Absolutely Brilliant!! Could not recommend Scorci Di Mare highly enough..The location is the absolute best in Riomaggiore, right above the boatramp with lots of great restaurants & coffee spots with views to die for!
2 minute walk to the main shopping area/restaurants/ bars etc as well.
Paolo & the team were also fantastic, so helpful & spent ages with us chatting about where to go & what to see with more of a local take rather than as a tourist.
The room was gorgeous also, very beachy feel, super comfortable bed, coffee machine with pods supplied & assortment of different tea.
Loved this place!!
Nothing! Everything was fantastic..

The location was excellent on water front with sunset views over the ocean from our room! The room accommodated our family of four comfortably, plenty of hot water for showers, air conditioning worked well, and kitchen was stocked adequately although we only used the refrigerator and never cooked anything. We did utilize the clothes hang drying lines outside our windows which was convenient as well. Paolo met us upon arrival, provided maps, and offered his assistance if needed. Check out was simple. Would definitely return!
Every little to not like! The bedroom window had a little trouble closing but we mentioned it to Paolo and he took care of it. The location, facilities and everything was great so hard to find something we didn't like.

View over the harbour. Absolutely on the water. Italians are late risers so I swam early in the morning and had the harbour to myself. The restraurant recommended was less than 10 metres from our front door and the meals were outstanding while overlooking the harbour.
nothing to really add.

Fantastic room and located in one of the best spots in the village. Paulo was a great host and was very responsive to messages. He allowed to store our luggage early in the day before we checked in. The room had a great view over Riomaggiore harbour. Very easy to find and Paulo was very friendly and informative.
We like everything.

fabulous location- right at the water.
I wouldn’t say I disliked anything. just be aware there are many steps and it can be noisy at night.

The view outside of the ocean and surrounding buildings is charming. The bed was large and they were able to provide the extra pillow we requested. Some bottled filtered water in the fridge and some snacks are a nice touch.
Getting to this location and getting up to the room is not ideal for aging boomers. We were told we would be met at the train station, but when we got there, we were informed that the person was tied up with other guests. We had packed light, knowing that the trains and Cinque Terre are not compatible with heavy luggage. But still, the trek from the station, with multiple stairscases and up and down steps, is not an easy task. If I was not in good shape at almost 70 years old, I don't know if we would have made it there. Then once you reach the place, it was two flights of narrow staircases to get to the room. Fortunately, one of the gentlemen did carry the suitcases up for us. My wife was not happy with the stair climbing. Add in a coffee maker that was non-functional, a shower that is as cramped as the smallest cruise ship shower you've ever been in, and a lot of noise from the unit above us, this was not a place we would stay in again.

Great location close to the see! amazing view! service was excellent!
the only thing is that you need to travel quite light in terms of baggage. Access is difficult (a lot of stairs) and big bags can be a problem

The view was incredible. The staff was very helpful. It was very quite this time of year so it was nice because it seemed like it was just us. The bed was huge and stuff but I think it was a comfortable stiff
I would have preferred an extra towel in the room. But over all it was fabulous. I will absolutely stay here again
Something to be aware of which has nothing to do with the property but it is not near a beach which I did not know prior. It was not a big deal bc we visited in Nov. But something to keep in mind

Paolo was lovely to meet us in an obvious spot as I drove into Riomaggiore. He acted as tour guide, telling us the history of the wine of Cinque Terre and about the nature of Ligurians. The location was cherry! Despite the rainy and overcast chilly weather, we loved our short stay and could have easily spent more time there, if we had had it to spend. Fun to explore unlabeled paths to find lovely views and people.
I drove there since I live in Toscana, and my brother's flight arrived to Firenze. But never again. I worried that in mid-Nov, public transport would leave fewer options during to see the other villages during such a short stay. But, while it was wonderful to have a locked, single car garage, it is a (merited) extra fee. But mostly, the walk up the hill with luggage is do-able, but long. The train takes you easily everywhere and closer. The car was a liability and I would not do that again. At night, the trains were once per hour to see the other villages. We got to see Vernazza and Manarola. Lovely despite most places being closed.
