The views from the restaurant.
The fact we ordered food and it came out dry and like rubber. The service was terrible, we had to clear our own table of enpty drinks and plates. We were not informed when we check in that at night-time the outside door to the rooms would be locked and we're not given the key code, as a result when we returned from our evening out we couldn't get into the building and could not access our room. Tried to make contact with the numbers provided on the email. No joy. Couldn't make contact with anyone and as its a pub noone was working throughout the night. Had to book alternative accomidation (luckily) at 1.30am otherwise we'd have been sleeping outside. Came back the following morning at 8.45am still noone around. Couldn't get in. Asked locals who tried their best to ring staff they knew working there, also was informed this was not the first time guests have had this experience... And informed a group of six last winter were left outside in the freezing cold, and they actually had to force the door in. At 9.45am a worker showed up and she couldn't even get in. Asked to be contacted by a manager, no manager ever rang. Rang the premises, told a manager would ring us back again. Still haven't rang back. Paid in advance for a service that was non existence and a stay we didn't end up having. Absolutely deplorable. Would not reccomend and would advise any bride or grooms to not reccomend this place for their guests accomidation. Horrific.

All other information about a B&B is irrelevant if you can not expect a half decent night's sleep.
Stayed here for 1 night in August.
Felt compelled to leave a poor review as this place advertises itself as a bed & breakfast, but unfortunately, sleep was impossible as the bar had extremely loud music blaring until 4am. This mixed with the constant banging of what I came to assume was a door, made for a hellish night. At 150 euro for the night(no actual breakfast included), it would be respectful at least to knock the music off around 12. Predictably, there was no manager or owner on site when we went to check out in the morning. They leave it to some girls running the adjacent cafe to take the keys and the criticism, which we didn't bother to unleash as I'm assuming the poor girl only works in the place. Other information about a b&b is irrelevant if you can't expect a night's sleep. The room was ok with a very nice view and a tv. They also have the cheek to ask you to leave and return key to a staff member by 11am or threaten a 20 euro fine. You have to search for a staff member...Overall a miserable experience.

The room was nice and clean
Nice cafe right next door that is owned by the B&B, so no reason breakfast couldn't be served there or a voucher for e10 given to each guest perhaps
There was no breakfast
VERY expensive considering there was no breakfast
This should be made very clear to guests that there is no breakfast
The outside of the pub still advertises Bed & Breakfast

The bed was very comfortable
Falsely advertised, unfortunately. This is not a B&B or a hotel; it’s a few rooms above a pub with no breakfast on offer.
I paid €650 for four nights (!!) without any form of breakfast, the hallway to the rooms was cluttered with spare furniture, the views from the bedrooms are completely compromised by the roof of the pub below, and never once was the bedroom turned down or restocked with coffee/tea/milk.
We felt so incredibly let down, that we left one night early. Staff were kind enough, but other than a free drink, no attempt made to ease the disappointment.

Staff were incredible!

No breakfast
One or two more tea bags and milk cartons

Comfortable bed and very close to Mulranny Park Hotel
Room facing road not the beach. May have been an error on our part and had to be specifically mentioned or had to pay more.

Location was great. We had the view of the beach. Room was clean and the bed was very comfy.

The Furnature was as per the photo, lovely bed, room much smaller but having a great bed and mattress more than made up for it. Lovely view also of the sea.
As it was a 1 night stay I didn’t bring shower gel expecting some to be there, there wasn’t. Also it isn’t possible to have breakfast at the premises, however there are plenty of other places to eat if you are travelling by car.

Locked out of our accommodation at 3 am. after a wedding near by,, as a deadbolt had been locked inside.
Had to call the guards to get all the guests into the property. No support from owners. We were told at 4 am to wait outside for guards and not their problem. Shocking business attitude and also didn't care about our safety locked outside, wasting valuable guards time.. just not good enough.

We got locked out of the building, someone locked the door on the inside (not a guest)when we eventually got in contact with the owner he didn't care, he told me it was 4 o clock in the morning, he was in bed and what did he want me to do about it. He was obviously ok leave 12 guest standing on the street for the night. We had to contact the guards to get us in. We have not heard anything from him since but he had no problem taking our money. Not a good attitude from a business person

The room was very clean, very comfortable bed.
Staff extremely friendly and food excellant.
Beautiful location.
There was NO BREAKAST
The website showed a question asked last year and was answered that there was a breakfast.
Room was cold but when we asked a heater was placed in the room.
Would have liked a breakfast.

we stayed here for 3 nights. Beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom and shower were extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and could not of been more helpful. The kitchen was being refurbed at the time of our stay, however we were able to still use the bar and the pub over the road served food.

Very comfortable bed. Room was spotless, and we had a spectacular view of the sea. Staff where very helpful and friendly.Food was great, so tasty. We had a lovely stay. Thanks to all the family and staff.
Unfortunately our room was cold when we arrived. Radiator did come on shortly after we got there. There was a plug in heater which we used so that was good.

Fantastic rooms, very clean and really comfortable beds and pillows. Nice bar / restaurant and the food was lovely with big portions! Breakfast was great and served until 12pm which is really great. Fantastic views
Dinner menu in Bar a little limited but genuinely couldn't fault the quality.
4.5
The breakfast was first class - high standard of cooking and presentation (it more than fortified us for the 35 miles that we subsequently cycled on that day!). The staff were very attentive, efficient, pleasant and courteous.
The standard of the accomodation is 4star (at least.) Very convenient car & bicycle parking provided.
It was our first time to stay at McLoughlins -- we would highly recommend.
Honestly I cannot think of anything (even the Guinness was perfect!!)
3.5
bed too big for room very cramped
