OK for overnight stay.

The breakfast was very good, nice bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

The lighting was appalling two bedside lights with not very bright bulbs - no overhead light at all - very difficult to read. The room was basic and do not understand why you have to pay extra for a room with tea and coffee facilities - this should be standard.

An OK stay but wouldn’t stay again

We stayed here for one night and can safely say i would not want to have stayed longer. We have stayed in 5* hotels for less cost than this hotel. Personally, I think this hotel plays on the Quinta Do Lago location! The hotel in itself was ‘ok’ and the staff are polite. However, the pool area is incredibly small, the rooms are compact and by all accounts the walls are thin 😁 Our neighbours next door clearly had a good night 😁 😆

I was amazed when I drive on to the site of The Magnolia. It was much small and “motel-like”

The website/ Booking.com gave the impression that the hotel had wider facilities than reality. ( eg beach bar ) The hotel was more like a Las Vagas motel - an impression which was not portrayed online

“Suite “ which I had booked was in fact a modular unit ir “ portacabin” The bar/ pool area was not impressive

Excellent and exceeded expectations for our mini break in the sun

Good breakfast in a nice environment, with excellent staff. Loved poolside lunches, excellent menu and great food. Staff were without exception excellent. The hotel was absolutely spotless, in every area. Beds very comfortable, good bathrooms and amenties. Everything east, convenient, accessible and a bit more, it was really nice to be there

Fabulous staff but attention to small things missed.

Great staff. So polite and an excellent breakfast.

Rooms were not well equipped. No water in rooms on arrival or coffee machine in suite. However there was a sleep hub machine that i thought eas odd when basics had been missed.

the receptionist told me that all clients had been informed , having checked emails and junk I definitely was not inform

I have stayed at the magnolia many times and I really like the hotel for convenience of the location and , the staff are great , having stayed over Christmas and new year in 2021 when the weather was amazing for the time of year I came over again for Chris amd new year , I was very disappointed that I had not been informed either by the hotels website or booking.com that the pool was empty and taped off crime scene style with builders equipment and the odd site of a builder spoiling the usually relaxed view and ambience

Breakfast was great, lots of options and all really nice.

The rooms on the top floor were really small, the bathroom couldn't fit 2 people in. I did move onto a room on the bottom floor and this was a lot better.

great movie night. good location. good value. very stylish, great bicycles pleasant staff.

the rooms are small. although we have previously stayed in the cottages that are A1 tops in every every way.

Disappointing

Rooms are very very small. I had expected a small room but this was even smaller than I expected. The hotel is basic enough but very expensive for what you get. We paid more than 300euro for one night and the hotel did not match our expectations. I think there is much better value in Self Catering Acc in the golden triangle.
