The photos and other reviews don’t do this place Justice. If you’re thinking of booking here just do it! no hesitation. I was at first concerned that it may look a bit tacky or over the top. It honestly was such a luxurious stay, and the owner and team were exceptionally hospitable! the Pool is beautiful heated and comfy, let the fountain run for a time to get it nice and warm. the bath is superb, the showers are luxurious and and the slight golden finish on everything does actually add a nice flair to the place.
Not much to say isn’t likeable. the only thing is that the TV controls were really confusing and it didn’t work very well and often froze.

The Location
The bed was very hard
The pool was not working half of the time
The water jets were working some of the time.

Amazing place for a couple to unwind and relax

Staff are friendly and helpful. The gardens are nice.
The listing says "The Castle features 2 wings, separated by a day spa which offers a sauna" but this was "closed for renovations". The plunge pool was cold.
The "included breakfast" was actually a couple of $50 vouchers towards breakfast at nearby cafes. These cafes were very nice but $50 doesn't cover full breakfast with coffee and when paying over $550/night for a romantic getaway I expect the breakfast to be onsite and the advertised spa facilities to be open.
I would've preferred a quality breakfast hamper instead of under-priced café vouchers.

a bit dirty/ the upstairs aircon didn’t work for how much we paid for it but was still gorgeous to stay in

Such a lovely get away, great location, the heated plunge pool was lovely. This was our second stay. My husband and I both have food allergies which was not a problem.

So pretty! lots of flowers. complimentary breakfast was amazing.
a lot of the things weren’t working-the water fall at the pool, no restaurant for dinner, (but lovely breakfast brought to the door). over the phone the staff were not nice but once we got there we were treated extremely well.

The Castle was amazing from outside to inside. The room it self was beautifully decorated and was extremely clean and well kept. The spa bath was a great way to relax and I don’t think anything could beat the incredible feeling of the plunge pool in the privacy of your own room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful the entire time and I really enjoyed everything about the experience
Leaving was the only part I didn’t like as it was so beautiful you didn’t want to leave

from the moment we arrived we were impressed with our orientation. Cheryl and Nick gave us a run down of the area and how to use everything in our suite. we felt very welcomed.
The breakfast is to die for! Two courses and restaurant quality. The lady who brought breakfast everyday was so lovely!!
The private plunge pool was a treat.
The small details also made it an awesome stay- welcome bottle of bubbles with gold flakes - firewood- robes- leaf tea - ground coffee- bottled water just to name a few. if you want a real couples treat, definitely book the castle suites.
Nothing!
