Fabulous hotel, great location, excellent manager and good food

This was a beautiful hotel right in Cong village. It was really quaint. Food was excellent.

Lovely friendly staff a very nice breakfast I definitely would stay here again.

The entrance into the hotel is very outdated I did have to wait a while before I got a member of staff I had to go into the bar to Find someone to check in But I do understand he was working on his own so it wasn’t a problem.

Loved every minute.

National storm resulted in electricity being cut. The staff went above and beyond to look after guests and patrons. They arranged dinner and sandwiches. All the staff we're lovely, efficient and professional. Spent the eve under candle light playing cards/draughts and reading.

On checking my receipt hotel charged €140 but booking.com charged me €155.I would like an explanation please

Carpet on stairs disgusting it was so dirty.Reception empty . Foyer void of any luxury-2 kitchen chairs and a crib sums up the luxury greetings you get on entering .Breakfast a disaster certainly par cooked the night before and definitely not edible.Tea:Coffee drinkable.They charge way over the odds and leave a bad taste as they are glad to get overflow from Ashford and The Lodge.I would definitely not recommend any one stay at this hotel.

What a lovely place/ staff and high Quality service

I loved how comfortable the place was . So clean And facilities top class. The owner/manager was a lovely man.. really efficient and friendly yet not intrusive at all.. so helpful . And the breakfast was of very high standard..I loved the atmosphere in this place and would highly recommend it

I can't think of anything not to like except maybe put a few single one in a pack biscuits with the tea/ Coffee in the room but that's only a personal like !

In the heart of Cong

Location, it is in the heart of Cong. It has a very good restaurant with good local live music on a Tuesday night. Also, the hotel had a large parking lot behind the hotel

There was no window in the bedroom but had a small window in the bath room. This made it difficult to cool the room. It was unusually warm for Ireland that week. However, my brother room had two large windows in his room.

Great friendly & central location for a stay in Cong.

Breakfast room was spacious and airy, the breakfast choice was basic fried breakfast items (fried egg sausage, bacon, white & black pudding, grilled tomatoes, along with a choice of 4 cereals 3 fruit juices, natural yogurt and fruits, wheaten bread tea or coffee and toast. The order for hot beverages and toast were taken and promptly served on arrival along with a welcoming greeting. The bedroom and ensuite was both spacious and clean The location of the hotel set on the main street in cong village is second to none for anyone doing the Quiet man tour etc. the grounds of ashford castle and river are all within a 4-5 minute gentle walk from the door as is all or most of the quiet man locations. Parking was ample and to the rear of the hotel accessed by a narrow entrance off the main street Very friendly staff throughout the hotel

(only down side and this was a personal issue for both myself and my wife was the firmness of the bed and pillows, again purely a personal thing) so if you like a really firm mattress and then this is your place to stay. Unfortunately we found waking up in the morning with an almost sore feeling. Unfortunately this would be the only reason we would find not to return to Ryans Hotel.

Located in the middle of everything, we drove but barely used the car! Staff were attentive and friendly.. breakfast was delicious. Pub and restaurant adjoining which is super handy. Vast menu, very tasty food! Highly recomend visiting and staying here

Staff were friendly and humorous. It was good to have a restaurant in the location because of the limited choices in town. A caution for visitors: Don't restaurants stop serving at 8:00 pm.
