Great view and location

The location was fantastic. Close to a lovey beach with good quality beach chairs and a lovely array of restaurants and bars. Room was large and had a great little kitchenette and seating area. The staff answered questions promptly

There was a gym upstairs that started at 5:00am and finished at around 11:00pm. The noise was quite intense at times and made it hard to relax.

Very good

The view from the apartment was perfect. The location was good, close to the city center. It was easy to find a parking place. In the same building there is a very good restaurant Nostros.

The place is quite old. It requires a renovation soon (walls, bathroom). The fridge works very loudly at night. The doors from the bathroom are also loud.

Little bit noisy in working hours due to the gym in the lower floor - nevertheless I already expected this, having read other reviews, and i can say it was not something unbearable after all, but this can be subjective.

Pleasant stay

Good location, good facilities, you can easily find a parking spot. We liked that we could use the washing machine in the hallway. Right above where we stayed there is a gym but it didn't bother us like we saw in other reviews. The street has a lot of traffic as you would expect, but the windows did a good job keeping the noise away.

I would suggest some coffee in the room.

I would like to recommend Meltemi Coast Suites to everyone! Wonderful stay for a couple. Perfect location with stunning sea view, close to the city center. Apartments are well maintained and cleaned on daily basis. Our host Emmanouela was very nice and friendly!

Locatio was great

The kitchen wasn't well equipped. Lots of simple utensils missing. The best were separate from the headboard and the bed kept sliding away from wall. There was not a hook.for the shower head in teh shower cubicle so you had to hold it above you head by hand

Perfect

Great location, right next to the beach, with beautiful views over the city and the sunset. Very clean, everyday cleaning, changing the linen 3 times in one week. Apartament has everything you need and is spacious enough for 3_4 people.

Great apartment next to the beach with helpful hosts for local recommendations. very clean apartment and comfortable bed. Nice restaurant downstairs for nights we didn’t fancy the walk to the old town.

The power of the shower was a bit weak but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Location was really good. Quiet part of the town, but therefore plenty of spaces at beautifull beach and restaurants. Town center in walking distance. View really nice (sea) and beach at ca 50 meters form appartment. Parking free and enough spaces near appartment

Beds were bit hard. maybe also beter to have 2 quilts, or one of larger size

- simple, clean, comfortable and sufficiently equipped apartment - fantastic view from the balcony and the sound of the waves heard in the room (opened window) - no problem with finding a parking place - bike rental downstairs - great location - walking distance to the center

- there is a road between the building and the beach, however at night the traffic is not loud or disruptive

It would be nice if we got free water every day

The cleaning lady she came every day to clean our room. She was nice but can't speak English. There was no reception but no problem because we can talk on whatsapp. Great location, clean and new room

Everything was great but there's fitness studio upstairs and that was loud and annoying because they started early in the morning until late. No breakfast

Disappointing

Even though the apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped it lost all its charm due to unbearable noise coming from the fitness center above, staring from early morning till late at night. This inconvenience is mentioned nowhere in the description of the place therefore would only recommend it to travelers who have a very high noise tolerance.

Great location, rough sea

Hosts are very friendly, helpful and responsive (available 24/7 on Whatsapp), sent me clear instructions on getting the keys. Location is great: just across the beach, good sea view from a large balcony, 2 minutes to a huge supermarket, 5 minutes to a bus stop, 10 minutes walking to the town, 30 min slow walking to the Bus Station of Rethymno if you want to go to Heraklion or Chania. A5 apartment (1st floor, side sea view) is recently refurbished, modern and clean, exactly like in the photos.

If you are sensitive to noise and vibration, this block of apartments is not for you: 1st and 3rd floors are occupied by apartments and in the 2nd floor between them a huge local fitness center is located. So during the day till late evening you hear the sound of falling iron. Besides, the road that separates you from the beach has enough traffic. Mattresses were too soft for me, I had backaches. But it's individual, objectively they are new and expensive.
