enjoyable and pleasant surrounds, very noisy motor bikes travelling on mountain road

Very dark areas to walk to pubs and restaurants, no street lighting for safety after 6-6.30

Great accomodation on the edge of the rain forest

We had a one bed suite on the ground floor and it was very comfortable and had an amazing garden view to the stream .A convenient short walk to the cafe near the start of the Curtis Falls walk which provided a great indian meal in the evening.A 3 minute drive to other nice restuarants. The food at Baileys was excellent.

Facilities were very good but as it can get wet being in the rainforest a washer and dryer would be a nice addition.

There's not much to dislike. The only thing would be that the driveway needs to be finished so that the place looks perfect from the front

Very comfortable overall. Could not locate a lock to the guest lounge double door to secure at night

Very comfortable bed. Efficient air conditioned heating. Plenty of HW for spa bath. Pleasant welcome from Alan. Good location.

Cobweb noticed on bedside lampshade! Overall 4.5 star.

The only thing I don't like is Television. No internet connection to TV. Very boring watching to use DVD and normal TV channels. They have to improve that facilities

Beautiful and romantic destination in the hinterland.

The property is beautiful and the location is superb. Having the private backyard with a rock stream made this an absolute delight.

Beautiful guesthouse close to everything

The second you walk into reception, you know you're going to have a great stay! You walk into what feels like your nan's lounge with the warm timbers, homely furniture and an even warmer welcome from Hector! Nothing is too hard, super friendly and extremely accommodating. He even let us check out all of the available rooms to pick the one we wanted! He was never too busy for a chat and a laugh and really made it feel like a home rather than a guesthouse. With a super comfy bed and very clean amenities. Being up here for a wedding, it was important to be close to everything and everyone without compromising on quality. We'll definitely be back!

it was very disapointing.

bed was very good clean sheets ,a cockroach was in the room

the site advertises a fireplace .it was electric not producing any real heat . it was the reason we booked and paid more .

The property was clean and was going with a theme of english Victorian which it hit the mark.

Location was good nice had a creek on the grounds in the rear of the property. It was close to a lot of cafes restaurants and some lovely bush walks.

The front reception area had a smell to it which i didn't like. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was loud and could not be switched off. Our room was tidied while we were out however when we returned our clothes and belongings that were on the bed were put on the floor? There was no option to not clean the room.

If you want to simply relax and enjoy a Scottish themed getaway then this is the place for you.

Everything about this place is fantastic, the location, the atmosphere, the staff and I will certainly be back with out a doubt

Peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, small fridge in the room, tea and coffee provided.

The lighting in the room was a little dim so we were not able to read our books.

The bed was really comfortable, loved the spa bath and the location. Our room was lovely and warm when we arrived on a chilly day.

Great Getaway on the Mountain.

We could not have been happier with our room, the area and all the facilities at Stonehaven. Within easy walking distance to Restaurants, and we walked to Gallery Walk shops. It was the perfect location for our getaway. Cannot wait to get back. Great location, clean room, great service, spent a few days and was fantastic, will definitely be back again next year and will book at the same place, nice quiet place and everyone was welcoming.
