The location of the apartment is exceptional, and it is spacious and modern. The Host was good to deal with and attentive.
There was no warning about the number of stairs to get to the apartment (42 steps and three flights - extremely steep). With parents in their 70s I had to carry all the luggage up myself and hurt my back doing it. I wish it was mentioned in the property description, I’d have stayed elsewhere.
The advert stipulated that there was a washing machine, robes and slippers, there were not. The shower was mouldy but the host was very attentive to that.
Instructions for how to find things in the apartment and how to light the stove would be good. The common area lights were also out so we had to use torches to get up and down the stairs at night - not the hosts fault.
To get into the building and apartment you access a link via your phone. When your phone loses reception in the common area, you have to enter a PIN code to get in.

Location was good
Very little cutlery provided. There is no toaster, no chopping board or any egg flipper. No tea towels, no paper towels or napkins provided. Cleaner give us the wrong information about extra linen provided so we used an extra few towels and was going to be charged 300 Euro more for damages. Yes 300 Euro

Amazing location. Steps away from 2 supermarkets. There is even a full service laundromat downstairs. Very quiet
A minute walk to Piazza Navona, great central location to see Rome

Our host was very helpful, whipping up another bed for us so our children weren't sharing a bed, and letting us check out late when it was pouring with rain on our last morning. The locating is sensational - close to all the sights and buses, as well as a lot of restaurants.

The most important things were great: the host, the rooms, the beds, the location and so on
Could have been nice to have: sugar ,coffee, olive oil ... upon arrival, but there is a supermarket 50m from the apartment.
Important to know (we knew): it is on the third floor, No elevator

Close to main attractions, many restaurants, bar, dessert, just around the corner.
Easy to communicate with the host.

The location is perfect for exploring the city, right in the middle of everything!
Apartment is beautiful, clean and and definitely has a wow factor.
Needs a new shower head and a washing machine would have made it perfect.

Staff is friendly, the house is comfortable, clean and incredibly central, close to everything.
A lot of stairs to climb and no elevator (harder for older people). Cleaning fee of 100 euros which is not reflected in the price that appears in booking (usual for booking, apparently). Fee of 30 euros charged for the change in the check in hour.

The location was perfect for us, 15 min. walk to Vatican and 30 min. to Colosseum. Streets around the apartment are lovely, there is a lot of restaurants and boutiques right next to it. The apartment is big, beds were very comfortable. We were happy, that A/C worked well, as it was very hot in Rome. We parked at parking "Via Giulia", which was 5 min. walk. The parking is very modern and not to expensive for Rome.
Freezer was broken, so the fridge was very cold. We didn't have WiFi for the arrival day, but was installed on the next morning, so it was ok.

Location!! Lovely Quirky apartment!
Having tea/coffee available in the rooms would’ve been good.

Good location.
Total disaster! The landlord totally screwed us over. In booking.com it said 330€ + taxes which would in total make 360€. However, the guy who we were paying to told us to pay him 435€ and when we tried to explain him and showed him our booking page, he said either you pay 435 or you leave and he tried to get us out of the apartment. We ended up paying 70 euros more because we couldn't have found somewhere else to stay on Christmas. Then he told us the extra 70€ was the "booking commission". When we asked for an invoice of our payment to later take legal action; he told us he would send it. Guess what? He never did. Just don't stay here if you don't want to be screwed over because you're a tourist in the wonderful city of Rome.
