Lovely pub/restaurant/hotel with great staff. Was an old train station and the pub is all themed around the trai

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean with good facilities. The breakfast was lovely and we had an evening meal on one night too which was delicious.

The shower wasn’t the best, not awful just the water changes temperature randomly whilst you shower. It was clean though and certainly wasn’t the worst I’ve had.

Everything was great.

Lovely charming pub, food was great both breakfast and dinner, bed was comfy room has everything you could need and more. The woman who ran the pub was lovely and welcoming very down to earth. Would definitely stay here again.

Super breakfast, excellent quality of food. Very clean room. Thought into little things such as filter coffee in room, biscuits in a jar, hand cream in bathroom etc. Even though rooms are above a pub, it is really quiet.

Bed slightly hard but I like soft beds :) Most people would be happy.

near walking area, very clean and staff are very welcoming. Breakfast was superb cannot fault the service

No air conditioning thus ended up opening the window and turning on the fan. Obviously next door did the same thus we could hear everything

Good accommodation, great staff and overall a very nice experience.

Location was perfect for my purposes, great local walks for my dog. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, room was good and food was very nice. Even my dog got a free breakfast, which was a nice touch.

Exceptional

Rather annoyed that I accepted your invite to upgrade the room and when I got there it was the original room that I had chosen. The reason being that they only had one twin room and they would not of been able to upgrade me. I will not use Booking. Com again as you cost me £36 more to stay

Nice few days away

We have stayed at Avon Causeway before. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely and room clean with plenty of tea and coffee to hand.

We were sad that they don't use the railway carriage for breakfast now as it was a great talking point. Also there was no mention on line that Sunday the whole place bar included closed at 7pm.

Hotel and staff are very welcoming and the rooms are clean as well.

We had dinner and it was very good also the breakfast was good as well the staff keep coming to your table to make sure you had everything you need did.

Good free parking, welcoming/cosy feel, very helpful staff, excellent food, lovely touches in rooms, fresh filter coffee, biscuits, fresh milk, superb body wash/lotion/shampoos by Bramley.

Fab!

We wanted a dog friendly hotel for a first trip away with our dog. Not sure what to expect but when we arrived it never occurred to us that other dogs may have stayed in our room recently, it was so clean and fresh. Doggie breakfast a great touch!

The hotel, now updated since the main photo is the site of the old railway station of which still houses the platform and an old steam train, now a restaurant. Everything about our stay was top mark including a quality breakfast, great restaurant and staff
