de prachtige omgeving, tuin en interieur is fantastisch
we vonden het diner goed maar kan beter

Beautiful gardens & very chilled/ relaxed atmosphere. Daily menu delicious & good value- the chef's are excellent. Loved the hamman treatments & spa too. Stay was so relaxing & setting perfect. Bus into Essaouira very efficient. Just a wonderful few days..thank you!
The pillows on the beds are a bit flat & uncomfy. My friend also found this. We tried the larger square pillows but even these were not helpful. Please change the bed pillows for more supportive, softer ones as it will benefit all guests.
Breakfast really good, but after a few days, more variety would be appreciated.ie different juices, more cooked food offered, croissants, pastries added etc.

Pretty grounds. Adult-only pool was nice. Excellent personnel. A tight ship is definitely run. Rooms were nice, nothing particularly to write home about; pretty much the wonted, top-notch Moroccan design and general tidiness you find just about everywhere else in the area, but at a different price point. Big breakfast buffet until 10:30 (!). Checkout at noon (!). Bliss. We gave three rooms and a cluster of meals and spa treatments a burl here on two different visits.
On both occasions all three of us agreed that the best aspects were the Moroccan personnel and the pool and architecture and that the biggest letdown was the gastronomy, which left something to be desired (and the prices really stick it to you). But! This latter could improve.
We asked for a full bed and were given two mattresses pushed together, so there was a cavern in the middle—just FYI in case you want to actually sleep together … maybe some couples prefer not to. 🤷♀️
The personnel seemed peppy enough, but poked around a bit and seems there’s a bit of a stiff upper lip afoot. That is to say, no complaints from the guest side of things, just felt a touch sheepish. And not all travelers even give a hoot about this, though we do.
All in all a decent place to hang your hat for a few days in the Essaouira area, if you’re not on a shoestring and willing to dish out for the European prices. Note that we didn’t snoop about the large villas, which could very well be the reason this place gets the hype.

Our favourite stay in Morocco! Oasis of peace with beautiful gardens, great restaurant and adults only pool. definitely worth a stay if you’re around Essaouira.
I wish we could stay for longer - low availability on rooms!

I am not normally a fan of hotels and tend to stay in villas when travelling, but Le jardin is so special and a few days here was a real treat and the perfect place to unwind. The hotel is small but perfectly formed! The decor and landscaping are beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are wonderful. Already booked my next stay and can’t wait to return in October!

Just incredible. Amazing staff. Beautiful heated pool. Two pools (one for families and the other adults only). Tea and cake served at 5PM made you feel taken care of. The food is incredible. room and bed were extremely comfortable.
Only improvement I could see is adding a space for fitness. That could be a gym, tennis or something along those lines.

The facilities and location were excellent and not too far from Essaouira. Food at dinner and breakfast were very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the birdlife.
Nothing springs to mind.

One of the most beautiful places we’ve been. Once you enter the premises gates you enter a magical world with spacious gardens and villas mixed with small traditional huts with high quality, romantic rooms. There are two pools and multiple bars, an incredible restaurant and other facilities. Last, but not least the staff is wonderful and the level of service is incomparable. Highly suggest if you want some relaxing days in Moroccan sun or use this as a hub to explore countries west coast.

A mix of charm, style and comfort ! Great attention to detail from the superbly kept gardens to the immaculate service. Le Jardin des Douars is a little gem and is managed like a well oiled machine. Delicious + scrumptious diner served (for adults) in beautiful Moroccan style decorated room. Two pool areas (one for adults only) surrounded by lush vegetation and palm trees. Deserves all its accolades top grade establishment.
nothing really other than one has to accept that it’s a family place with children of all ages consequently it can become a little noisy at times. The property, however, is large enough to find peace and quiet if necessary.

The gardens and sitting areas were amazing. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Nice quiet (and romantic!) dining room for adults only. Had a wonderful massage
Our room was rather noisy as this is clearly a family place, with lots of babies. On the whole it is possible to have a peaceful holiday but you need to take families into account
