When we booked this property, my husband and I read it as this house was secluded. This was very important to us due to traveling with our dogs. Luckily, we were able to make the baby gate that was left on the back deck work with straps so our dogs could stay out there with us and not be on a leash the entire time. Just know this baby gate does not fit in the opening to the stairs on the back deck. We had to use straps to hold it up.
Also, the listing does state that there is AC, there is but it's the smaller units that hang on the wall. It is not central AC. We got the house to cool off with using both box fans, ceiling fans, and both ac units (one upstairs and one downstairs), but it wasn't like what we are used to at home. Sleep was not pleasant due to it being warmer.
It was just frustrating to be expecting secluded and AC and not be exactly that when we arrived. Other than these two things, this house is beautiful, very clean, and so relaxing with the creek in the back. The town is so cute, and everyone is so nice here!
Recommendations: Make sure to visit Carver's Apple Orchard down the road! Great food, candy, and a farmers market to buy fresh produce! We also hiked Stone Mountain Trail. This hike was difficult but worth the view at the top and is dog friendly!

Very relaxing and beautiful property. Feel refreshed!

Nice cabin and nice stay. Couple things should be maintained better. The screen doors need repaired and back porch lots cob webs. We had to wash the whole porch to use it. The creek was lovely but not really able to fish.

We had a fun 2 nights, spent time in Gatlinburg and GSMNP. Groceries are available within 5 minutes and a few places to eat too. Property is as advertised, although some of the pics are a bit outdated. It was a little difficult to find, even with the instructions provided. Google maps has it right. When we arrived the back door was unlocked, and I had to compare the pics on the site to the cabin to make sure I was in the right cabin, as it is not clearly marked. Several other rentals in the area. The stream.is RIGHT at the back door. Very glad I did not bring the dogs as they would have been very difficult to keep them out of the water, so if your dog is motion driven, like mine, it would be a tall task. Make sure you read the check out instructions on the fridge as the one that come via email are different. I almost left without stripping the beds and moving the dirty towels to the washer. 2 bathrooms, upstairs has the shower, downstairs has a tub. We needed to leave the bedroom doors open and run fans to keep the bedrooms cool from the 2 wall mounted A/C units. Kitchen supplies get the job done, pots and pans a new and nice.

This property was not honest In it’s listing. It says there was air conditioning, but there is no central air, fans and two motorized wall mounts only. When it rained a musty/moldy smell took over the cabin. It also a fire pit and grill, but they were broken down and dirty. There was no good place for fishing. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the toilet paper and towels were very thin. The outdoor furniture was not in good condition. If you use this cabin take everything with you because there was nothing like paper plates, napkins, seasonings, etc. We were very disappointed

We loved our stay at this cozy real log cabin. Property exactly as described. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the creek and the kids loved playing in the water. Such a great spot. We hope to be back soon!

This property was perfect for our annual trip to Cosby. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and would definitely recommend!

A beautiful cabin on Cosby Creek. Great place to sit and relax listening to the creek and swinging in the porch swing. Easy to get to and just the right size for our group of 5. Only issue is states it sleeps 6 but 2 would be on a couch upstairs and a loveseat downstairs. Would rent again.

The cabin was cozy and had everything you could possibly need. My dog loved swimming in the river. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring the beautiful state of Tennessee. The beds were a bit hard for my old bones but overall, it was a great place to relax and get away from the city! Great fishing, good food and nice people. We will be back soon! Thank you!

Cute cabin that was quiet and serene. We didn’t catch any fish but had a nice time.

The cabin and property were perfect. It’s a nice peaceful place to stay. Loved being so close to the creek. However it is not easy to fish at the cabin. Wish we would have had more information of places we could fish. Just up the road is a wonderful little restaurant Janice’s. Great food and friendly people!! We would definitely book this cabin again.

Everything was in good condition. We loved the stream being so close, hot tub and porch swings. It is an older cabin with ants in the kitchen. We didn't cook while at the cabin. Carver Apple Orchard/restaurant is just down the road and is wonderful. We overlooked the ant problem and enjoyed the good things!

