The cabin was cute and comfortable and the hosts super friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous location, friendly host and wonderful accommodation. The cabin is comfortable, cosy and immaculately clean, with some lovely personal touches. We really appreciated the breakfast treats. The outside space is super, and the local area is just stunning.
We hadn't appreciated that towels aren't provided, and this perhaps could have been made clearer in the description. A kitchen bin would also be a helpful addition.

Very comfortable cabin furnished really nicely and well equipped. Friendly hosts. Lovely spot.
Didn't realise towels were not included - might be worth noting this in the description. Minor point!

It was beautifully clean and very well looked after. No signs of wear and tear anywhere. I liked the quirky decor. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was small but perfectly formed and the situation and view were wonderful. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk were supplied. There was off road parking and the property had its own entrance and garden. There was a nice terrace with table and chairs with a lovely outlook. We were unlucky with the weather so we didn’t get much opportunity to sit out.
The info said there was a separate bedroom, not true. There was a sofa bed so if there were two more people everyone is in the same room. There was supposedly a stove top and a barbecue but there weren’t. The info said that breakfast was supplied. There was a box of cornflakes, a small white loaf, 4 tiny pots of jam, a dozen butter pats, 4 scones and 2 yogurts. There was also a carton of orange juice. We were there for 3 nights. To me that is not breakfast. The tv was run through a box and supposedly you could stream Netflix. We couldn’t get it working at all. We have Netflix at home so we know how it works but it didn’t work for us.

Very charming & better than a hotel room
Being in the ground of the owners property as it felt intrusive if their privacy, though am sure they don't mind....

Our stay at this place was absolutely wonderful! The cleanliness of the property was exceptional, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We were surrounded by the beauty of nature, which added to the overall delight of our experience. We had a truly delightful stay and we are already looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommended.

Super location. Lovely and tranquil. A great base for exploring Dorset and other places. Our host, Lisa and her family were extremely welcoming and helpful.
I would suggest adding an air fryer to supliment the hob.

Amazing stay. Beautiful cabin. Host was also amazing and welcoming. Will definitely be staying here again.

We loved the location -in a beautiful area.
Very peaceful and nicely decorated chalet.
Situated near to Blanford with good amenities such as a Tesco Supermarket. Also near to the property, just down the lane there was the added extra of a lovely pub.
4.8
In a quiet location, with lovely outside space. Breakfast items being provided a nice touch. Host very welcoming and happy to help. We enjoyed our stay and felt relaxed throughout.
A toaster and Microwave in the kitchen would be helpful.

Pienook exceeded all our expectations. It was plenty big enough for a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 8 and 9. Access to the garden was an added bonus...and amazing views to wake up to. Such a cozy feeling inside with everything we needed. The breakfast was a lovely well thought out hamper with some extras around the cabin such a chocolate biscuits and good coffee.
Maybe a sign outside the property to say PieNook would be good to help find the property.

We had a lovely stay; Pienook was cozy, well decorated, clean and with great facilities. Lisa was incredibly welcoming and friendly and we’d recommend anyone stay here if in the vicinity! despite cold weather Pienook was nice and warm and the bed was by far the comfiest I’ve ever stayed it. highly recommend

We were staying in the area to be close to Blanford Forum and so the location was excellent, just 10 minutes away. Lisa was extremely helpful and the cottage was perfect.

it was a lovely private little cabin, tastefully decorated and an ideal hideaway. our 5 year old loved it and keeps asking when we’re going back!
nothing to dislike, can’t fault anything

