Bom, mas atendimento poderia fazer uma aula de letramento racial

O custo benefício é ótimo. Mas tive problemas com o ar condicionado nos primeiros dias. Arrumaram só no último. E um atendente foi racista...

Um atendente foi racista... Cheguei um pouco mais tarde na pousada, que estava com meu namorado (somos pretos) e mesmo com a reserva no meu nome ele achou que eu era uma prostituta indo pro quarto com ele. Fico pensando se fosse um casal branco se ele acharia que é um casal de pessoas casadas e não um cara levando uma prostituta pro quarto. Detalhe: eu estava com uma camiseta e calça, não tinha roupa que indicasse QQ outra coisa....

Great for short stay

Good view over the city and located near the Corcovado and Christ the redeemer. Bit far to the beaches, but great bar area with pool on the top. Mattresses are super simple, but works.

Not the cheapest.

NÃO VÁ PARA ESTE HOSTEL

A acomodação é boa num geral funcionários receptivos … lugar afastado das famosas praias do Rio de Janeiro , um pouco perigoso de andar sozinho pois há muitos pedintes aos arredores na lapa.

A acomodação tem muuitaaassssss escadas, muitas mesmo ! O que não é nada viável subir com malas, quanto as instalações, falta cuidado com infra estrutura que parece que o proprietário finge que não vê, tais como janelas e fechaduras quebradas, falta de sinalização e comunicação entre equipe e hóspedes .

perfect stay

This Hostel is just perfekt. It has everything you need and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We would like to thank especially Pimenta for helping us and for making us feel at home. We can totally recomend this Hostel to further travelers. Close to the beach and to the center and very clean.

Good hostel with nice terrace and swimming pool. The staff was really nice and helpful. Situated in a nice area. 5 mn walk from the famous stairs Escadaria Selaron.

The kitchen needs to be renovated with some decorations and painting on the walls. Pots and pans needs to be change also. Some long chairs and hammocks would be appreciated in the swimming pool area.

Overall a great stay

Great area for accessing lots of the main tourist spots. The room was good and the staff were very friendly. Great breakfast and social spaces

Very loud location due to Lapa. Quite difficult to get to by public transport, without a big walk up the hill. Kitchen is very limited

close to attractions in centro. very clean and great staff.

Quite basic. My mattress was old and not comfortable. location is supposed to be safe during the day, but one person was still robbed in broad daytime near the hostel. this is not the hostel’s fault, just remember you are in a city with lots of violent crimes. be careful wherever you are in the city.

Going to miss everyone here, and this place, and the little forest and the views.

Staff are great. Room great. Especially view. Bar great. Kitchen needs a few more things in it, but felt like home. Hard to leave. Love the steps up. Free workout every day. And the view makes it worth it. Oh, and the artwork is extraordinary !!

Wifi a little irregular but in all fairness something was always done about it. I am guessing its a common problem at times when everyone is using it.

Superb

The included breakfast was very decent, incl. juice, coffee, some cake, toast and ham/cheese. In general a really good location and reasonably quiet, but with parties/events on the weekend. The staff was really nice and helpful.

All in all a great place. The beds are not that comfortable and in the shared rooms a curtain for the beds would be great.

Disappointing

The location is great and the view is absolutely beautiful. The reception area and the common spaces are well designed and cool. The staff was friendly.

We (2people) slept in the 8 beds dormitory (upstairs on the right side). The dormitory is really small, there's literally no place for the bags, even if we were just 6 people in the dorm. I can't imagine how it looks like when it's full... There's mold on the walls, plus you can spot some cockraches in the room or in the bathroom, and finally, the matress was in such a poor state. The bathroom part was more or less clean, but there's no way to lock the shower/wc door , you can just lock the main door, which wasn't practical at all.

Great hostel in the very heart of Santa Teresa

This hostel has a gread atmosphere. The staff is great and friendly. I stayed 1 week there and I love it. The terasse is very good. Not a party hostel ( except the week-end) but a place to relax.

Lovely hostel with great art on walls.

Everything rest was great.Perfect view.Friendly staff.

Shower was malfunctioning with unstable temperatures.Too hot or too cold.Long stairs.Over 100,be ready.

BEST VIEW -old rio with a rustic feel. Santa Theresa is a gem. GREAT VALUE
