Gav and his team are just wonderful people! We love the singing,we love the vibe! Keep doing what you do man! Brilliant! It's just down the road for us, and we will go again and again 👍
It was all spot on

The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. There is no cooked breakfast provided but you can order cereals and fruit the night before and it is left on a tray outside your room with the milk in a flask We had not ordered the next days breakfast due to returning quite late and the staff had still provided a breakfast for us. Great service.

Accommodation clean and modern. Staff very friendly. Main course food very nice.
Could have offered a better breakfast. We stayed on a Saturday night and nowhere to have breakfast Sunday morning. Food nice although the prawn starter was overpriced for what we received.
4.5
The facilities were beautiful and cosy
The staff were really nice
The entertainment was brilliant (pool and darts)
The breakfast was basic and small but cute that it got left outside the room.
The room was beautiful but shame there was no lamps and not sound proof so could hear everyone drinking and laughing until 2am

The staff were very friendly and lovely, made you feel welcome and at home. the prices were nice and the portions massive. there was no noise from the pub which was great and the rooms are ideally located not far from the car park.

Location was ideal for us having a meeting in Hull the following day- driving over the bridge only cost £1.50.
Rooms were comfy and well appointed and staff very friendly and welcoming. Evening meal we had was good value for money.
We ate breakfast at the local post office/cafe.

The rooms in this village inn are recently refurbished to a good standard. Very fair rate, breakfast option was provided as a choice for delivery the evening before which worked well for me. The landlord also has a microbrewery and serves his own beer. Food was hearty and good. It was Burn's Night so there was a piper for the folk who had bought tickets.
My room was really hot - I turned down the room radiator but I couldn't shut down the bathroom rad. It was only one night so I didn't mention. Everything else was very good.

Clean, warm and comfortable. Excellent shower.
No breakfast. I arrived late due to reaffic so couldn't place my breakfast order before staff left. However, excellent breakfast at Post Office cafe nearby.
3.5
Very clean and up to date rooms, comfortable, good linen and towels, nice bathroom.
Breakfast. Advertised as a continental breakfast, and as “Good” at point of sale on this site, it was neither. A choice of cereals left by your room isn’t a continental breakfast, it’s a packet of cereals. If you have some tea left out of the room supplies you can have a cup with your brekkie too. Really not a fair description and not helped by the owners rather defensive and impatient response to my comments. “It’s not realistic to pay staff” is something I don’t need to hear, and the lack of what was advertised made this a rather poorer value for money than it could have been. Why not just go room only?
3.5
Continental cold breakfast on a tray to your door.
If you love English pubs this is great!
No provision for a cooked breakfast
3.5
Good quite pub and setting.
No bedside lamps, only ceiling light operated with switch from one side of bed, the side without the light switch needed a torch or a stumble in dark. The shower needs looking at, as when turning it on it took over 5 minutes to settle to a useable temperature. Breakfast was advertised as in room, however, the pub has a lovely thriving restaurant and a cooked breakfast (of course paid for) would be really good - instead of being advised, on arrival, that the cafe opposite did a really good cooked breakfasts.

Friendly staff
Shower control stuck resulting in temperature much too hot for purpose. Hotel has no onsite presence and our departure was very early.Bar a little noisy but drinkers very pleasant