PieNook was everything we wanted and needed for a two night stay. It was in a beautiful location - it was easy to find - highly recommend looking on Google Street View before going so you know exactly where you need to park and what you're looking for! Because we had done that, it was so easy! We gave Lisa a quick call to say we had arrived and she came out to greet us and show us PieNook. We had a lovely chat and then we were left to start our holiday!
We all loved the quirkiness of the decor - its what drew us to the place! It didn't disappoint!
Lisa had left biscuits, bread, cereal, milk, sugar, tea coffee and pain au chocolat! Lovely! We loved that there was a small fridge. We brought some cheese and some veg with us and popped that in there so we could make sandwiches and snacks for our days out - save on some pennies!! If needed, there is a hot plate with a saucepan to do beans on toast etc. Toaster works fine too.
All beds were comfy - my husband enjoys a memory foam mattress more than I do, so that wouldn't have been my choice, but I slept fine. My daughter slept very well in the sofa bed too.
We loved the sound of the rain on the roof, the owls hooting at night and the cockeral in the morning. (He was in the distance - so don't let that put you off!) The goats loved to keep my daughter entertained with their bleeting when she was playing in the garden! She loved the tree swing too!!
The views were amazing.
I did have an 'oops I forgot' moment. My daughter doesn't like sleeping in the pitch black and I forgot to pack a plug night light, however, we did keep a lamp on for her which was fine.
I would say that you need a car if you intend to go to local tourist areas like Lyme Regis. If you love walking then I'm sure there are plenty of lovely walks nearby!
We were able to leave the keys safely on check out.
All in all an amazing place - highly recommend.
Nothing at all - maybe the possibility of a night light instead of using a lamp but its not an essential piece of kit as others won't worry about the dark!

I didn't really know what to expect from Pienook, but it certainly didn't disappoint. What a lovely little getaway. Milk in the fridge, coffee, tea, sugar, hot chocolate etc, breakfast basket, and a little stash of tasty biscuits. Little box of emergency essentials in the bathroom. Beautifully done out. We just loved it and would definitely stay again if it was just the 2 of us. Owners daughter came and introduced herself to us the 1st morning and had a little chat (we felt bad that we'd kept her up while waiting for us to arrive the night before as we got there later than expected, but there she was at the window to tell us where to park).
Not really didn't likes, more observations. The sofa bed is very hard and uncomfortable, so with this in mind I'd say Pienook is more suited to a couple rather than a family (rhe main bed is very comfy). Lighting in the parking area and up the steps would be useful, I suppose we really noticed this because we were back very late every night (there are outside lights once you get up the steps which were great).

Exceptional! The accomodation was such a wonderful surprise. It was so we'll presented and cosy. Lovely sweet setting, everyone we met were so welcoming. Perfect base for us to explore the area. So peaceful..The owner couldn't have been nicer. We really hope we get to stay again.

We really enjoyed staying at PieNook. The property was exactly as we anticipated and we very much enjoyed our time there.
PieNook is most definitely off the beaten track and that's one of the things we liked about it. Location-wise, if you want to be in the centre of a hullaballoo then, well, don't book here. But if you want to be within more or less half an hour of everything in Dorset then it works really well.
We are a family of two adults and two children (both aged 6). We found the property to be very snug and comfortable. The space is used very well. Our boys enjoyed playing in the garden and indeed feeding the goats (and hearing the sheep) in the mornings.
The breakfast was nice and although we had little to do with the hosts, we found them to be very approachable.
All in all, we felt this was money well spent and indeed excellent value for that money.
We were happy with everything, no complaints at all.

Lovely location. Great interior. Lovely continental breakfast. It had everything we needed. Lovely outdoor area with swing.

The cabin was much larger than I thought it would be, It was in a very quiet beautiful hamlet with almost everything you need it was very clean and well thought out with a very comfortable bed and a working shower some lovely extra touches like breakfast and milk and orange juice left in the fridge butter jam and marmalade and honey and bread tea coffee and hot chocolate even a packet of cookies in the biscuit tin which was all appreciated as the nearest shop is in Blandford forum about 15 minutes away by car but not really a problem the family were very respectful of our privacy but were on hand if needed had a very relaxing time loved it so much in fact that we have booked for next year thankyou.
The only problem I had was the lack of a bowl big enough to make a mixed salad in

Really cute. Thankyou so much for catering for my dietary needs.
Nothing. It was exactly what we expected from the description and photos.