We enjoyed every bit of it. The best part was that the cabin was described perfectly, often you get to your stay and find it’s so different from the listing but this was spot on. We will be back for sure!

Great stay, amazing views, quiet neighborhood. Tucked away off the main highway. Great little cabin for our family spring break trip.

Fished for trout, played pacman, enjoyed the hot tub with the stream for a veiw and background noise, enjoyed the gas fireplace, and saw 4 deer. Great anniversary trip.

The property was beautiful next to the river, perfect for drinking your morning coffee and listening to the river from the porch. Clean, easy, I would easily stay here again. I highly recommend!

This was a nice quaint cabin right by the creek. We mainly booked it because we wanted to do some fishing while at the cabin; however, the water was very shallow so it wasn't a great spot to fish. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The kids enjoyed staying upstairs in the loft where the tv was. The only negative was when you turned the fireplace on downstairs it got so hot upstairs that you would have to turn the A/C on just to make it bearable. We enjoyed the hot tub on the porch, but wish it came with some instructions. Loved the location of the cabin in relation to Pigeon Forge. It was only about a 30 minute drive away. I highly recommend booking a side by side tour with Smokey Mountain Adventure Tour and eating lunch at Janice's Diner in town. The cabin does have neighbors on each side of it so it's not secluded by any means. We enjoyed our stay but we would probably book another cabin that has more amenities for kids. Also, I've booked many VRBO stays and have never stayed where the cleaning crew left an envelope asking for tips...

My husband and I came to the cabin to celebrate our First wedding anniversary!
We absolutely loved the cabin and the grounds!
It was beautifully clean and adorable! Nicely stocked with everything you could need!
The setting made you feel like you had all the privacy in the world! But just a short drive to Maggie Valley where we got married at Soco Falls last year and even shorter to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!
The hot tub overlooking the creek was amazing!
We slept with the windows open often to hear the sound of the creek!
We will definitely be back!!!

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed Pigeon Forge and hiked alot. We try to come down each year and stay in different areas near and around Knoxville and Pigeon Forge. This was our first trip to Cosby and really thought the area was beautiful.
The cabin was a dream and very peaceful and private at the time we were there. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, relaxing just as described opened the bedroom windows and let the sound of the creek put us to sleep. Just far enough away from Gatlinburg to not have to deal with the traffic but yet close enough to be convenient. We will be staying here again

The cabin was great. Easy drive to Gatlinburg and the property was awesome. Would stay again.

The property was clean and in good shape. The only downside was that it was not as secluded as advertised, with other structures on both sides, but the sound of the creek did drown out any noise from them. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

Such a great little cabin! Had the best spot on the creek. Fishing was fun and the creek was literally steps from the back deck so sitting outside and listening to the water was the epitome of relaxation. The cabin itself was well appointed and had everything we needed. Recommend!

This is a wonderful cabin. Super location, creek 6' away from the deck, quiet, and beautiful area. The cabin is far enough away from the tourist madness in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but also within reasonable driving distance to the National Park our tourist activities in those areas. Super close to white water rafting <15min on the Pigeon river. Property managers we really gracious. We actually messed up when we made our reservations and wound up showing up a day early, prompting a call to the property manager at 11pm. They were gracious with our mistake and responsive at a late hour; thank you! WE would stay here again

The rippling waters of the creek was so relaxing. Excellent privacy. Good value (close enough to Gatlinburg w/o paying Gatlinburg prices). Definitely worth a return trip.

Perfect for our weekend getaway! Plan to stay here again!

Overall was good. The cabin inside was clean but the porch needed cobwebs removed and windows had cobwebs. The ac was adequate for the cool temps but would not stay during heat of summer.

The stay at the property was wonderful. Finding it was difficult since the landmarks to get there from Gatlinburg were not there. All of the signs were gone and the road sign was covered by tree leaves. The road is exactly 3 miles from the T in Cosby.
Loved the isolation and peace of the cabin.

The house was not clean.
