This was a great location for our family to gather. The road getting in was a little iffy, but once there it was a dream. Plenty of space for multiple families and ages. Close to activities as well.

This property was wonderful for our family! We had a great time and the cabin was fully furnished. It also was in a great place close to town.

We are a big family and the Miller Lodge is perfect. Very clean and in excellent condition. The checkin was simple and the manager Gene is great. He even ran down a baby gate to help us coral the little one. You have to try this one.

This was an ideal spot for our friends group to reunite. The facilities were superb. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our large group. We loved being able to gather on the deck and watch the river. It was very peaceful outside. The inside open area got a little noisy at times with all our kids running around, so we spent a lot of time on the deck! :)

This property is as advertised. The only negative is the spotty WiFi but we knew that coming in. Excellent communication by Gene.

We were beyond impressed with our stay. The house was clean and check in was easy. It is in a great location and made this trip a dream. The house was spacious and allowed for all our loved ones to enjoy themselves comfortably, not to mention the house had wonderful amenities. This house quite literally has everything you will ever need. The host was very kind and replied quickly with anything we needed. We have all decided this will become an annual vacation and rebook the same house!

This is a beautiful, well-kept house. Plenty of room for our family. Two living rooms, two kitchens, three laundry rooms, game room, and a little play area with blocks and toys for the 18 month old. One son-in-law said it was the best house we’ve stayed in yet.

Our family came up to ride the polar express train. We had 8 adults and 4 kids. We loved the house! It was great for everyone, grandparents, parents and kids! We’d love to come back next year!

Decided this year instead of spending money on presents for our children and grandchildren we would make memories together..oh we made memories alright..We got married in the living room after being together for 10 years.. The cabin was large enough for family to either spend time together or spend some alone time..very accommodating of a large family
Can't wait to return.!

Our family cabin trip was great. The Miller Family Lodge was laid out wonderful for our family of 14 ages 6mos-83yrs. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and supplies. The road to the cabin was lit and not that bad. We were disappointed that the hot tub did not work for our 5 night stay. We enjoyed the Polar Express, Bryson City Brewery, Smokemout Riding stables, hiking Tom Branch and Indian Creek Falls, Cherokee Casino and lots of shopping. Lots of Family memories made at the Miller Family Lodge 2023.

We were a group of family and friends whose son got married at Parker Mill. The lodge was very convenient to the venue and also not too far to the grocery store in town. The lodge itself was fantastic with plenty of very comfortable bedrooms for our guests. Kitchen was well appointed. The road in and driveway was the reason for 4 stars as we didn't dare attempt that road at night. Beautiful lodge, do note it is not a clear view of the river as shown in pictures, there are many trees directly in front of the house. Lot's and lot's of room for guests to spread out upstairs and down. Host was absolutely fantastic to work with!

I stayed here with 16 of my friends and family for my bachelor party. It’s a beautiful home with a great location and a beautiful view of the mountains and river. Highly recommend staying here

Everything was nearly perfect except for the fact that there was no internet. The ISP modem/router was unplugged when we arrived. Plugging it back in resulted in unusable internet speeds (0.48 Mbps download & 0.08 Mbps upload). Offering internet was one of the reasons we chose this rental so some of our party would be able to address work calls & a high schooler could complete an online homework assignment. Lack of internet caused some stress & internet shouldn't be advertised as a feature on this listing.

The cabin was beautiful! The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and grilling. The area was peaceful. Some of our group went to local attractions while the rest of us stayed and annoyed the porch. This is a great place for multiple family gatherings.

Our family had a wonderful time and really enjoyed staying at the Miller House…..so warm and inviting!
FYI: The left kitchen bar stool, living room coffee tables, and ping pong table were pretty wobbly so tried to avoid using them much so as not to break them. Tried to leave everything the way we found it so hope we did good😄!!

Being in the mountains you expect poor cell service, but with that you need good Wi-Fi, and this house has awful Wi-Fi that needs to be upgraded badly. Even simple tasks like email or social media was struggling.
Other than that the house is 5 stars and would recommend.

