Lovely and cosy and friendly all round

I loved our stay at grayonside b&b it was so cosy stunning rooms and peaceful grounds, beautiful old farm house, we had a 2 bed room apartment with a lounge and a double shower bathroom that was huge... And it was full of character and all really cute... the breakfast was really lovely and big aswell....Tphe staff were so welcoming, lovely to chat too and really helpful, our stay was lovely all round and easy location for us to get to and from places we wanted to visit. We will definately be going back here again, we found somewhere where we felt completely at home and relaxed. A little gem Thankyou xx

Superb

Its a family owned resort Joanne was very nice. Was also accommodating of my baby that came with us at last minute. She made sure we were comfortable and we also loved the cereals and milk that were provided for breakfast, especially useful for the child. Facilities were clean too...and I loved the mints. Would definitely stay again

Excellent.

The property was excellent as where the people we dealt with, breakfast was great. Although we only stayed one night as it was a stop over on our way to a wedding i would not hesitate to stay there again should the need arise.

Beautiful location, immaculate accommodation and very well equipped. The bed was so comfortable! lovely host who even provided a welcome Easter basket with Prosecco, chocolates and hot cross buns! Highly recommend.

Cosy guest house in a beautiful location!

The most idyllic setting and beautiful place! The staff were so helpful, rooms a great size and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

I would recommend the Graysonside B&B.

Most enjoyable breakfast, super accommodating hostess and friendly staff. Good / secure car parking facilities on site. 3 minutes drive to/from Cockermouth centre.

Watch that door lintel & don’t forget to bow to the king for your own sake. 😄

Lovely little find, wonderful host and delightful breakfast!

Perfect location for the wedding we were attending at Low Hall. The room was so spacious which was perfect as we had our 1 year old with us. Really great value for money too; two rooms, living area and large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the host a delight. Wouldn't hesitate to return if we are ever in the area again.

Seeing is believing and we wished we had booked for longer.

Absolutely everything about Graysonside was exceptional. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and the bed was just so comfortable! Breakfast was delicious and beautifully cooked and presented. Oliver our waiter was awesome, polite, attentive , friendly, but not intrusive. Janette, our hostess was so kind, considerate, knowledgeable about the local facilities, warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Graysonside and are looking forward to our next opportunity to revisit.

Great quality, good value stay.

Spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Very convenient for the lovely market town of Cockermouth as well as the western side of the lakes. Janette is a great host and provided loads of useful information about the area. Gluten-free well catered for. Loads of safe, off-road parking.

It wasn’t a problem for us but traffic noise from the A66 nearby might be problematic for some.

Great location run by the very best of proprietors we have ever met. Jeanette could not be more friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The Garden Studio was a upgrade to our original booking & it was superb in every way. The breakfast was something we looked forward to each day with the service & quality of the food being spot on.

outside space, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, comfortable big bed, cleanliness. also have to mention the breakfast that was superbly looking and tasting too. thank you.

Fantastic room and wonderful hosts who went the extra mile.

The friendly owners took excellent care of us, answering all our questions and giving us tips about the area. They went the extra mile for a birthday. The grounds were lovely, with different seating areas to catch the morning and evening sun: we enjoyed serenading the sheep with our music practice. The breakfast was delicious.

We were a bit confused about some aspects of the breakfast system, but no worries, we soon got the hang of it.

Amazing! Would stay again.

The breakfast was amazing. We had a list to select our breakfast for each morning and as we got down there were cereal and pastries that we could also have as well as what we had ordered. The food was fresh and drinks to accompany were just spot on. Location. We stayed as we were attending a wedding not far away on the lake. It was roughly 10minutes drive to and from and the next day they offered to drive us to collect our car which was amazing as we didn't have to pay for another taxi to collect our car from the venue. Staff. The staff were lovely, warm greeting when we got there even though it was past 9 at night, amazing service from all during the day. Comfort. Normally i can't sleep in a strange place but as soon as i hit the pillow i was out like a light, the bed pillows were soo comfy. In all, me and my partner said if we were ever up that area for something else we would definitely check to see if there were any rooms left and stay again.

Cannot recommend enough.

Fabulous place - absolutely lovely people who are welcoming, friendly & happy to do anything to make their guest's stay special. Views everything you could hope for in a Lake District stay. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, super comfortable, immaculately clean with many very thoughtful touches such as local produce & White Co mpany toiletries. They also very much deserve the award tbey have won for their breakfasts & the lovely young women who looked after everyone at breakfast deserves an award of her own. Relaxing, unpretentious & like being wrapped up in a big cosy blanket.

Hand on heart, dislike & this place do not belong together in the same sentence.

Just perfect. Modern, contemporary design, pristine cleanliness. Welcome pack including flowers, Prosecco, tea, coffee, milk etc. Appliances for cooking. Host was friendly and caring.
