badr, who works in the riad, was very kind and helped us with everything we needed, making our stay in the riad even better.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The location was great. Walking distance to Jema el-fnaa but nice and tranquil in the riad.
The airconditioning was not able to cool some parts of the room.

The location was ideal, very central and also right beside a taxi rank if you did need to venture outside the city centre. Despite being in such a central location, it was very quiet and relaxing away from the bustling streets. It was very comfortable and felt very safe.
The receptionist was very kind and helpful. He waited up the 2 nights we were there until we came from dinner. He was very helpful organising a taxi to the airport for us and minded our bags while we went into the city before our late flight.

I stayed at Riad Zanzibar with 9 other friends and it was the best choice we could make! The rooms were spacious, cozy and neat. Breakfast was delicious and quite cheap, offered at only 5€ per person. However, without a doubt, the best part was the staff! They were always helping us with any doubts during our trip, organizing shuttles and day trips for us, and even gave us a room to shower before leaving to the airport even though we had not paid that night at the Riad. I highly recommend Riad Zanzibar for anyone visiting Marrakech, the location is ideal and the staff is wonderful! If we ever go back we will definitely choose this Riad again. Special thanks to Badr, our host, for being so attentive, friendly and polite with us during our trip.
