I would definitely return, very happy with our stay.

The locations is perfect in Airlie, easy walking distance into town. View is just gorgeous and breakfast was full of variety.

The hot breakfast options were cold - those serving dishes for the hot food does not keep the food hot enough.

Excellent place with fabulous views

Fabulous location, excellent room and facilities. Ocean deluxe room, fab view, very clean and well appointed. Good selection of teas and coffee were provided and topped up every day. Nice touch with water provided on day one in refillable metal bottles. Pool was a great size, some shade available as the sun moves round. Continental breakfast included, good value and plenty of choice. If you want hot then you can order for an additional cost but we found it not necessary. 2 min walk if that, takes you into the boardwalk, turn right out of the hotel and your at the marina and a fab waterside restaurant and bar called Sorrentos. Turn left and walk for approx ten minutes and your on the high street, you can walk through the park for the lagoon and high street is behind this. Reasonably flat walk and good for those with accessibility needs. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend.

Restaurant was very expensive. Only one vegetarian option on the main meals which was very disappointing, this was a very good meal but meant we only ate in once. QR code ordering was extremely slow so after the first time of waiting 45 mins we just went up to the bar from then on.

Staff - Mt credit card was wrongly charged AUS$1,300 and barely an apology. Car was damaged in the car park and no apology. Building works were being undertaken creating considerable noise, again no apology.

Beautiful place. Thanks to the Spanish girl and Birmingham girl in the restaurant/bar area. Lovely people Loved the room. Exceptional

Could order pizza to your room for 8 dollar delivery fee but couldn't eat it in the restaurant as it was classed as not fine dining. Which meant on my last night there, all I could eat was a bowl of chips as there was nothing on the menu for me to eat! Waitess would not offer anything different like no fish in linguine perhaps?! As a disabled person, I thought it was unfair that I couldn't eat anything and couldn't walk to another restaurant. No chicken dishes!

Great set up.. fantastic to have full bar service at the pool. Great rooms and easy walk into town centre

king room was on the side of resort and you had to keep curtains closed as there was an outdoor walkway that looked into the room.

Building noise at 6/20 on both mornings of our stay…room 111.. That was the only downside.

The perfect escape.

perfect time of year to escape the southern winter, it wasn't too busy at all. The location is perfect and walking distance to most places you need to go and the staff are more than willing to help with any question you have.

Everything was excellent, maybe a selection of cooked options with the breakfast but that is probably a little picky...

one of the best places to stay. close to everything but you really don’t need to leave at all. pool , lovely rooms and amazing staff.

water pressure in the garden room was low, toilet needs some time to fill (very noisy) and fridge was switched off when we arrived.

I'm 66yoF with medical issues and found the outdoor seating very uncomfortable. The uneven flooring of the imitation grass was an issue with my vertigo

Did not meet our expectations, not going back

The view and location was amazing.

The swimming pool was too cold to swim in. Our two bedroom apartment had a bad septic smell, maintenance tried to fix it but the smell kept coming back. We asked for our room to be re-cleaned due to poor standards. Suspicious of cleaning staff going through our belongings. The handrail on the Jetty broke off when we leaned on it to see the fish below.

Perfect

Everything was perfect. Since the reception you feel welcome, staff is kind and helpful. The resort itself is beautiful, the pool area and the "little beach" have an amazing view. You can spend the whole day there and enjoy a wonderful sunset. The room is spacious and comfortable.

Rooms were standard. Quite noisy, heard ice being emptied into a container every hr or so. Balcony was screened off but could still see people walking down the stairs so I’d say they could also see us.

Room, food, pool and dining area plus service were all excellent. It was also close to town and easy to get a taxi.

1.5% charge on credit card. It should be a flat fee or capped. Being charged $30 to process a $2k transaction just feels like you're being subtly ripped off.

staff were rude at front desk on arrival not helpful with what Airlie had to offer with experiences etc due to other events parts of resort were closed off during our stay but weren’t advised until day of which is frustrating when paying top dollar for stay no meals for room service and housekeeping don’t leave sufficient supplies had to buy own toilet paper for stay

A perfect place to relax with exceptional dinner.

Fabulous location with terrific views onto a quiet bay. Slightly disappointed that we couln't access the ocean but the hotel pool was incredibly clean and refreshing. All restaurant staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

We felt very rushed and reception staff extremely unaccommodating during check out.

Excellent.

The view from the hotel is outstanding. So beautiful with magnificent views and sunsets. The layout of the pool area was extremely comfortable all framed by the beautiful scenery. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff extremely helpful.

Exceptional

Great hotel in an excellent location by the marina. The outdoor pool/lounge/bar was a great space to relax and socialise. Room was spacious and well finished with a good view. Although its one of the more expensive hotels in Airlie, I would recommend Coral Sea if you're looking for somewhere a bit more luxurious.
