Perfect verblijf nabij Sigeriya

Prachtig hotel op geweldige locatie met ontzettend behulpzaam en aardig personeel. onze wifi ontvangt was niet optimaal. Kregen we direct een eigen router.

The bungalow on the trees are just exceptional !! The view on the rize field with sunset and wildlife is wonderful. The place is really charming. Well equiped. We really loved that place.

The location is amazing. The stay in the treehouse was a great experience and absolutely fun for our son. The pool is really nice.

The facilities would need a makeover and deep cleaning.

Loved staying at The Hideout

We had a wonderful time at The Hideout. We stayed in one of the treehouses. Very secluded and peaceful with beautiful views over to Lion Rock. Staff were excellent. They were very helpful especially for organising day trips. Great for families, we were with three kids (10, 11, 14) who loved the pool.

The breakfast was exceptional as well as the dinner. We loved the English breakfast.. They included starters which were totally unexpected. They also provided Kola Kenda. The views were mesmerizing and the environment being silent. The rooms were spacious and comfy. We loved the stay!!

We found some insects over our dinner at the restaurant. Could have taken measures for pest control.

WONDERFUL!

Super friendly staff and an incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable manager. Hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Perfectly located. Peaceful, tranquil, great pool, plus a view of Lions rock from a cute treehouse style viewpoint. Great stay.

we booked the treehouse. first it was veeery nice but after we went for dinner and the room got colder MANY COCKROACHES CAME OUT. like literally 10+ huge cockroaches. we got the normal double room which was meeh. wouldnt want to get a shower in there.. so yeah really disappointed

Perfect Hideout Stay !

The staff is certainly the very highlight of this hotel. Maya, the manager is very caring and always ready to help. The cook is very accommodating & happy to make guest tastes local food. We loved the tree house which was very peaceful and perfect for our short stay.

Lovely place with kind and sweet staff

Lovely location and very sweet and kind staff. Gorgeous garden with a nice pool.

We initially were given a very bad, dirty room. The bed made such a noise that we couldn't sleep. Had to move mattress onto the floor. Lots of mould in the bathroom and on the shower curtains. Very bad. Also the toilet shower hose broke the first time I used it. The head came off and the water flooded the bathroom. But when I told and showed the lovely manager (and he is lovely!) he was very apologetic and gave us a better room which was much cleaner and more comfortable. He also said that they will close that original room. So all in all, it was a good stay. It's a nice place with a few problems. Hopefully, my constructive feedback will help to make this place great. Cos it def has the potential. We love the staff and the place has good vibes.

Beautiful, serene hideout, brilliantly located close to Sigiriya and safari

Beautiful location, right in the middle of some paddy fields so that it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere - but actually, you’re very close to Sigiriya and some safari parks Also, a really lovely pool that’s a perfect place to relax after a hard day’s walking! And wonderful hosts, and delicious home-cooked food

This is for the owner of the property. you are so helpful and kind. But the bad smell around the car park and the restaurant was very unpleasant on our arrival. Also, we did not enjoy your food at all. Please improve those.

The perfect place for a quiet peaceful stay. I couldn’t reccomend more.

Such a beautiful tranquil place. The treehouse was perfect. So peaceful with a lovely view across the rice fields. Loads of fantastic wildlife. A gorgeous pool area. The staff were superb, very attentive and helpful.

Hidden gem

The hotel manager Maye was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, was always around for anything we needed. The treehouse was definitely worth upgrading for as the views where amazing.

Not fair place for the price, room looks different in reality, much worse

-Room was very different form photos on booking.com -In bathroom everything was fixed by duct tape Unfortunately, being honest with host I have to admit that standard of a room war very poor for this price, comparing to another hotels in Sri lanka.

If I come to srilanka once again will definitely stay here once again.

we stayed in the tree house and it was exceptional and so beautiful, the place is simply superb, the view from the tree house is breathtaking (early in the morning especially)The place is taken care by a lovely couple and they are so good made us feel like family. Thank you for the hospitality uncle and aunty.

Unforgettable experience

Everything! The pool was great, the bed comfortable, food delicious, bird and monkey watching from the tree house terrace amazing and the hosts treated us like family. They even accommodated our driver. After four nights we were sad to leave.

Nothing. Maybe some areas need a bit of renovating and cleaning, but it’s not an issue. I didn’t expect sparkling cleanness and shiny new out in the nature.

beautiful and peaceful place

we spent a night in the treehouse. Beautiful place in the middle of the nature. Everybody was really nice and helpful. I recommend it for everybody who is looking for a peaceful, beautiful and special place. From the terrace of the treehouse you can even see sigiriya rock. The food was also really good.

The host family is very helpful and accommodating. They are very knowledgeable about the area, provide really good advice on how to get around and arrange transportation with reliable drivers.
