I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff were amazing - friendly, polite, attentive. Great location - near to everything you need. Beautiful surroundings and the rooms are spacious, well equipped, beautifully decorated - the whole hotel was beautifully decorated. It’s a little oasis and delightful stay.

Rama and his team are exceptional and it’s the most beautiful, peaceful oasis. We adored Siem Reap and could not have chosen a more perfect base. Loved the pool and Spa and really enjoyed taking a tuk tuk into town in the evenings. The staff are wonderful and really made our stay. We will be back for sure. There seems to be so much choice in Siem Reap accommodation wise, and we are so glad we chose here.

A location "colonial style", full of charme and comforts. The family room, actually two large connected rooms, was huge and comfortable: unforgettable the bath tube on your private terrace, shaded by tropical trees. The two pools and the good Thai cousine restaurant were enjoyable as well.
Great choice of menus for the breakfast
Having just a short three days stay...

Smaller, intimate, dedicated and professional staff; highly oriented towards sustainability
Nothing! (mosquitos if I needed to be picky, but inevitable here - Siem Reap - anyway, and always provided with biologically developed repellent)

Lovely hotel! The room was very big and had a nice balcony (although couldn’t sit out there because of the mosquitos!) the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. There wasn’t much choice for veggie/vegan breakfast but it was ok. It’s about a 30min walk to the main town but easy and cheap to get Tuk Tuk. Really enjoyed our stay here, would recommend 😊
I enquired about almond or soy milk before I arrived and was told there would be almond milk, but when I asked for it at breakfast they said they didn’t have any. The breakfast choices for a vegan are minimal, it would be good to include some more options.

An hotel that can be described with a single word: perfect.
Beautiful rooms, super polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast and excellent restaurant. They will organise any transport and any activity. You could not ask more.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower.
Nice area around the pool to relax.
Great tuk tuk rides into town which were $3 each way.
Booked a guide and tuk tuk for the day at reception to visit Angkor Wat which was fantastic.
Had nice spa treatments.
Service a bit lacking at times at breakfast and for drinks around the pool.
Fixtures and fittings in the room are a bit tired but overall comfortable and clean.

Everything was perfect! Excellent welcome, free transfer from/to the airport, room was spacious and very clean, and very calm, the big pool was very nice with luxurious vegetation all around (we didn’t go to the other pool), happy hour was great - half off, so the beers at the pool were extra refreshing, restaurant was excellent, really can’t recommend going anywhere else. They helped with the tour around Angkor Wat (thanks Mr. Ral !!) Staff at the restaurant and at breakfast were extremely professional, great service. They even had slippers for the room, and flip flops for the pool. One of the best hotels we’ve been to.

Lovely hotel with long relaxing quiet pool, delicious breakfast, very comfortable rooms and exceptional service from the staff. Rama helped organise our trips and even acted as tour guide on one and when we left some clothes behind he brought them to us by scooter - Outstanding !

The breakfast was superb. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff were without exception polite and friendly. This is a superb place to stay.
We were happy with eveything

The hotel itself is in a decent location, not too far from all the main sights. Having said that, we travelled everywhere by private car or tuk-tuk. Walking around not easy in the heat, and there is quite a distance between temples and some sights. We booked the family suite, which was pretty large, (with 3 bathrooms) though the kids twin room was quite tight with the 3rd bed. The hotel has one large pool and a smaller one near the restaurant. All the rooms have a nice balcony on to the pool side.
The rooms were a bit dark, probably due to the traditional furniture. The breakfast options were slightly limited.

The ambience of the hotel was just beautiful and the staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. Rooms were beautifully appointed and decorated with local fittings and artwork. The location was well located for getting to Angkor Wat yet still just a short ride to town. Mr Rama looked after us beautifully. Two lovely serene pools to swim in.

The air conditinoner in the room was a little noisy and couldn't adjust that.

