Very helpful and friendly owner, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and even took our children for a quick tour of the farm.

History of the building, beautiful house and gardens.
Location was rural but not too far from attractions. Views of the area were beautiful.
Still a working farm. Friendly and welcoming hosts, including their dog.

Great location perfect for Longleat Safari Park with our daughter. Huge room for us as a family. Very friendly and personable hosts made us very welcome. Loved that our daughter was made so welcome and that her breakfast was brought out first so she didn’t have to wait, makes all the difference with a toddler.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Cools Farm in the depths of Wiltshire, loved all the animals and Maggie our fabulous host really went above and beyond for me, taking the trouble to search for, find and send to me my 2 passports I had stupidly left behind. Saved me a tidy sum in cancelled flights to Australia and getting new passports. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Maggie!

Location very rural. Lovely countryside, beautiful villages surrounding.
Bit noisy as can be expected on a farm. Early morning wake-up calls by roosters - not great if light sleeper.

The hosts were fantastic, the house was beautiful and so was the surroundings, the breakfast was also fantastic, what can we say but I would recommend 100%

Location awesome , Maggie the perfect host, breakfast totally yummy, bed very comfortable
Wi-Fi non existent, no doubt due to the very thick walls .. for most that’s probably a blessing but for me limited things I needed to do.

Fantastic rural location
Lovely hosts, very helpful and friendly (also lovely friendly Jack Russel - and I'm not normally a dog person). Any request, just ask them.
Old farm house full of character
Comfortable large double bed
Within 25 min of Longleat and Stonehenge
Triple room a little difficult to navigate for tall people, as in the attic, but we didn't mind too much
My daughter said the futon bed was very hard

Interesting!!
A bit remote.

Very much in the heart of a working farm, in peaceful countryside
Clean but a little tired, would have been a lovely bonus to have some basics of teabags and coffee provided in the self catering apartment.

*Very comfy bed and duvet
*Adore the chickens and Cockerel who are roaming about and will probably meet you on arrival
*Beautiful bird song and tranquil evening setting.
*Pretty little lake out front.
*All cups/plates/bottle opener/tin openers/kitchen wear you may need.
*Towel rail and good hairdryer provided
*I know this is a working farm but did not quite realise how close the apartment I booked was to the work if that makes sense. On arrival the tractor was right out the back window of the small apartment stacking hay- the apartment backs right onto the hay shed, make sure to shut the blind to the toilet! Haha. On both Saturday and Sunday morning the tractor was working from 7:30am during my stay.. If you are looking for a morning lay in then be aware of this. The cockerel and hens and cows are also quite active around the same time.)
*Confused where to park for the apartment I was allocated to. Think it's just the space directly out front if you get the tractor shed. There is a small space for 3 cars up by the main house.
*Remote batteries held in by 2 plasters.
*Shower head held to wall with elastic bands.
*Hot water ran out before my partner could use the shower after I washed my hair.
*Door knocked in the morning around 9:20 and was asked to pay. I had only just got up. I was confused as I thought Booking.com would charge my payment card already provided. Then I was asked when I was leaving as new guests were arriving soon. Booking.com has the check out time as 11am so not sure if there is confusion somewhere with this. I did a bank transfer to pay.
*Door from living room is locked. Think there is another apartment the other side but I stayed one night by myself and found that a little unnerving as I didn't know what was the other side.

Nowhere to put clothes. Draws and cupboards were full

Lovely farm location with chickens across the lane, and sheep with lambs in the farmyard - nice view of them from the kitchen window.
Bit difficult to control the heating. Lovely and cosy when I arrived, but then a bit too warm.

Lovely people! Very welcoming and helpful! Thanks for having us - didn't want to leave. Very quiet and handy location, the stars were superb at night and the cows were surprisingly quiet and not a hint of "farm smell" (I live next to a dairy farm so this was a surprise)! Parking just outside (for the Tractor Shed) Excellent comfy and fresh bed with extra bedding should it be needed, wasn't disturbed once by everyday farm activities, bedroom rather quiet. Everything clean and fresh enough! The kitchen small but great facilities, the utensils, pots/pans etc, perfectly adequate, maybe just bring a good knife and peeler if you're into cooking!
Perfect for a cozy and comfortable long weekend or week away.
Nothing! Couldn't complain, only have some feedback - It's not very well signposted (they send very helpful directions and we knew where to go, but we had a couple knock on our door late at night to ask where the B&B was - so maybe avoid arriving in the dark)! The shower is lovely but isn't easy to turn off (it's a bit of a fiddle), may need that looked at. Also, could do with a coffee table or something for when you're sitting on the sofa and want to avoid knocking drinks over. TV is small but fine if you're not a telly watcher.

I stayed in the Tractor Shed for some rest and relaxation. I was very impressed with the space, homely feel and extremely comfy bed. Great to use as a base to explore the area with Longleat, Stourhead and Stonehenge in easy reach. I loved the countryside sounds. The weather was unfortunately very wet but I brought Lego and books to keep me entertained. There was a TV but I didn’t need to use it. The kitchen had everything I needed. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and will likely return in the future.
Nothing except are wet English weather

It was well set up, we liked the peaceful rural location and especially the self-catering facilities which were excellent (but bring your own 'salt and pepper'). We were some way from the other guests staying here so it felt that we had exclusivity. The bedroom and 'living area' had just enough space for our needs. We would happily stay here again if we were to revisit the area.
Some of the fittings, especially in the bathroom, were of the cheap 'made in China' type and wold have benefitted from a slightly more generous budget but that didn't detract from the overall pleasure of our visit.