This property is very well maintained. It is set up for wheelchair accessibility and was fantastic for my wheelchair bound wife to be able to enjoy her time with our children and grandchildren. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and cooking utensils needed to prepare meals.
Our grandkids enjoyed the game room and the jacuzzi. It was a great place to reconnect, relax, and refresh! I highly recommend this property. It is truly first class.

This home was huge and had a nice variety of spaces for our large group! It was well stocked! We loved the huge table for meals and playing games. We had a lot of fun with tubing, hikes, rafting, and other adventures nearby.

This was a perfect location and house for our family gathering! Our five grandsons enjoyed the game room and the adults loved the porch with rocking chairs. The kitchen was well equipped, and it even had a table large enough for all twelve of us! I highly recommend it!

This was our second stay at this property. There were 14 of us- 3 families with 8 total kids. Could not ask for a better hub to explore NC. Perfect for our group and the host is always so responsive and kind. Hope to be back again in another 2 years!

The house was fantastic for our group of 12 guys. Comfortable beds, spacious hang out areas, beautiful views and a great kitchen. We loved the place and if I planned the trip again, 100% would have stayed here.

This was a great property, I just wish the rest of my group hadn't bailed last minute :(
The layout and amenities of the cabin were fantastic. Only flaw was the WI-FI not really working, but that is to be expected up in the mountains anyway, and heck, better to just turn off for the weekend!
Host was very responsive when asked anything, but most things were self explanatory and made as easy as possible for the customer (check in/check out procedures). Great location for access to Cherokee and Bryson City.
Will definitely look to use again if we have a big group, though I wll get payment up front from folks next time :)

Stayed here for opening day of Cherokee Trout fishing. Was a wonderful time, beautiful cabin, and we all had a blast. Each of us had our own beds and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only con we had was that this was a little above our usual price-cost. Despite being an expensive weekend, we had fun and the cabin was great.

What a perfect home for a family vacation! The ages ranged from 3 years old to 80 years old and we all had a blast.
The Miller Family Lodge had all of the amenities we needed, including a highchair and baby gates. We loved having both a regular coffee pot and Keurig. The magic bullet was very convenient for my morning shakes (I hate dirtying up a blender…). Plenty of Tupperware and cookware.
The home was large enough for us to be able to spread out, but the main living area was also spacious enough so that we could all be together. We really loved the game room- it was fun for everyone, especially on the rainy days. Plenty of bathrooms, no one was ever waiting for a free bathroom. This is also due to each room having a sink. You can brush your teeth, wash your hands and face in your room rather than hogging the bathroom. Each room has a wonderful view.
One thing to note is that our firsr drive up the mountain was a little scary, but by the end of the trip, we were pros. I would suggest arriving during daylight to get your bearings of the roads, potholes, etc. The Miller Lodge has plenty of parking.
We had such a wonderful family vacation at The Miller Family lodge. We were able to meet a few of the Millers and they were lovely and helpful- it made us enjoy and appreciate their home even more. We would definitely rent this home again!

We celebrated my husbands birthday this past weekend and wanted to find a cabin close by the Harrah’s casino. This location was perfect, so much space, very clean/well kept property! The beds were so comfortable and the views were amazing! Gene was very responsive to our messages. We will be coming back for sure.

The lodge is the best, stocked well with lots of room. It will be our "to go" place when we need to get together with kids and grandkids. Everyone absolutely loved it!!

My whole family (13 of us) ages 1-67 all had a fantastic time. It was big enough for all of us, cozy, and well equipped with everything we could need. Thank you!

The Lodge was beautiful and had plenty of space for our family to hang out together, or to find a quiet corner. We had a great time and plan on returning. A few notes from our stay: The pads of the ping pong paddles were pealing or chewed up and some of the balls were bent; the dart board, bumper pool, and air hockey tabled were broken. When I brought this up to Gene’s attention, he and Dave quickly responded with new ping pong paddles/balls, dart board, and spent a lengthy time trying to see if the bumper pool table and air hockey table could be repaired (they could not). My family appreciated their response and effort. Wi-fi is slow, so if you plan to work during your stay, you should be aware of that (it is suggested that no more than 5 devices be connected at a time). The road up to The Lodge is a tricky, one lane, dirt/gravel road with blind spots.