The property was so beautiful- green, beautifully designed , the rooms were spacious, having access to fresh water filter in the room was amazing, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, but most of all- the staff was fantastic, especially Rama. Rama was so responsive, helpful and efficient; he helped us book every activity we wanted to do .

the location was perfect. away from all noise. not an awful high rise complex. felt like an intimate guesthouse. extremely private and setting within hotel lovely. gorgeous garden setting.
the lighting in the room was very dark. the air conditioner quite noisy. we thought it was a result of Covid and the hotel being shut for so 2 years. The town still wasn’t very crowded.

The whole stay in Siem Reap was great. Our room was gorgeous - with bath and shower and amazingly comfortable bed.
Staff were fantastic - especially Rama who organised our guide for Angkor Wat (Nara - who was great!) and bike rentals as well as sorting us out a new room in the hotel (and cancelling and reorganising our transfer to the bus) at short notice when we had to stay an extra night because of food poisoning (from a local restaurant - not the hotel!)
The pool was lovely - the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing..
The restaurant was also very good - and unusually for a hotel - reasonabaly priced.
Recommend for a stay in Siem Reap!
Nothing - all perfect!

Wonderful cozy and stylish hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent restaurant with both quality food and service.
The neighbor's roosters (starting screaming at 4:30 ) waste the stay.

For sure the staff! Everybody was very kind and took care of us, especially Rama. He organized everything for us and made sure that everything worked well till the end. We felt very comfortable. Also the driver Sophal was very kind and took care of us.
The Hotel is very well equipped - they even have filtered drink water in the rooms, good selection of breakfast and make sure to get a treatment / massage from their spa, highly recommended! You can reach everything with the TukTuk (Sophal) - if I will come
back, I would choose Montra Nivesha again.

During my stay $700 went missing from the safe in my room. Cash that I brought on holiday was kept in an envelope within the safe so I am certain of the amount as I have budgeted precisely to pay for our next hotel.
I have realised this when I packing for my flight and have gone to report the missing cash to the reception. To my shock nobody seemed surprised that it occurred. I have never received an apology or was asked to write a statement about the incident in order to document what precisely happened.
Post factum I reverted to trip advisor and booking.com reviews about the hotel and saw that within the last 7 months this was the 3rd case of theft reported by a guest. We followed up the next day with an email outlining what exactly transpired, asking to investigate and update us with any developments. The response was from Mr Bunthik Pov and besides the confirmation that the room was only visited by staff, a considerate amount of correspondence was also insinuating I was lying, trying to extort. The cherry on top was Mr Pov saying this only happens to Russian tourists and not just at their hotel but all around the world.
From the very beginning I have been adamant I didn't need the refund in any capacity. I only wanted the hotel to investigate, report it to the police and at least apologize. In case the money were recovered I asked them to donate the amount through my friend who lives in Siem Reap and works in charity. The response I received was essentially a warning (some may see it as a threat) that if the hotel reputations suffers in any capacity that said friend would be legally responsible for that.
To the director: Mr Pov, you are completely incompetent and the reputation of the hotel is only in question because of how you handle these situations by covering up thefts and being xenophobic. This could have been resolved with one apology email.

Wonderful place to stay! The owner has a great sense of design, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The hotel is immaculate. We enjoyed some lazy breakfasts by the pool, and the food was consistently to a high standard. Appreciated the made to order breakfasts, such as egg white omelette with tomato confit, stuffed french toast with passion fruit etc. along with some really good espresso! The chef also arranged tasty picnics for our sunrise tour and hike on Mount Kulen.
We were based at the hotel for a week so the filtered water on tap in the room was a great bonus. It is about a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride to downtown, but still feels really close to everything.

The hotel contacted us before our stay and sent transport to pick us up from our previous hotel. They were so welcoming when we arrived, couldn't do more to help. They also arranged transport to the airport for us when we departed.
Couldn't fault our stay there. It is slightly out of the city centre but we loved that.

Very nice room, but WiFi very poor.
WiFi was terrible. Staff knows this is an ongoing problem and that system needs to be upgraded. Very slow downloads and Zoom calls froze. Since I planned a 4 night stay, I left. Hotel didn’t charge me for reservation. At a hotel close by, WiFi was excellent.
