A really stellar experience.

A really well run Guest House with all needs catered for from visitor parking permit on arrival to the last hand shake and air kiss on departure. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept in, aside of my own, room decor very attractive and equipment all there. Breakfast served by Annie and cooked by Alex (the proprietors) was pre-ordered and whatever you wanted - so I enjoyed a different one each morning. Breakfast room decor was a testament to their good taste, the kindness of guests and a tribute to their travelling credentials over the years. Lovely hosts in a delightful house with everything you'd need and lots of help on where to eat locally, see and move around town and beyond. A great reason to visit Scarborough in itself. They've even got a means for less mobile guests to get up and down the stairs.

There was absolutely nothing to say - this place is superb and the experience was way beyond expectations.

Very pleasant!.

Easy to find,the fact we got free parking!, breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful,but a little to attentive at breakfast "don't need to fuss around table so much when guest's are eating.

The only thing I didn't like was that I found the stairs a real struggle as we were situated on top floor.

A fabulous experience

Very friendly, genuine, helpful couple who went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent stay. Full of suggestions for pkaces to eat and provided a lovely breakfast too xxx

Parking can be a challenge if there's something on at the outdoor theatre but not a major problem as you can park at several places, with the pass provided by the b&b.

A lovely weekend stay

A beautifully appointed B&B in a fantastic location. Bed was extremely comfortable, yorkshire tea in the room as standard, a nice compact shower room, and the cost was extremely reasonable for the location and quality of accommodation. Hosts were also extremely helpful and friendly. We didnt get an opportunity to try the breakfast but it did smell amazing! Will look to returb here again if we find ourselves back in Scarborough.

Amazing gem

Relaxing, uplifting, peaceful and inspiring.

This is a smart part of town and I’ve stayed over in a selection of very good guest houses. yet this is the best. Quality to the finest detail and lovely, accommodating, authentic personnel. Great value. Everything surpasses.

Delightful Guest House

Exceptional

We were given a very warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly hosts. The room was very clean with a comfortable double bed and a well stocked hospitality tray with plenty of kitkats, always a bonus. Full English breakfast with fresh ground coffee and locally sourced products was lovely. Located near Peasholm park, and not too far to walk into town.

There was nothing to not like.

Made to feel welcome from the moment I checked in. Annie offered a cup of tea right away! Room was comfortable and clean and well stocked with tea and coffee with lots of milk pods which you don't normally get enough of. Even had some kit-kats on the tray. Location wise, it is hard to get better. Less than a minute's walk from Peasholm Park and a nice little selection of eateries and a grocery shop on your doorstep. On street parking is easily available and permits provided. North Bay itself is only a couple of minutes stroll away. Annie, the landlady, and her husband where very friendly and always said hello or asked how things were as I was coming and going. Although I didn't select the breakfast option it smelled lovely cooking and other guests in the dining room seemed to be thoroughly enjoying it. If (when) I'm holidaying in Scarborough the next time, St Michael's will be my first choice of place to stay.
